If you are a Raven, I welcome you to my lair, if you are a LYNX, then I would welcome you, but first, ACKNOWLEDGE the NORMAL's superiority!

 

So, this is a recollection fo my most emminent designs. My aim with the designs here is to create a core that's competitive, but that at the same time, retains a peculiar aesthetic taste.

 

That aesthetic taste is what sometimes downgrades my ACs a bit. But hell, just see for yourself.

-----DESCRIPTION-----

 

This is the 13th or 14th revision of my old staple Armored Core, Heaven Blaze.

Indeed, that's a friggin amount of changes, but as I always say: "This AC is my love"

It matches my fighting style rather well, and I just love the idea of rapid fire weaponry matched with speed.

 

 

 

-----TACTICS-----

 

The tactics aren't that complicated with him. Just start the match when possible with a few RM2 missile salvoes to get an early AP lead. If your foe's got a

 

decoy dispenser though,it might prove near to useless...

When the extensions drop dry, it means that it's time to meet the HEAT of action and go kick some ass with your guns.

The 69M can be used as a viable tool of poking or distracting, so don't forget it's here.

 

 

-----ISSUES-----

 

Stability. That's the one real problem you'll meet when going versus people with high stun power.

This bot fares well enough agaisnt the other dominant archetypes though. It's got enough AP and Armor to withstand damage, and it's got enough speed to match most bots' movements.

This is the 10th or so revision of my secondary AC, Alastor. This time, I'm swaying a bit from the original design. I'm focussing more on a gameplay of "hide and seek" and "keep away". I've got some inspiration for that bot after watching over and over Oliver's matches. This could be considered as a lightweight variant of his bot. But if it fares as well, I don't really know.

 

-----TACTICS-----

 

You're not a close range brawler, you're not a long range fighter. You're meant to stay at the boundary between medium and close range (200-300 units). KRSW should not be fired randomly, press the trigger only when you're sure you'll hit. Decoys are limited, but should do a fine job at intercepting those missile spammers.

The blade is just to use whenever the other guy hard lands, or does a predictable movement within your blade waves' reach.

 

 

-----ISSUES-----

 

You need ot have a cool head and good piloting skills to sucessfully play with that AC, and good judgement as well.

It's poor defenses will leave you vulnerable if you don't play correctly.

The all rounded lightweight of my team, funnily he's as fast as the team's middleweight...

His weapon loadout stresses rapid fire a but like Heaven's Blaze, but his HP can actually stun, and his ample supply of bullets in the PIXIE2 should be more than enough to kill your foe...

 

-----TACTICS-----

 

As poking weapon, this bot uses the famous Vertical Missiles. If you're in an arena with a low rooftop, just hurry up and drop those... (Or fire them with one lock only, as it'll be enough to shoot those RM2 extension.

You can decide to spam missiles either at the start or after having damaged your opponent's core.

 

 

-----ISSUES-----

 

It's a lightweight with not much defense... Well, that's to be expected. Also, the speed isn't very lightweightish, until you drop the RM2 that is.

-----DESCRIPTION-----

 

An AC based on sheer fire power, this bot delivers an "explosive" sting to the enemy.

Really, there's just one way to describe him: Grenade Spam.

 

-----TACTICS-----

 

Middle Range is your best friend, (stay near 200 or a bit less) but don't go trigger happy. Shots should be fired when you're sure you've got real chances to hit. (when someone's landing, in a boost hop, or when you hear that OB "clack" sound, fire immediately)

This AC can easily frighten inexperienced players as well, due to the sheer amount of explosions that may be going around.

 

Nade em to death. Alternate use between the two Grenade launchers to make confuse people as much as possible. This works pretty well, sometimes, people might be wondering wether it's two simultaeneous, a single, or two consecutive grenades that will end up on them.

 

This wrecks havoc.

 

-----KNOWN ISSUES-----

 

People might tend to juke your lockbox easily... Be careful. You need to know how to keep your opponents in your crosshairs.
