Well Niji pretty much gave it away if you weren't paying attention. With that information and some EN conservation techniques you can spam as effectively in FA, you just have to take a couple second break if you get a little too spam happy.

Okay if your explanation about optical chaffs is correct, sniper, can anyone relay these part's effectiveness in sniper builds? Because Im generally assuming that snipers will only be effective in team battles do to other team mates distracting the opposition giving the sniper a change to position him/herself accordingly and begin sniping. In the case that the sniper is compromised, Im speaking from common sense here, that he/she would wanna get away and re-position. So would optical chaffs be of any good during re-positioning due to the hindrance they cause the pursuer's lock one effectiveness/capability?
It'd be much more beneficial to equip missiles imho to gtfo LW as LW are pretty weak to missiles and missiles are pretty damn powerful. LW's will be probably the only ones that'll try to attack you before all your sniper ammo is up I guess.

Wow Fenrawr... chill bro. I never said that 360 was the better console to play ACV on. I said that was what I preferred and I stated my reasons for supporting it. I have a huge respect for the PS3 fan base of the game as AC is a PS series by nature and obviously has a ton more support for the game. They have a huge jap fanbase as well to play against and that is great.
My point is the that XBL community compared to the PSN community fosters a more communal philosophy. XBL games are built with multiplayer in mind. The reason I play games are to hang out with other people who enjoy playing the same games. That's why I don't really get into the single player side. I enjoy the human interaction. People who play on the xbox are already communicating on dozens of other games daily and hourly. PS3 games don't give off that same sense of teamwork and communication. People that play Halo for hours a day together can easily adjust to ACV and already know each others strengths and weaknesses and already work well together.
Of course there will be people that do start communicating because of ACV and there will be teams that communicate to maximize their skills. What I'm saying is that the xbox community has been doing that for years on tons of games so it will be a more natural transition for the 360 communities. The 360 version does not have as many bonuses to playing it as the PS3 does, but I prefer the 360 side of things. As much as people IRC on the PS3 there is 10x more than that going on in voice chat on the xbox. We even voice chat with each other while playing single player games like Batman, Skyrim, Mass Effect, etc. Also as Barilzar mentioned because we have a smaller fanbase the community is much more close knit. It is like living in a small town compared to a big city. Everyone knows everyone and it fosters a completely different experience. And because we have less JPs there is a higher chance that the people we do run into will talk to us in voice chat.
Again I'm not saying the 360 is better... I'm saying that it suits what I want out of the game more than the PS3 does. We all have our preferences. I respect the guys that play the PS3, but I still feel that we as players don't deserve any less respect for being the off console. I don't play on the PS3 and I've been taking the time to upload videos and work on this spreadsheet for the whole of the community. Just because we are the little brother in this situation doesn't mean we share any less potential to grow up and exhibit a successful future. One son grows up to be a lawyer and the other grows up to be a doctor... both help people in their own ways and both are equally successful.
I'm not exactly sure why you are getting so pissed, we all have our likes and dislikes. Why can't we just all get along?

Okay, I understand now. It just seemed that you were saying that XBL is better than PS3 cuz you kept boasting about the commu etc... And like I said, you won't be talking much anyways with others, just your teams teammates which SHOULD be people you know. Also, teamwork experience is easily gained by doing w/e. Not just gaming lmao. You can get it by playing teamsport and stuff.
Oh and I wasn't mad, just annoyed. I understand now I understood wrong.
As for Barilzar, YOU are the "whiny faggy fanboy" I don't care if you play on XBL but what I do care about is people saying that XBL is better than PS3 for ACV which it obviously ain't. It seemed like Godly was saying XBL is better than PS3 hence my post.

Who said I was sugar coating the modders? Sure there are modders here and there, but I would much rather hang with the more communicative community. It is well worth it to hang out with other people enjoying the game and discussing it with them. If there are modders the community is small enough to be able to tell who is who and they are treated as such. I support people getting the 360 version because in the long run making those friends is well worth it. People don't take the time to communicate with each other on the PS3 as much as they do on the 360. Sure you get the little kids here and there, but they are just as easy to avoid. There are some very cool people out in the world and I enjoy meeting each and every single one of them.

First of all... more communicative community? Oh please. ALOT of people play ACV on PS3, IIRC 5x more than XBL. So that means more chance to actually see these communicative people around, oh and, did I tell you about the only real communication that's actually important is the communication between your team? And did I tell you that ACV encourages using headset and teamwork etc and making friends by trading etc etc? Did I also tell you that you will have a small chance seeing 5-10 teams pwning all the time and having all territories and having an even smaller chance to meet the same stupid people with the same AC and tactics etc? Did I also tell you that PS3 players actually have experience with ACV while XBL have zero experience with ACV? Did I also tell you there'll be a huge competition between japanese and english/european players while japanese are the best thus giving big competition? Did I also tell you that PS3 is alot more supported by FROM than XBL seeing how JP companies support PS3 and even more so cuz FROM's AC games were always on PS's.
Verdict:
PS3 is the much better choice for playing ACV on. People who say so otherwise are either too stubborn to admit (or are either just plain stupid/delusional) this all and make up excuses like "more communicative community" which is complete bullshit cuz: *see all of above*. Making friends? More bullshit. Same thing, read above again. Sure XBL got the chromehounds part who know how to teamwork properly, I'll give XBL that, but IMHO it doesn't matter. Teamwork is easily gained while gaining experience with ACV is not.

I need to be verify if these Mid legs I see in the game are as broken as I think they are. Does anyone with the game right now has the Mid leg "ULG-20 SHASTA". If so, judging by what I see, please don't tell me that the stats on these legs are indeed that unbalanced. This is what I mean...

