I'm tempted to go PC since the X360 version is terrible. But I don't want to spend time to unlock things because that's dumb.

It was fun to be a part of the contest, even if only a small part. Because bandwagon I will AC speech, but also because I have things to say, kind of.

Matrix
I basically played up to this by stating repeatedly that no one would recognize my designs before the contest. So of course I tried to make the most Exorcet design possible. It was asked on batstrema whether this was my actual LR AC. It is not, Kneeling sucks and so does Ettin. I considered entering my actual AC, but in the end decided to make it the aesthetic of Exorcet rather than an actual design of mine. Add more EN weapons, change to frame a bit and there you do. I like what nob said on stream, that the fatal flaw of this AC is that the back cannon shoots purple instead of blue. I didn't even consider that honestly, but having a blue laser back weapon would have fit with this whole ridiculous idea.
Speaking of ridiculousness, I was also considering entering Matrix for every division. I did want to enter all divs, but without the games and being unsure how long it would take to come up with serious designs for everything I just decided to go LR and thought one Matrix was enough. Even if the ACDC did not have enough KARASAWA.
Also in hindsight, or whatever, I think Griffon (from the actual Matrix) would have looked better than Ettin. Though on the other hand, the AC would have to be right handed. I prefer left hand KARASAWA's.
Hexagonal
This was the real entry and I'm glad it did as well as it did. I spent about 30 minutes total doing designs, from start to end. That's not to say I didn't try though. The idea behind this AC came through well. People thought it looked a hulking weapon, which is exactly what I wanted. The inspiration for it came from Mech Warrior style robots I guess. The frame captures it really well, but I had no idea what to do for the head. The original was the radar head, which I think goes well with basically any RJ. Though toward the end I felt like I wanted something more original. LADYBUG looks simple and rugged and I think it's a good fit, even if it still looks kind of weird.
Then there was the paint. No ideas. It started off Matrix colored of course because the AC in that garage slot was Matrix colored, as fortold by batstrema, but that would have given it away. I didn't want it to be completely obviously that this was my AC (though I think the name gives it away). In the end I settled for a kind of two-tone camoflage type thing, except I didn't actually use camo. No one seemed to get the paint except maybe TM though. All said and done, I should rebuild it and put Coleslaw's paint on it. That's a very similar design now that I think of it.

Yellow Jacket
It's a nice AC. Doing the big arm LW thing that everyone does, but if it looks good I won't really knock it for that. I'm bit surprised that the legs fit so well as I only find them so-so to be honest because they're a bit too thin to look practical. They work here though, because of the similarly thin core and head I guess.

It's like the thing above it, but with a weird core. Etten looks fat. The other one wins. However, HIDDEN EXXON. Can you find it?
Merkava Mk 5
Real tanks tend to look good. This one doesn't. It doesn't as a cosplay tank or as an AC tank. It's tall and looks really narrow with those arm weapons. Which is the opposite of how I think a tank should look.

It looks controllery. But it's not terribly good looking itself. GUN IS RED DEE EQUALS

This is an interesting AC. A lot of people seem to not like it, but I wouldn't say it's as bad as they make it out to be. It's kind of like something ugly enough to make you look at it. Which is what nob said. Which means I hate this exactly as much as everyone else after all. Fkn. Also hanging left arm weapon. Boo.
Woodgutter
This belongs in MoA division. Because it's a nice quad. It's great on many levels. It's a nice looking frame and the weapons actually compliment it a lot. It's got good use of camo, it looks functional, and I guess I buy into the thing where it looks like it could be a ranking AC. It's def good stuff.
Sir Duke Lord Baron Von Ham the 4th
Reminds me of Yellow Jacket. I really like the frame. I don't know if the back weapons should be there. I certainly don't see them when I first look at it and it looks great. Then they work their way into my vision and I'm like OK. Hanging right arm weapon. Boo.
Carmilla
Maybe Woodgutter spoiled me. I look at this and see it's not that AC. The frame isn't quite as coherent. I tend to like less organic heads on quads and RJ's, but that's just a personal bias. I guess it's not that bad, but the competition has it beat in this case.
Wasteland Trader
I've seen it since the beginning. I've talked about it, so I'll just be short here. The theme is captured very well, but for some reason it doesn't appeal to me that match.

I like it. The color is default, but it's a nice color. Better original AC and default color than the other way around. The Ettins look good on it too. Fkn.

Neat. The first image nails the AC and it's definitely a stand out in this ACDC. I know people were going crazy on how boxes matched boxes and things, but for me it's simpler. It's a menacing looking weapon. And while it's killing you, you'll appreciate the good looks.

Orbits
This is a tanky tank. Also has bubbles. Also has the default color that it makes good use of. The only flaw is that it is offering you lollipops. No one will fall for this ploy. It is obvious that the lollipops are a trap. Don't talk to strangers even when they offer you nice things.

