  1. Wait what, the reset did NOTHING aside "repairing" 10k+ territories for you to farm? People still have all the territories they had before, if you want to conquest a 10k one you still have to pray that humans are willing at this very moment to risk it and overall not a single other thing has changed, alongside 1.03 still being jp-only?

What kind of a Season 2 is this? Absolutely nothing was achieved, conquer is still absolutely nothing but looking at "Waiting // 3:00:00" and in the end, what is it now which forces us players to "come back"?

  2. S-Rank is based off of the profit you make from a mission. This can vary as some missions have less total money to get so the ranks are scaled accordingly. Now if you are asking about specific missions; Order's are almost always the easiest to S rank as they have very little total AU to get so it makes it easy. Story Missions are the bane of my existence as some I have S-ranked on my first run through, while currently story 05, 03, and another one that i can't remember are laughing hysterically at me as i flounder into B's and A's over and over. I know completing as many sub-quests will add extra money to your total so getting as many of those done is key but thats when ammo and damage start to sky rocket and can potentially ruin your chances. Take 03, all you have to do is slowly kill mines, gas barrels, missile pods, weak lasers, and suicidal MT's, BUT still do it under 10k damage, within 10min (maybe its five i dont remember right now) and use as little ammo as possible. Gathering the 3 scraps will help but barley. The worst part is having to deal with the L.L.L. at the end as i have gotten to it with less than 1k damage and ended with him adding 8k+.

Overall the only thing i have figured is that you should try to solo. Its frustrating to say the least but just keep hammering it out till it happens. Right now with what current knowledge we have its just a matter of persistence.

I shall serve you with following:

Build the cheapest AC possible, instead of repair-costs of 170-200k we will talk about numbers around 50k, so it's 5000 times easier to S-rank anything because you are allowed to take 4 times as much damage as usually to get the respective rank... (of course you also take more damage from attacks, so 4 times isn't a correct calculation,) just by testing it you will experience the increased easiness without any delay.

What you equip is your choice, there are always multiple parts of the same repair cost-value. I usually choose dual gatlings+magazine case+etc.

Also it should be taken into consideration to equip light rev joint legs instead of the cheapest legs you can find, sometimes, because the cheaper med and light bipedal legs let you jump as high as a hippo.

  3. Nah, once you reach team level 50 all parts in the game are available in the shop, besides the overed weapons. The scrap parts you find are just standard parts with a random affinity set to them when you pick them up.

Strange... I'm damned sure I only got the gatling after collecting all scraps from mission 2.

Well, good to know then, I guess you know what you are talking about.

  4. Yes, there are parts which have to be found/unlocked by completing story mode, subquests, etc.

S-rank is hard because no one knows how exactly to get it; in some cases it's piss easy, in others you play 10 times better than god ever could and the game rewards you with B for absolutely no reason.

Subquests, yes, some even really require multiple playthroughs of a mission. Getting them done is a pretty easy task, you just have to search a bit for certain things and use well chosen builds.

  5. I think I will have to import the japanese version too.

The EU servers are absolutely inactive, especially starting a stronghold is just praying to god that at least one other person is online and pray even harder that he is selecting your area to attack.

Also every single player is either a complete newbe or plays like one, precisely the Free Matches are in all cases over within 10 seconds, even if I play a Moonlight blade/Jammer fun-build.

Can anyone confirm that the japanese region is as active as one could desire? If not... is it the US region?

    thanks in advance

  6. I think Mercenaries is the only part in this game which does not work out that well.

The guys with low ranks and high negative numbers are the ones which accept all jobs, clean the floor fast and play fast ACs (mid/low weight/low jew joint).

The guys ranked highly are the snipers, accepting only Order or certain Invasion missions, rarely actually helping properly, rather just paying uttermost attention to not get damaged themselves.

(While you will rather pay attention to speed, as Minor Damage is always easy to get by yourself and afterwards it will only lead to a bit more money in your pocket, money which you won't need anymore at all after having played for ~5 hours.)

And what's especially annoying is the fact that C/D rank can be -any- kind of player, you should at least be able to see how many missions he already has beaten... parts prove nothing as you have access to everything if you join a level 50+ team, so hiring someone will result easily in you seeing him boosting in circles, having no idea where to go or what to do.

And though if you want to S rank a mission or to succeed in certain subquests you will most likely want to do it alone... the leader should be able to cancel cutscenes by himself. There is NOTHING as nerve-racking as watching 3 minutes long cutscenes at the beginning of a speedrun just because the other player does not know what the start button is and where you find it.

Mercenaries should rather be ranked by the ranks of the missions they were in (rank bonus when speaking of invasions and i.e. S when speaking of Order or Story missions), not by how well they (and only they) avoided damage. Not even speaking of the fact that they literally steal money from you by killing certain enemies from a safe spot while you do nothing but making their spot actually safe.

  7. But to return to post #1.

How do you fight all the other ultra enemies?

Do you have to be online at a certain time? Have certain territories? A certain amount of S-ranks/subquests?

Singleplayer-wise there is basically nothing left for me to get, yet I haven't seen any of the hidden ACs.

  8. Situation 2

    under 10k

    I'm pretty sure it's under 20k.

Not only the video states 10-20k as a possible AP number, also he actually was damaged by a total of about 18k.

I'm still a bit... confused about the fact that there is no Zodiac #1.

    > It's once again DLC-time I guess; while I actually wouldn't mind, I really like AC5.

  9. Yes it's me.

I would also post crispy ACV videos but due to region-lock and me being new to the community it's hard to find any opponent who isn't a disaster at playing well (to do satisfying 1on1-fights). Also it's enough of an MMO for the ladders to be filled with lame noob-raiders rather than good/fair players.

So I came to this board here :( .

  10. The city has to be reached within 5 minutes, you can ignore all opponents aside the scavengers (and you should, as the 1 mobile AC and the one support AC under the bridge make you lose time indubitably).

If you need to be damaged less than 10k AP I can't confirm.

    Love the reward.

  11. I started with AC5 but I don't play like a newbe; looking forward to cooperate with active, good players.

Players who know how to help properly when needed and who can differ between a fun/train match and "please let's play ranked, elseway it's wasted time" (Free Match). So we can do some Laser Sword duels i.e.

  12. Not sure if it's glitched or not, but 30 seconds for the train is really bad thinking about the speed you delivered in the run before, maybe this triggers the police officer to appear.

Using shotguns or KE missiles lets you destroy the train easily within 5 seconds, if needed you can also kick it away, will damage you most likely though.

    story mission 04:

-destroy all enemy units excluding hi-mobility flying units

-take less than 10k ap damage

-not sure of time limit, but ASAP to be safe

the zodiac will replace the police captain in the city

Tried it multiple times and couldn't succeed in getting the Zodiac, always trying to do it a bit faster but the birds simply -refuse- it to die fast.

Read on a japanese page also that you have to reach the city within 1,5 minutes, couldn't make it in that time till now.

Also regarding mission 6, you can take double as much damage as you wrote, in either task.

Just thinking, you get the "minor damage" achievement if either player beats the damage limit... so probably you can trick the zodiacs by one player simply following the other, taking 0 damage, while #1 kills everything without regret?
