    • Would an armored core do good or bad for the world?

I would have to say good.

    • Does the world need armored cores?

Yes. Todays weapons are too low tech by now.

    • Are armored cores even an engineering possibility with, say, our current technological breakthroughs?

    Yes.

    • What purpose would ACs serve on the battle field? Think about the roles current weapon systems serve and find gaps.

They would be good to use against aircraft or giant weapons of mass destruction (ex. alien ships.)

    aliens really

i have thought this over for a long time now and really the only place and AC would be needed is super dense deep mud jungles or extremely mountainous terrain. that's it period end of story.

  1. No and in rebuttal though be it late. (I was derping around KSP forum)

I choose argos for there tactical advantage, not for any other reason. I hate furrys because 99% of them are gay anal loving re res that try to convince you tearing your colon to oblivion is not wrong >:(

and you being military minded, (from what i have seen of you) you should know what im talking about.

  2. Like i said its just a proto.

I will make some arms and R joints for it later, and fix the head.

No mater what in the beginning it would just do back flips, the first two pics where the first attempt and the last two was about 10 edits latter so a biped is going to SUCK

    but I'll try.

  3. PS I only use modes for the plane parts(because it gives you cargo bays). I dont have any for crazy over powered rockets nor do i use infina fuel or this crazy cheating mod called mechjeb if your to incompetent to fly what you make you need to start smaller.

Going to Eve is pretty easy, yeah. More so with modded parts. Like I said in my earlier post, most of the difficulty of the game revolves around simply getting into orbit around Kerbin.

If you want to brag about being not a noob though, you'll have to at least make a modless, mechjebless Eve landing and return craft/system and successfully fly all of it. That's really about the only thing in the game that carries any significant difficulty nowadays. Mostly due to the mission and stage planning that goes into it, though somewhat due to rocket design and flight.

Ever since they added in the maneuver point system and super buff ASAS most of the difficulty of the game has been wiped out though. Hopefully adding in tech-trees in the next patch will help give the game some difficulty though, since people can set tech limits more easily and then compete under those limits.

UU I did that before I even had mods theirs no modes on that one. http://imgur.com/a/jg8qe#0

The last four is the launch vehicle for that rover on eve, ( I was still new to the game back then and never really needed all that RCS.)

  4. http://imgur.com/a/Ee68e#0

just some basic stuff i have done in game. Heck i went to the mun over 30 times in the demo alone.

I also have a 300+ part station an amphibious rover and a plane that can go over 2.111 m/s @ 31.000 (and yes that rover on that purple sand.... that's eve. yes i have gone to other planets.)

    just saying.

    hurm hum .........noobs

  5. lets start it back UP! OFF TOPIC( this entire forum is sadly, very dead i guess theres just not alot to talk about AC :( tis a shame when you leave for a long time and you still have stuff on the first page.

whens the USA date? I've heard every thing from as close as 9-26 to this fall. does any one know 100%

P,s its good to see that there is someone that still cares about this other then me. Keep up the good work Fallen!

  6. Well havent really worked on it, give you the facts though! :)

Its a pillow that when the victim falls in to REM sleep arm's/tenticals incase the victims head and pulling him/her in to the pillow.

It then slowly digests the person when they wake up in turn makeing the pillow softer! :D

  7. MY style I would have to say MQC just overlaping the outer most edge of both CQC and LQC.

Im more of a jumper going with the lightest frame I can have while still being able to fit the weapons, generator and boosters I want.

But when I say jumper I dont mean R joints, I rely heavily on QB (quick boost), Glide/ over boost, and flying manuvers to dodge attacks and staying above, behind, or out of site of my target. In my world speed is king.

I'm not going to tell you all the setups I used for all the games (That would take way to long) so here is what I use in ACV.

Weapons. I normaly have a rifle, battle rifle, mini gun, lowest energy consumption pulse MG, and CE AS (auto seek) missles.

My FCS is normaly a W&S (wide and shallow) while still haveing enough range to see you from a disance. I rarely use blades unless I know there is going to be something slow and big I have to blow up. (like the trains) always useing the moonlight.

But Im also very adaptable some times useing sniper cannons and UWs if the mission needs so.

Im like that rabit that jumps around looking to get ya when youre in the middle of something else. ;)

If there is one method that defines my style the most if would be flanking. My style, similar to what Virv said at the beginning has been defined by the idea that if you can't hit me than I win. Understanding the mechanics of movement and being quick on my feet has been something that I practice. Being able to read the opponent is equally important as well as being able to predict and understand the intentions behind their movement and ultimately the mindset of the other player in order to apply the appropriate counter movement, either proactively or reactivity.

“The greatest enemy will hide in the last place you would ever look.”

    Julius Caesar

    YES

if you can't hit me than I win.

    A thousand times YES!

  8. Hmm maybe but the sites insanly strict about the format and (sadly for me because you all know how I suck at this) the grammer and tone you use.

Thought it was a good idea to join and write about stuff that doent exist while working on my grammer :D

I do have a story in the works about a cariniverous pillow  If thats anything to you guys.

  9. :( Come on guys I know there not epic storys, but the formating makes you think it's real ( thou be it not, or aleast in my eyes). Ever one has a right to an opinon, I just thought it would do better over here than this.
