Harakiri Tiger Posted January 18, 2012 Report Share Posted January 18, 2012 Today's downtime was also due to the same problem with the IPS server migration. Don't worry people, it was nothing we did. Hopefully this server migration stops giving us problems soon, haha. This is mostly the fault of the way the files that run the forum are encoded and the fact that decoder hasn't been properly updated yet to work with the new software. You may experience other errors due to the new files that were uploaded to work around the decoding problems. It seems to me that quick posts are not showing up, even though the forum is processing them. This means when you try to make a quick post it will go through, but it won't show up on your screen. You have to refresh the page to see your post. Posts you make using the full post editor will also go through, even if it gives you an error. Just refresh the page. Some topics/posts/blog posts will also not show up because they're too big for the current memory limit (which is bugged). I'm working with IPS to get it fixed. I'll keep you updated.