Humidor happened. Then the knock off clones flooded the market. But they aren't the same. The head is weird, but it's a good weird maybe. Also I don't see how it's one color. It's green and blue.

Big boxy RJ with semi-camoflage. I guess there's nothing wrong with it, but it doesn't strike me as amazing either.
After Man
Interesting shape, though I don't know if I like the legs. From the front it's fine, but they're really short and it makes the side profile a little strange. Strange looking stuff can go either way though, but I can't decide what kind of strange this is.

USS Revenge
Has nothing to do with the name, other than maybe being a weapon. That's OK. Good frame, interesting color. I also think the weapons really contribute here, along with the ship like radar. Which maybe has something to do with the name. A contender.

Is also fat. Nuclear color isn't working as well as MoA and the frame is kind of strange looking, but I know what kind of strange and I don't like it all that much. Actually maybe it's just the head I don't like. But I think the head is one of the center pieces of the whole concept. Oh well. I have no taste.
Executive
It's nice looking, a solid frame but the shape isn't super great, just good. It has an interesting color theme, but it's not grabbing me.
Foot Patrol
I like it. I'm not even sure why. The color is kind of neat. The frame is made of parts that might look silly alone (head and legs mostly, this quad has weird feet) but compliment each other well, I guess. I don't know, I made all that up, I just looked at it and thought it looked cool.
Chrome Dome
The legs look weird. It looks like it's supposed to be straight legged, but it's not because it's RJ. The dome is not chrome. Unless the dome is a missile sheild, but then it should be Iron Dome. Or maybe it's Chrome Dome because RJ's can fly like a B-52. It does have high efficiency boosters. SO MANY QUESTIONS
Smithereens
It's OK. Sort of nice frame. Might look better with BARREL legs. Color is a bit drab.

I don't play Borderlands 36 the second coming of the original thing before things so I don't know what it is. Looks kind of neat, but also mismatched top to bottom.

Looks nice, and I don't have much to say about it other than that.
Scorpio
Also looks nice. The parts go together well, maybe less so the core, but that's not a bad thing here. I'm not sure about the color though. It's not that it is bad, but I think this AC might look better in a different scheme.
Overflow
It's like Scorpio in humanoid form. I don't like those legs personally, but I think this is a good use of them. Although the link between core and legs looks weird. Color is weird but good, a little more interesting to look at than Scorpio's.

It's a tank. Nice color though.
The Ultimate Pool Noodle
This is a good looking AC and it's also pretty memorable. Good use of nuclear MoA coloring and a well put together frame. The back missiles are kind of just there, but they don't take away anything so I don't mind.

Good use of MoA nuclear color and absolute void background. The weapon makes a nice head. It's a good entry but it doesn't strike me as a top 3.
Coleslaw
It's cool looking and it has a cool name. Good job. I like the head, or that this AC makes the head work, along with the cartoonishly enormous arms. It has a nice color set too, the slight bit of purple goes a long way.

It's like Coleslaw, but not in my top 3. IF ONLY THERE WERE MORE EN WEAPONS. Any AC with those arms though gets points for having those arms.

I think it's a Blu spy. That's all that comes to mind, mainly from the name. But I don't know. Points for blue.

The shading in the comparison image doesn't do anything for me. Based on those two images I'd say don't do it and save the effort so you can pump out more pages.
If there are panels that really need shading maybe you could use it for those panels only. Things like that sometimes break continuity for me though. Also, while I don't think the shading is completely necessary, I do like the shading on the left girl's shirt more than on either person's face. Maybe it's the coloring that throwing me off, I don't know.

I have AC5 on PS3, I don't play it, but I like it enough to do matches sometimes. VD isn't very different from 5, most people here are PS3 and most don't play AC much anymore.

I think the implication, at least from reading the responses, is that you're making some wildly unrealistic requests here. I don't know because I don't play ac5, but I'm thinking that's it.

Your only hope is ULG-21 with ULG-71 or whatever gen and TEMPETE with whatever missiles weigh the least and with KRSW instead of KARASAWA. That's pretty silly though. The only way you're going to get all the stuff you want at the same time is heavy legs or a crippled mid weight with low power boosters and too much weight to jump, and then there goes speed.

AC5 leg weight is actually important and it's easy to overload. LW's can't carry heavy weapons.
90 is right, you need to lighten up. But his suggestion is terrible, because KARASAWA is the best part ever.
You're going to need to narrow down your list and pick what you really want to do, and then do that.

These kind of games also have a bit of a competitive group, but it's not like SF.
This is casual stuff, I wanted to post a tournament video, but I couldn't find it. This isn't a realistic situation at all, just fun gunfighting.
I also think there is plenty of spectator appeal if you know what's going on. If not, then it's bunch of people sitting in a forest or planes going in circles, yeah.
Mostly though the competitive scene in this games is replaced by a hardcore player crowd, but these groups can be plenty competitive. DCS has many squads that like to either coop, work together in vs MP, or challenge other squads.
