  1. Ai made the most since to me, Carol gives off the same vibe as Ibis at times. Chief is a bit wackier then you would expect your Nineball derivative to be, rather like his cheer though lol. Then again I hear Wally Wingert and all I can think is Invader Zim. Moving on from that though, Zodiacs feel like test subjects for human plus modification, kinda wish they had taken that story a bit further and maybe mixed it into a few more story missions. Heart emblem is Rosary's emblem, from her backstory with MOH which the order missions hit on.
  2. Seems like it picks and chooses the days its really bad about it as well, I was having trouble for several days straight then pretty much nothing yesterday morning. Hopefully when we start seeing patches it will clear up some more.

  4. Games a blast, still learning ins and outs of chars but Aeon has to be my current fave. Pretty straight forward and simple and have to be damned careful cuz of that but he hits like a truck. Also fire breath, can't forget the fire breath
  5. Feel free to add me for matches, picked up the game yesterday and promptly made a Solaire for it lol. Have to agree with the netcode, I've Mortal Kombat and KOF13 and neither can compare sad as that is to how smooth my matches have been on this one. KOF13 is getting better slowly bit by bit though, the last patch helped it quite a bit.
  6. If I understood it right Pen, what they are meaning is that the starting dlc items just let you unlock what you could already get in the game. Just you have it all at once without having to earn any of it. What I am curious about if anyone can explain a bit is the weapon customization that I have heard about, thats what the "fixed" bit to the weapons is referring to no?
  7. I'm gone for a couple of days and I come back and Moon Walker of all people starts talking about using long range weapons.... I might need to sit down I don't think I will be ready for the US release lol For Densou, yes pile bunkers are now as they were always meant to be, true godhood. Also I saw a pic of something that may or not been called the murakamo that looked to be a pure steel blade type weapon rather then energy based, so KE types as well as TE, I can get behind that, never liked energy weapons anyhow
  8. Added bonus of a sorts for it being so extreme now is that at close range even without scan mode you can have an idea of what their overall weakness is, sure most times you are to busy to figure it but still. It is possible to get some good looking mixes on the armor.
  9. A moment of your time if you so allow, I find myself curious to everyones thoughts on the new design principles that are being used on ACV for the different damage types. Also a secondary question to anyone that has had access to the beta and seen frame parts outside of what we are shown in the demo, do they follow the same as what is presented in the demo? What I mean is the following breakdown: Kinetic - Hard angles with flat or angled protrusions to redirect or block incoming fire from key areas. Chemical - Broad spaces with grating or secondary frame work to allow expanding heat and gases from explosions to pass through or wash over areas with reinforcements bracing them Thermal - Smooth curves with projections to deflect energy or channel it to certain areas to be dissipated So what are your thoughts? Prefer the older styles with main differences being from company and form or this new style with function playing the key? Is style worth a loss or is winning all that matters to you? For all of the older AC games I have a horrible habit of designing form over function, so with this new one I think it may balance out my bad habit of that.
  10. Dreadnaught DLC coming out later today on the 24th if im not mistaken. I play from time to time on the PS3 was a very enjoyable game, multiplayer while simple is enjoyable. Tactical marines for maximum fun, storm bolter or stalker
  11. Yeah, sorry for taking off on ya like I did there Fen but hunger got the best of me plus just got off work a bit before so im crashing for a few hours at least. Im not sure but on the EN amp i think it either gives you a quick boost to your energy or enhances energy weapons, haven't messed with it enough to be certain. AC design wise thinking i might give up my beloved gatling for a bit and try a different path, noticed a lot of the others we ran across were using energy based weapons so a bit of thermal armor ain't to bad. For hardwired- I think someone put up the easy way before but I will give you best breakdown I remember. 1st from the main screen go down to the option that has ps3 in it, then on your next one move to the right side and choose the option next to the film screen thing that should say PV inside that folder you should see the demo look for the big V
  12. So me and Fenrawr ended up on the bad side of a 4 vs 2, managed to smash two of them with pile bunkers, first by ramming full speed into the tunnel and colliding with him, 2nd by sneaking up behind em. Still, others wore us down.

Messing with some tank build ups and from going against the one in the test phase, I can see what yall our talking about nerf wise compared to the older days but i am getting the feeling that what is going to make them really shine is when the multiplayer hits full swing. For example, we still do not know what medley of additional parts and weapons From has in store for us, if i am chasing down some light weight the last thing i'm going to be prepared for is following him around a corner where his big brother is waiting for me with a pair of auto-cannons concealed from my scans cuz of a stealth unit or jammer. Thats just too much dakka in one area. So I think they will still be the monsters they have always been, its just that we have not seen their full potential yet.
