  1. Ok, that doesn't sound too bad, thanks GP. A few questions about what you said. That's pretty cool, but is there any other way to bring the durability back up? I mean if it gets whittled down while you're away, but nobody attacks while you are on, then what is one to do? What are wager points?
  2. Ok, so I heard something interesting on this crazy internet of ours. And that's that there is pretty much little to no chance of capturing territory, because there is NO motivation whatsoever for a defending team to accept an intruding fight. If they lose they lose the territory, if they ignore it nothing happens, and if they win and beat back the intruders they get nothing. That just seems like a really bad idea. So pretty much nobody except an elite few accept challenges at all, because there is no reason to. I heard it on the internet, so it must be true.
  3. That so? I'll give them another try in the demo since I haven't deleted it yet, but the one I played with seemed a bit odd. I know the thing with howitzers is their trajectory, but it seemed a bit extreme, like I had to aim too high to even see the ground if I wanted the round to go any respectable distance. Maybe it was just the one in the demo though.
  4. Wait, howitzers? I played a round with those in the demo but are the traditional grenade cannons gone now?
  5. Wait wait, EOs are back? As an equip-able shoulder unit? That's really cool actually. How are grenade cannons in the game? I'm thinking I'll likely run with one of those. And are there grenade rifles?
  6. I will say though, going by the demo IDK if I'm going to be as sold on the Sniper Cannons as I thought I was. Not being able to lock on, that's ok. But the movement speed is so goddamn slow, they couldn't have at least given you more control over the aiming, like the farther you push the analog stick the faster it'll move like in FPSs? I know it's a powerful skill weapon, but not being able to lock onto a nimble target like an AC is tough enough but now you can't even track fast enough? IDK, I'm thinking I may end up going with grenades.
  7. Very nice. Have to see if the OST has already been released or not. Gonna have to buy that. That's right. Buy. EDIT: Seems it was released yesterday, but I can't find a single site that I can order it from.
  8. That was kind of odd though, how he just stopped shooting and really moving around. I think he either lost on purpose, or given the little cutscene afterwards it could be one of those things where you're supposed to lose.
  9. Is the demo gone now? I have a couple friends that might try it out but I couldn't find it in the JP PSN store anymore.
  10. Was able to get into a couple of the territory missions, found a couple that had me going after the transport helicopters. God DAMN those things do not go down. I ran out of time both times, I was kind of embarrassed :|
  11. Yeah, the link you posted with the Chogokin ACV figure says it's scheduled for a June release, but Mecha Damashii says April, so I hope they're right. XD
  12. Haha, thanks. From what I understand is that quads get an accuracy and fire rate boost with cannons opposed to bipeds and RJs.
  13. I couldn't help but notice that there doesn't seem to be a general "Machine Gun" category, only Gatling and Pulse MG. Are machine guns gone? Is the gatling now the standard machine gun?
  14. The garage music makes me think of House. That said, I'm going to be playing this demo until the new control scheme (Nijis) and boost system becomes second nature, been holding on too long to the classic control setup, you see. Also I noticed in the story mission, the walking animation for my quad legs seemed to get a little funny. I hope that's not common.

  16. Hm, I don't remember that one. I don't think that one popped up in the game at all either though. If that's the case then it's still very possible that the music came from a different source, hence why it wouldn't be on the OST. Seems unlikely that they'd make a song like that only for one trailer.
  17. It was mentioned once or twice in Last Raven that Zinaida was apparently out to get Mollycoddle. Was this ever fleshed out? It just seems so strange that the game would point that kind of detail out and then not bring it up again. I know there were a couple people speculating that Zinaida may have actually been Agraya after him for stealing Genobees design, but that doesn't seem to add up. Was this brought up in the JP version of the game and lost in translation?
  18. Man, that was a pretty sweet video. Makes me think though, I hope that bandai brings in some pretty decent VOs for this one. AC in japan has apparently always had some pretty high profile VOs while the NA voices have typically been less than stellar. Those in game cutscenes aren't gonna be nearly as cool with some cut-rate voices behind them.
  19. It's just a little over 2 months, that's not too bad. I really hope those Famitsu parts are in the pre-order bonus.
  20. I don't really care about the pilot/soldier DLC, but what's the Famitsu code stuff? Exclusive part skins? That I'd kind of like. Even if I don't use it, I'd like knowing that I could if I change my mind, some of those actually look pretty cool. I hope there's a way for US players to get that stuff.
  21. Seriously? An 063AN? I mean, that's cool and all, but I'm with TMR. An Ethermaster kit would sell much better, I think.
  22. Sadly, no. Trust me, that was my favorite head too. If it was released I'd know about it. XD (In unrelated news though, I think I saw a very similar head in ACV )
