The animations seem a lot better from what I saw in the livestream, especially the weapon switching. Also holy fuck the bar that was on the back of that AC was actually a weapon arm cannon.

Dark Souls II doesn't even have the director that made DeS and DkS a success, i feel like they're not taking it as seriously. I wonder if Miyazaki is working on this instead.

Ehh, that seems to be the consensus post-fA. Tactics and strategy are OP.
It was like that in 4/fA too, taking cover behind things like the highway structures on that one map was deemed unfair, because the proper way to play the game is overboosting around in the open at 3000 kph, shooting dual sniper rifles and missiles at each other.

Nothing is perfect. You can shoot at a tanks treads today and make them come off, immobilizing the tank. But we still use them.
Tanks don't fall over when the tread is damaged, and while it takes a significant amount of time, treads can be repaired in the field.
Now how is an extremely heavy bipedal machine lying face down in the field going to be repaired?

Given that Namdai doesn't own From Software, I find that unlikely. The second From stops making games Namdai cares about, they'll just stop publishing for them. Which wouldn't be a problem in Japan, since From self-publishes the games they release there, but it'd hurt the chances of us getting anything new, especially after the way they haven't been able to find a steady publisher for AC since Agetec stopped localizing the games.
