  1. From what I can recall, hasn't the Moonlight been in pretty much every single iteration of the franchise? I would be a little surprised if it was missing in ACV. But then again, I was surprised there wasn't a Karasawa in AC4/FA (unless you count the Canopus...which I don't, although I suppose it was similar in behavior). Bringing back the Karasawa name and [overall] behavior for ACV would be a very cool thing to see. As far as the decay rate is concerned...I hope that has more to do with damage output decreasing over distance with KE damage, and not CE (or whatever explosive damage is). It's been said already, but applying a damage decay to an explosive doesn't seem like it would a whole lot of sense. If it has more to do with weapon durability (like in LR), I'd be fine with that as long as it's implemented in a non-annoying way. But I think it would be more interesting if the decay rate had to do with scaling damage through range.
  2. Goddamn those tank legs are badass. It looks like they've really changed the overall game mechanics quite a bit. I'm definitely interested...hopefully the changes will be for the best. From what I saw in the live demo, it looks like they will. I'm not a very big fan of DLC though. Well, it depends on what the content is, how much of it there is (and the quality), and how much it costs (hopefully nothing!). Guess I'll just have to wait and see.
  3. Yes, absolutely. The regulations was one of the cooler features I really enjoyed seeing in AC4. I'd be surprised if they didn't employ the same process for AC5.
  4. Heh, ROZ for life! I honestly don't think I ever used any of the other generators in AC3/SL. Except for maybe the VE905 on occasion. I think I would sorta like to see a large number of parts just so there won't be so many cookie-cutter designs, but it really depends on how well they are balanced. And therein lies the problem; more parts, harder to balance them all out. If FR will take the time to work on their part balancing then maybe we'll all be pleasantly surprised. Part tuning (sorta like was done in NX/LR) might help with that a little bit though.
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if the 'V' was some sort of cheesy play on an emphasis of the violence theme. Sounds like something FROM would come up with.
  6. Awesome, new news . I was wondering when there'd be another update. The focus on more tactical gameplay in multiplayer sounds interesting actually. Granted I have never had a chance to actually play any sort of multiplayer AC before, but a sort of COOP mode sounds like it'd would be a lot of fun. As long as the vanilla versus modes are still intact too. The 2012 US/EU release date is a little disheartening but not really surprising (provided that information is accurate). I'm certainly looking forward to it
  7. Your very welcome! I'm playing through SLp right now (and taking pictures of the hidden parts) so I'll probably be updating this sometime in the near future
  8. So I suppose this is probably a weird place to start for my first post here, but hopefully it'll be a useful one I was having a really hard time trying to find a cohesive and descriptive hidden parts guide for the ACp series. I was able to find bits and pieces here and there but no one single guide, so that was a little frustrating. To add to my frustration, I had almost as hard of a time finding hidden parts guides for SL/LR, which I wouldn't have thought would be a problem . I eventually found all the information I needed except that it was scattered across multiple sources. So for the past few days I've been working on compiling a hidden parts guide for the Armored Core Portable series. And I just finished it up tonight! This guide covers all three games (AC3p, Slp, LRp). There are still some things I need to add and fix [probably] so it's still a little rough around the edges. The SLp and LRp sections are sorta bare at the moment since I need to go through the games myself to add more content. But I think it will get the job done for now. Instead of posting it as a massive wall of text, I've uploaded the .txt file on my webspace. You can grab it below: Armored Core Portable Hidden Parts Guide Let me know if this was useful to any of you! If you guys find any inaccuracies, misspellings, or anything of that nature, please let me know. Since I threw the guide together so quickly, I would not be surprised if there are a bunch of mistakes . Also if your willing to contribute some information or tips or anything that the guide may be lacking, please do so! And lastly, please feel free to distribute this guide as you please. I've sent it in to Gamefaqs for each of the three games so hopefully it will show up there soon as well.
