star destroyer crashed in desert was best part. Also the thing the falcon is flying into at the end looks like a super star destroy vaguely but probably not. iirc there was only one and it nose-dived into the death star?

Well there was only one built for the movies. J.J. could easily just go "So the Empire built more Super Star Destroyers...." Which they did, in the expanded universe that is no longer canon.

I bet part of the outcome would be unimaginable amounts of women being both pregnant and dead simultaneously.

in the movie yeah, but in the books that expanded the series more SSDs were built for Imperial warlords. At least, in most of the books anyways.

This was the most emotionally draining film I have ever watched.

It was ok.

Better than the "prequels" but there's still a lot not to like.

To sum it up:

Great because it actually felt like a Star Wars film. I think the new cast members were great and the atmosphere of the whole film was on point.

Loses points because I feel this is what a multiverse fanfiction of the original trilogy would look like.

It was okay. Definitely felt a little contrived at points.

Nobody has posted since the last star wars movie?

Anyways, I thought the newest movie was good. Would it have been better if the Luke scene wasn't a hologram, but that he actually blocked all those lasers with sheer force power, and had an actual lightsaber fight with Kylo? Then turn into force energy like Obi did once the others escaped or maybe he himself escaped but weakened? I don't know, I guess the way it went is still good since it represents the light side and it ultimately defends without attacking at all as it's best merit.

No, I have not fallen to the derp side of the force or anything. Mockery leads to absurdity, absurdity leads to triggering, triggering leads to...the DERP side of the farce.
