Well, is the lack of patch support the real turn off, or did others have problems like me and just find things a bit too broken to salvage?

I've been jumping between Wing 1 and 2 to see if there are more active people when I log on... so far nothing. The one time I did see others in Wing 1, some of them don't seem to have ever left the lobby to start a mission. :
EDIT: Also. Wing 1. OUR TERRITORIES HAVE GONE TO THE DOGS. We need to do some team stomping... more regularily.

This 20-person cap per team is understandable (mostly given the team/world map interface)... but kinda sucks as it is fragmenting our community slightly.
...Arguably, I'm not really getting into this generation much. If Wing 1 fills up I'll drop into Wing 2 or something and let more active people play.

Basically... are there any parts you absolutely have to find in missions that can't be bought? Mainly, I'm asking because the story mode feels like such a bore in this game.
2nd part:
S-ranking seems really hard? I don't know how anyone could finish all these sidequests in story mode in time (don't most of these missions also have a 5-min or less 'sidequest') unless you had run through the mission already multiple times and had memorized everything?
Overall, the game seems alright, but I don't think I'm enjoying it as much as the previous generations. It's probably better in many respects as compared to the ludicrous speed of AC4/FA but something doesn't feel right when I'm playing the game.

I'd love to... but I was in Japan last year, and I bought a few games. It does turn out that the language barrier is a bit too much for me to overcome.
I won't be importing. Don't own me too hard when the game finally comes out in NA.

Should I get in on this? I participated in the Beta, and even then it felt like an amazing game, but... like... I dunno... I kinda like realism, but I wonder if it's too much for this kind of game...

You guys know that FromSoft has talked about a sequel to Demon's Souls?
I wonder... if they'll let you import your character... and then rather than have you fight a super boss designed to kill you, they'll have some crazy boss that uses SoulSucker on you and resets you back to what your class' starting stats were.
XD...

Well, I got AC3P since I was too lame to wait for a PSN sale, and it's pretty fun.
It's kinda annoying sometimes when you have to aim at shit (the only button changes I made were strafe right and left to stick, and turn to shoulders.), but I'll live.
I have no idea what the good parts are though. XD
There's no AC2 bs where one of the cheaper boosters is the better one... is there?

:P)Btw Brit, Hakumen gets a new C attack in BB:CS that seems to have a good amount of range and launches fast.
Plus most if not all C attacks are chargeable, and when hit by a charged C, causes stun.
Oh, and now I think counter wonrks on projectiles and summons a black hole of sorts.

Well, I've played with a ton of people with heavy British accents, a bunch of French speakers who didn't know a word of english, one random Japanese dude, probably some Spanish people too.
Given that I live in Canada, this could be par for the course and they all live here, but lag seems to be a non-issue for MAG. I'll go out on a limb and say they're from the U.K., France, Japan, and Spain?

I'm an Energy user. Bullets stink.
Laser Rifles, Laser Cannons, Hi-Laser Cannons are my domain.
Due to my heavy emphasis on energy weapons, I'm a hit-and-run fighter. A lot of Jousting and when the opportune moment arises, BAM. Lasers in your face. Or back.
Then I flee for my life.

Well, I might get by some of the game's flaws had the community not gotten fragmented by the 20-person limit per team. It's just irritating to be unable to play cooperatively with others (freelance... isn't quite it.) on the other Wing teams as a result.
As for mech games... I jumped over to MechWarrior Online. I'm a longtime mechwarrior fan too, so hopefully i'll get a mech customization fix out of that.
