Bag of Peanuts

Bag of Peanuts (1/11)

  1. I better do it then. Do I have to vertical aim constantly, such as aiming up when enemy's on the air and back in front again when they land?
  2. I tried the parts that has WH01HP and SHADE on them. I may have picked the wrong ones, they have weak stats, I'll recheck again. The other parts; I seem to already equipped most of them. I used the 1600+ damage bazooka and get a high aiming arm, get a lock-on widener and it eased significantly. I took almost an hour trying to beat Toothpick in the arena, finally got him. I'll clarify that in SL, I don't know what arm recoil does. In LR, both light and heavy arms can have great "aiming". When I fight ACs that fly alot, I don't aim up, I just wait for them to come down and keep mid to long range distance so they don't go out much off the lock-on square. Is that good? Are there really players that aim up alot? Sometimes, I do air-air against a flyer.
  3. Too bad, I like heavies. I guess getting a 100% saved file is too much... I'll try those tips. I shall see if if it's worth to finish ACLR.
  4. You don't have to go through all of them, you can just tell about those you have played. ACMoA: Easy missions, easy arenas. The EX arenas can be extremely hard but just go to the parking lot stage and it's easy. Blades are easy to use in there, it's a bit homing when airborne, doesn't cancel when you land. The graphics can use a little more resolution or maybe it's impossible for PS1? ACSL: Hard but rewarding, I thought at first that it's too hard but later on same mission or duel gets easy. I find most weapons hard to hit with even with heavy enemy ACs except the machine gun. It's cool that the light types are best at evasion yet less firepower, while heavies got better offensive yet can't turn as fast make it have some balance. It has the best graphics of all AC games I played, bright and clear. ACLR: I'm new to it, I find it extremely hard, harder than games like Devil May Cry 3. Its graphic is dark, it reminds me of so King of Fighters games, it's hard to see the objects. The menu gives me an uneasy mood, and music in the menu mode got screeching, it makes my brain feel like twitching.
  5. I finished Silent Line and thinkt it's much harder than Master of Arena, now Last Raven, it's much harder than SL. What should I do such in Arenas? I know some basics such as circling and bunny hopping. I used to fight easily with machine guns, but here, they have recharge so not as efficient. Also, I'd like to know a few common builds and play styles and knowing why heavy arms got less recoil reduction than light arms while it's the opposite back in SL; do I get it right?
  6. Would an armored core do good or bad for the world? Good, they're so cool, many people might try become soldiers or mercenaries. Does the world need armored cores? No, there are better alternatives. Are armored cores even an engineering possibility with, say, our current technological breakthroughs? Yeah. What purpose would ACs serve on the battle field? Think about the roles current weapon systems serve and find gaps. Match the best weapons of the opponent(in my dreams). Mascot of the group. An AC can be just a cosmetically better combination of tank and Harrier. No need for limbs because they only for fighting with artillery unlike humans which need it for multiple purposes. The weapons can just be mounted in the body. The AC strategies can be done by a tank or Harrier.
  7. I'd like to share how to defeat him. He must be the strongest in the Arena. He has inhuman accuracy and firepower but at least he do not go for your back. 1. You need an AP and defense build body. 2. Karasawa. 3. The optional part that increases energy weapons' attack power. 4. Maybe optional: No-energy shield, anti shell and energy optional parts. Just keep shooting him without evading, try to put him in the center of the lock-on area. You could beat him with 2k+ AP remaining. Another simplier way is to use the Crow extension part to distrupt his lock-on, it's a cheap way.
