Description:

Built to withstand almost anything, Vengeance is loaded with armor and still has enough speed to be competitive, it takes a lot of ammo to bring this monster's rampage to an end.

Tactics:

The 69M and RM are first used as spam drop weapons and then I switch between the verts and the RA2 depending on the situation.

Known Issues:

This AC could be faster, but it has loads of AP and defense to make it a fearsome fortress.

PvP Information:

None with this revision.

--------------------------------------------------

Notes:

It's a fortress, hope you have enough ammo.

I love the build and it should keep you alive for a while but my AC Libra's buff like this and had PIXIE3. I remember In my KAI days I got better mileage out of a right arm handgun. Your core doesn't allow for hangars however, so maybe RA2? I plan on trying to run RA2 on Libra if I get back on Kai.

Yeah I liked it better with two rifles. Two rifles has much more range control than mg/rifle, where you either need to always be playing with AP lead and use it as a cqc punisher and rely a lot on your back weapons, or you need a really fast, elusive or aggressive LW to pull the mg/rifle off.

true, but i got to be able to still have speed. OB, what exactly led u to going with a shield on Purple Jesus? im thinking of going that route if i feel that will do more good than dual wielding guns (but some shields have a little weight with them), so i want to hear ur reasons for going that route over dual guns.

A couple of reasons, and they're mostly out of gimmick.

I wanted Purple Jesus to most resemble a true heavyweight of old, with defense so thick it's almost impossible to break. Adding a shield doesn't really do that, but it brings Purple Jesus closer to the role of a heavyweight than just a gouged middleweight.

Also, when the shield is up it looks like a running back carrying a football, one of whom which is half of what I named Purple Jesus after.

Two rifles-- say R2 and R3-- are way more effective than a single rifle and shield, but I chose to go with the shield to give Purple Jesus more of an identity.
