Once the ammo runs out, get in there and let loose with the handguns. One may choose to drop NYMPHE right away or fire a few missiles before doing so. Known Issues: This shares the same tendency towards squishiness all my other ACs have. While it's still fairly quick (446 boost speed when fully loaded), it's a whole lot (60pt difference @_@) slower than my main. The RS3 runs out of ammo pretty quick, which is something I'm still trying to get used to. xD *of course, the upside is that it hits really hard per shot, and besides, sniper rifles weren't meant to be spammed in the first place, right? * PvP Information: Current Vs.   3. Basically, if your AC showed up in a game, what would its theme song be when it shows up to attack the player? I mean, Nineball has 9, and White Glint has his own theme... What would yours be? I'll start~ Kira, true to his feelings - from Gundam SEED Destiny, aka Strike Freedom's theme (besides Vestige, anyway). Even those who hated the direction the writers took it in can't deny the quality of the soundtrack, let alone this song. The rendition isn't half bad either.The 13th Anthology - from Kingdom Hearts, more specifically Yoko Shimomura's Drammatica album. 'Nuff said. Also see , the track on which Anthology is based. - another KH one. Yoko Shimomura is great...Premonition - ...and Nobuo Uematsu isn't too far behind, either.   4. @ KKM I've gotten used to Cronus, maybe more than may be good for me. ^^;; @ Niji On that note, UL2 was my first choice for the core before I changed it back to my usual. I've never really been skilled with OB'ing, and as I said, I've really become used to Cronus as my standard core choice. Which is probably something I'll need to work on in the future. >< Hell, until I learned, Orchid was my main generator, and LX was the only way I knew how to kill things.   5. No, no, you misunderstood. This is for PvP, or I wouldn't have had a reason to conform to RR's tourney rules by ditching TP and H3. It's just that I just came up with it a few days ago, and since there's no other AC player I know who lives nearby (I get to PvP with RR during meets, but that's about it), the next best thing was to go up against the hardest AIs and see what happens.
  6. ^ normally true, yes. Thing is, this AC doesn't burn up easily as it is, and can even fly around a little. I opted to tune accel because I found readjusting to a non-TP booster... difficult, to say the least, and because overheating isn't quite an immediate issue where this design is concerned. That said, tunes for the core and arm parts are now both 5-cooling/5-weight. I've yet to try this out in versus mode, but I was able to beat Daemon in 45secs using this design (as to 1min on my Hunter)

As per RR's tourney rules, the H3 and TP were removed. @_@ Tactics: The funny thing is, this is actually faster than my Hunter even with TP (498 boost speed as opposed to 486). Same tactics apply, only overall I've got a bit more firepower. Missiles are much faster compared to my KARURA-equipped staple. I just put this thing together right now, so I'm kinda scared as to how much different this'll handle compared to the staple I've grown used to. As it is, though, firepower doesn't seem to have dropped much compared to my Hunter, and may even have gone up a bit due to how prone Karura was to missing. I'm just kinda worried how much the (slightly) slower acceleration will hurt. Known Issues: Even squishier than my staple and its derivatives - which weren't known for their tanking abilities to start with. I went for lighter frame parts to compensate for the lost accel from ditching TP, which means that anything that hits me while using this one will hurt even more than it already did. Appearance-wise, I really prefer my usual ones to this one. It's not ugly, not really, but my Hunter was kinda more... sleek and menacing in its looks. @_@ PvP Information: None yet, though I may try this out next meet. Current Vs.   8. Hey there... ^^ This one just happened to catch my attention... Was rather pleasantly surprised to find someone else with the same focus on close combat as me. I've never used shotties, if only because I find it tricky to land full blasts on opponents. For the most part, though, we share the same approach... Though in my case I use Karura instead of Harpy2, and relation missiles instead of side shields. Personally I'd find the Harpy2+Wyvern combo (EN shotgun, right?) rather painful on EN consumption >< I'd suggest an MG instead of a shotty, probably M2 or any of the Pixies. Being able to make your opponent burn himself out helps big time xD If I may ask, why S2 and not H3? For that matter, I'd hanger a right-hand H3 as well.... Or is it banned there, too? From the video, you also happen to be more prudent with your ammo than I usually am. Personally I'd probably end up wasting most of the shotgun's ammo >< EDIT: What're the tunes on this thing, btw?

This one excels against tanks in particular, but is only fairly decent against everything else. I usually spam orbits and micros first - especially against heavies - before going to town with the dual MGs. In other words, this thing relies on the same tactics as my Hunter, but with the added EOs. That said, my Hunter outclasses this one when it comes to the rushdown. Chose Spirit over Karasawa because of advantages in atk/ammo/heat. I focused more on looks - in terms of aesthetics, this is probably my sexiest design. That said, this thing's fairly usable in actual combat as well... at least, assuming whoever's using it doesn't squander his shots. I tried KONGOH and G91 for this one before deciding to stick with LOTUS, which isn't quite as prone to genbusting as the previous two choices. As for the generator, possible choices are R92, ANANDA and HAZEL2. Same tactics as used on my Hunter apply here as well, with the small difference that energy is a bit of a bigger issue this time around. Optionals: Solid/EN defense, braking, stability, condenser cap, (Succubus only) energy attack/firing consumption, (Dorothy only) cooling CnC would be highly appreciated
  10. Actually, no they don't. ^^ Only Harpy1, and only one of those are allowed on an AC. This one's for friendly matches, though Harpy2 gets switched out for Harpy1 if/when I take this thing to tourneys. They were actually the ones who taught me about OCs against tanks. More than anything else, though, it was the 'witch' theme that guided this design.

Of course, given the low ammo count on both the RL and the Karasawa AND the Spirit (especially the latter two), it'd take a really good pilot to be able to be able to win duels using this thing. As a mission mode AC...? No. Just... no. Tactics: This one's about as straightforward as they come - RL/Karasawa/Spirit sniping all the way. It's really up to the pilot to make the shots count, and not to run out of energy in the process. Known Issues: I really wouldn't recommend trying this design out unless the one doing so is reasonably confident in his skills. True, it has hangered weapons just in case, but those are more of a last resort than anything else. Also taking into account how squishy this particular design is, one would have to be at least an advanced level pilot to be able to use this one well. PvP Information: Current Vs.   14. ^ Generally I'd keep the orbits if possible, this *is* primary tank eater design after all. Karura can go, though... Every single one of my current stable already equips one or two of those Was fiddling around with Satyros earlier as a possible replacement, actually =3 Gaea's actually pretty good, too. Now all that's left is to get used to the slightly higher EO energy drain.
  15. @ TMR: Mayfly was just random, actually, though it's not bad-looking either. ) Though if it was looks I was going for, I'd have gotten Queen or something else. @ Niji: That's about right. EO+dual MG rushdown ftw~ =3 NIX is there cuz I couldn't think of anything else. I can't handle FINGERs to save my life, and my Hunter already uses handguns. Another choice I have for the left hand weapon was that gatling gun MG (can't recall the name), but NIX has the most ammo out of all the available left hand MGs. *and I haven't played NB, how was NIX different there?*
