Hey, I'm new and have a question about scan mode!

Hey everyone,

I thought about putting this in the intro section, but I have a question to go along with my introduction. I got ACV on Tuesday, and joined ACU wing 1 on wednesday I think. This is the first AC game I've played, so the past few days has been quite the learning experience. Anyway, I've played quite a bit with Khraze and bluegg, and they have been a huge help getting me up to speed with how the game works... thanks guys!

I also played a few duels with 01 in wing 1, I don't remember your name, just your number sorry! Anyway, he whooped on me and gave me several good pointers. I have come up with a high mobility high defense medium AC that I think is pretty decent based on the info I have gottten from everyone so far. Before this though, while 01 was whooping on me, he said that he was scanning me and finding which elements my defenses were weak against. Subsequently, I thought "well of course I should be doing that too!" This is where my question stems from. I go to scan an opponent, and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get their stat/TE/CE/KE defense breakdown. I looked in the parts shop and didn't see anything that straight up says "use this to see enemy weaknesses." Soooo, my question is, how and what do I need to scan and find enemy weaknesses!?

Thank everyone!

Hey JackRabbit, it's me 33. Glad you decided to hit up the forum. Yeah I'm learning more and more just how important the three defense types are, the impact on the way they play out is immense, before ACV you just had to worry about shell and energy defense.
