Masakan Posted April 12, 2012 Report Share Posted April 12, 2012 So i just got my preorder yesterday and I love this game, but I'm starting to see that TE weapons pretty much dominate and kinetic weapons are practially useless. Aokiryu89 Posted April 12, 2012 Report Share Posted April 12, 2012 You got it wrong, right now the Gatling Gun USG-23/H, a Kinetic weapon, is the dominating power in PVP. TE weapons are good against everything except for Heavy Weight Bipeds and Tanks. (TE defense parts are the heaviest in the game.) Don't underestimate snipers and shotguns either. Snipers will rip through anything, and Shotguns have stun and good close range damage. Favorite combination for close range would be a Shotgun and a Pulse Gun. Then when facing heavy opponents, use a CE Battle Rifle or Sniper with rifle or Gatling Gun. None of the weapons are particularly Useless. CE and TE armor types can be stacked through the Roof while KE defense can easily be ripped through by Snipers and Gatling despite the fact that they are Kinetic weapons.
