  1. EDIT: fuck that this thing has no HDMI.

What do you call that little HDMI shaped port on the back below (to the right, depending) the standard 360 a/v port? You know, the one that says "HDMI" next to it?

Also, TM, 360 power supply is external.

  2. ah yes PPC's, nothing like having an en weapon where the ammo actually tracks something.

Off Topic: you guys should download MW4 if you don't have it already.

Tracks? The PPC is direct fire. You're thinking of that bastardization of the PPC in Mechassault.

  3. My laptop used to get near 3 hours, which isn't the ZOMG 10 HOURS thing the iPad gets, but it was decent. It's getting old now and dying faster, but that's just what Li-Ion batteries do with age. I can, however, change that battery without sending it in and losing my laptop for 3 weeks, which is a plus.
  4. Gauss to the Head is still the most awesome though, that, or an ER Large Laser Kill at 1200 meters!

That is pretty awesome, seeing as the ER Large Laser has a max range of 1000 in MW3.

  5. I wouldn't have thouht so either, I had the luck to be standing still and took a step back just to get away from the attacking Bushwhacker. And yeah, meant to add that. So you don't know which gearbwas in what MFB until one gets destroyed.... Anyway, is the ultra ac20 that ridiculously awesom? Because I have one, and what I THINK is a decent amount of ammo for it. Huh.

*sigh* I want Pirate's Moon Expansion, but BitTorrent is gay and doesn't work on my laptop so I can't torrent it. The only other one I got was a .zip file that didn't work because it tried to use a file on the MechWarrior 3 CD that didn't exist. Do you have any idea where I can get the Pirate's Moon expansion for <$30? Also, if I were to get the CD from, say, EBay, could I just install Pirate's Moon and run MW3 as normal, or would I have to run it through Pirate's Moon?

The UAC20 is probably the most powerful short range weapon in MW3. It fires fast, each shot causes the enemy 'Mech to recoil with the hit, and its damage is focused on one part unlike the LBX. It's seriously cheap.

Pirate's Moon is an expansion, but has to be run sepearately. If you want to play PM, you need the PM disc. If you want to play MW3, you need the MW3 disc.

  6. Don't forget that if one of your MFBs are destroyed, that's it. You've lost 300 tons of salvage and storage, which could have been your all-powerful UltraAC20, or the super rare ammo for it.

While I loved 3, I still think Mechwarrior 2 was the best one.

Also, I didn't know you could stop a fall.

  7. Cappucino cups are pretty wide. This is ideal for their mouths. They just gotta bite the cup and tilt their head. Not too tricky. Sorta like when you do shots without your hands at a bar...or wherever I guess.

Maid does'em in her bedroom if I remember right.

Only when I'm bored or too lazy to use my hands.

  8. Oh, ok, so you're not an OB user.

Just was a suggestion, and I know that you didn't make it last night, but my suggestions were just aiming at giving this bot some more versatiliy... you don't lose anything if you replace the XS arms with something else as your EN Drain is already pretty low...

But I'll take in the note you don't like OB now.

Let's say I change it to Lemur, like you said. I go from a respectable 482 Kph to a pitiful, for this AC's purpose, 439. Unacceptable. Like I said. This AC is complete, I really can't make it any better, I've tried. It's just for you kids to view.

Dual MG close combat AC, was pretty much the first AC I completed in LR. Had a pretty good Kai record with this one too, been a while though.

Suggest all you want, as far as I'm concerned this AC is finished.

Became my main AC in LR after a time, had a pretty good run with it on Kai too. Nothing much to say, close combat standard core.

I'm posting it just to show, not to change. I'm happy with it as-is, like all my LR ACs.

  11. @_@ quit after -19 lives. Got to the end of level 1 twice and I kept dying to a falling bomb that I couldn't dodge.

Jump over the pole, let the bomb thing fall past, then use the pole as normal.

  12. Or something a bit like that.

I do find it funny though that bullets impacting on the OUTER armor can heat up the INNER ARMOR.

Really, the generator should be protected from everything, incliding heat. (Except when it's the environment)

Maybe replace heat with... actually, coming to think of it, let's replace heat with FUEL.

No fuel. That's part of the reason I didn't like Chrome Hounds. It adds an unneccessary time limit to missions.

I do hope we get lock boxes though.
