I can access it through other people's IPs and proxies, although I can't find a way to use chat with the proxies. Could you look into any possible restriction of IPs from the server Niji? Harakiri Tiger Posted July 4, 2013 Report Share Posted July 4, 2013 Yeah, the server bans IPs for things that trigger the ModSecurity (ModSec) program that my host runs. I've asked them if it's possible to be on a server without it, but they won't let me do that if I want to be hosted with them. They don't have access to the forum data so they can't ban you there, just your IP gets banned from their servers. It's basically just the server host themselves auto-banning you for saying funny word combinations or sometimes for a strange URL, which is why posting perfectly normal posts or editing can result in a 2day IP ban by accident. It's frustrating, but to get rid of it I'd have to switch to a worse host. I just woke up like 2 hours ago today. I feel great! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
