Bag of Peanuts

Bag of Peanuts (1/11)

  1. With the arrival of good weather, work has resumed on my project car. Last year I took care of rear leaf springs, shocks on all corners, and a bitchin' new sway bar setup. This is a car in good enough working order that I can drive it between upgrades and the usual massive component failure that seems to plague me once every summer. Just replaced a faulty ignition switch, then tore out the rest of the steering column to order a newer, firmer, heavier-feeling steering gear. In the near future I will be ordering a set of front springs: http://static.summitracing.com/global/images/prod/large/dcc-5249158.jpg After that will be the set of subframe connectors and torque boxes I have had for a couple years. My area has no welders that aren't flakes. I may just learn to MIG and slap them on/ruin everything myself, haha. Anybody else have a project? Butts, how's the Honda?
  2. Subquests just net you a trophy, I think. There are parts in Story Missions to be picked up, including pieces required to build the Huge Missile. Whether any of them are worth it is up to you. I think the Battle Rifle picked up in Story Mission 00 is pretty decent. I'd like anyone's advice on how to get Subquest 2 on Order Mission 54. It requires you to defeat all enemies in two minutes or less. This is the last S-Rank/Subquest I need for the Order Missions and I've been trying for an hour or two. Frustrating! Thanks in advance. EDIT: Nevermind, I got it. If this is posing a problem for anyone else, I recommend Autocannons and Tank Legs and a bit of luck. Never thought of that setup... -__-'
  3. Not sure about bullets, artillery shells, and jamming fields, but a misplaced boost kick can kill a teammate as quickly and easily as it can kill an opponent. Keep those Falcon Knees in check, gentlemen.
  4. Great point, Moon Walker. I bet participating in a match with a team like that would be exhilarating! I think what you're describing are the show-boaters, and I dislike them, too. However, I can really respect some of the less douche-y lone wolves out there. Okay guys, here's a question I have not been able to answer through lurking harder, better, faster, or stronger. It's for all of you who imported: Does Team Level raise as quickly as it did in the demo? And am I correct in assuming that all parts become available by the time you reach Team Level 50? My hope is to have my build a little more optimized by the time I go competitive, and I don't mind grinding story missions until I unlock my Pile Bunkers at Level 48.
  5. HA! I plan on being a one-man team, then, until I can contribute more than no kills and fast deaths to the rest of the class. I've heard of teammates being able to trade AC designs, weapons, etc... Can they also trade emblems? I'd love to churn out a few memorable pics with the help of more skilled decal artists. The Flying Hellfish insignia from the Simpsons, a FOXHOUND emblem, Jake or Finn from Adventure Time, basically, any cheesy stuff that anyone could think of because I have no imagination.
  6. Fantastic! Thanks for the prompt reply. I'll work this in to my training regimen.
  7. Dear Niji, I'm not sure if it was in this thread, but you mentioned Kick Combos a few days ago. Just a few posts ago, you again mention your skill at killing people with kicks. Would you mind elaborating? I'm inclined to believe you mean something more akin to the chain kicking you displayed on your YouTube post of the demo level, but I'm worried (and I do tend to overthink things) that you've stumbled on to some mechanic stretching godliness here. I don't want you Shin-Robo-Shoryukening my sorry ass so please, spill the beans.