No, it's just that the ULG-10/L is a real bad part and that the ULG-20 SHASTA is supergood. You're comparing the worst LW Biped to the best(?) MW Biped. Look at the other LW Bipeds, those have FAR more superior movement than the MW Bipeds.

I find that hilarious. A game with giant robots, machine guns and lasers, and you get a perk for kicking someone.

Those "boxing gloves" are tongfas. They appear on your elbow like a long pole/knife/sword but sync with your lower arm. Tongfas in this game... awesome. I wonder if they can replace piles? As in, do as much/more damage than piles. Might be nice.

Maybe... but imo, it's hard to pull that off, sure you gain a free unlimited ammo and free weapon slot(s) instead of using pilebunkers, but piles are damn light anyways and there's nothing else to equip on a LW imo anyways. LW + Pilebunkers = PWNAGE. And getting to your enemy is no problem as a LW either. At least, not as much of a problem as a HW Biped.

Like gamestop says, all it'll do is give you a headstart over other players. All parts aren't modified, not performance nor cosmetically I'm guessing. I'm pretty sure though. 168 parts/weapons that are cosmetically modified? What? Nope. They didn't mention looks either. You'll be able to get allll those parts and weapons later on. All they will do is make the game easier for you aka headstart and play multiplayer right off the bat, although I wouldn't do that until I got ALL parts. All in all, you'll just have an easier time at the story mission and be able to clear it a bit faster. It's nice though, don't get me wrong, I mean, it's free. And as you know; time is money. Although for people who don't live by a gamestop or anything, don't. The Assault package and 3 days earlier release is hardly worth the €10 or so, also, delivery will be a tad slower. So expect to get it 1-2 days before release in EU.

Yea, I agree on that. It's weird how LW Bipeds are the lower drain now. Wth is up with that. And yes, lower even with same weight as a RJ. I still love my RJ though. Speed and in your face weapons... Aah nothing better than that. The adrealine... the wind blowing in your ACs face... Dat speed... Dat power of dual shotguns and pulse guns!! *cums*

Also, what is up with the LW RJs having such high drain?
You're probably using the wrong Generator and Booster setup. The high EN capacity generator (last bottom generator) is a must for any AC that concentrates on moving, not so much needed for Quads I guess but I don't see why you'd swap the gen out except for more weight? For RJ, high accel type cuz your speed starts very fast unlike high power booster which starts slow then super fast. It's not really needed for a RJ. You'd be quick boosting most of the time anyways. You concentrate on getting to places faster than others, so you need high accel. I reccommend the 2nd as it has the lowest EN drain and the 1st high accel booster only has marginal booster output for less stats overall. High power booster drains alot of EN, that's your problem I suppose.
Edit: I was wrong. Higher difference between EN output limit of a generator and the EN of your AC means faster EN recovery. From now on, take my advice with a grain of salt. All of you. Sorry for confusing you guys like that.

Anyway, I can see myself developing a fetish for those pulse guns, which shoot in a spread shot. So brutal at close range :3
It's going to take some work getting used to the evasion and positioning in this game. To me it feels as if the weapons have maintained AC4's velocity and ferocity, while movement has been dumbed down. I really feel like I need to play some LR to figure out how to flank again, even against the AI

Tell me you use LW RJ with them and I'll love you forever.
P.S. Use the highest CE defense arm, the one with 2900 AP. Accuracy is highest of all arms in the demo. At least, highest in the current info we're given from Niji's part list.

Like Niji said, Speedkill B glitches out half of the time. As in, it only rewards you the achievement half of the time.

That's correct. Though I THINK they did something like this: It's downloadable till then but it becomes avaible again for Silveraccounts after 1 week. If not, that's a very big dickmove. You could always just make someone download it for you or just go over to a friends house who has Gold and download it, move it to an USB and move it back to your own 360.
Or even send it to you through e-mail? Not sure if that works though. You could always try. I have a PS3 so I can't give it to you. Wouldn't work I suppose.

True, but if you're a perfectionist like me, perfecting your story 'n stuff then you'll fight it. And I don't understand how you get low AP even. By the time I get there I have like 25k AP left with a RJ L with Dual Gatlings from the starting 30k AP. With the best Armored parts, but still.
HD - TE, the one with 2300 AP
CORE - KE, the one with around 9600 AP
ARM - CE, the one with 4000 AP
Second best HEAD but that's cuz of weight issues. It's only 400 AP and 20 CE Defense difference anyways.

You should've searched the whole Xbox Live store instead in that case. Do NOT search for "Armored Core V" or "ACV" or anything. LOOK for the demo. You won't find it by searching. Just open all tabs of the Xbox Live store and look for stuff that look like demos or something. Keep looking inside that tab until you find a big V, much like the trailer download cover.
@Hoppy Easy as hell even with 1 AP. Just go on a building, pop up, shoot, he fires missiles? Cancel BOOSTER so the missiles collide into the building, rinse and repeat. Why u so lazy!?

What giant MT? Helicopter? Just spam missiles on it, preferably Heat Missiles. If you got confused and you're talking about the AC which only appears for a brief moment, slap on something with lots of firepower. Preferably Tank with Dual Auto Cannons and Homing Missiles. Fire away!

And wut? You can actually avoid the fight? But seriously. The MT is easy to destroy. Just spam missiles on it. His CE ain't that high either. Especially when you can spam Heat Missiles on it which have CRAZY DPS. Though, don't home in from my speculation, neither even follow the locked target(?) They seem like free fire. Though not sure on that.Also, his missiles ain't deadly at all. And no I didn't use a Tank or anything. I used a RJ Lightweight. With minimum Defenses at that time even for weight purposes.
