The concept is that it's a super heavyweight that charges in with a combination of added boosters and OB, then lets an AA go off. A lot of GA parts were chosen for high shell defense because that's what it's going to come down to with no PA up and the -GASP- dual rifles are there because I honestly have no idea what else would fit the spot better. I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but I'm sure it's fast enough to catch a few people off guard for some funny wins.

The main fall back is the lack of AP and DEF. also its lack of air time witch Im going to fix somehow. The DUSKAROR gives overall better speed, AP, DEF, and payload

I have only 1 quad, so I thought I should make another. The other quad I had was a RAIDEN quad with a sniper cannon. I wanted to make one for CQC, which is my signature style. This is what I came up with. The frame is meant to be light and EN efficient to support itself. I don't really care about defense that much. Lightweights are supposed to be fast to dodge incoming fire. I'm not going to make a LW AC with defense in mind because I don't plan on utilizing that defense. Though I will make a LW AC with the best defense possible. LATONA head is chosen for EN efficiency, mainly. It also looks cool and it had the eye that I wanted for this build. Nothing real special about choosing this part. LATONA core was chosen solely for EN efficiency. Unfortunately, quads are quite drainy. Especially DUSKAROR. My AC has to pretty damn efficient to support the way I fight, as I do not SS. JUDITH arms were chosen for their EN efficiency and maneuverability. It has good weapon handling also. DUSKAROR legs were what I built this thing around, it is the "foundation" of my AC. I was just going to choose some other quad leg, but I wanted to fast, real fast. So I chose DUSKAROR. MR-R102 was chosen for its ammo capacity and overall reliability. It's a good rifle. CANTUTA is my new standard MG. It has better ballistics velocity for better hit registry and low recoil for better accuracy. KAMAL is one of my favorite weapons. Does great damage up close, and does better damage when paired with a MG. MP-O901 was chosen mainly for it being a missile unit. I wanted something that did good damage, but could cut me some slack at the same time. MP-O901 is a great missile unit, for it fires rapidly and it tracks well. 061ANRM was chosen to pair with my MP-O901. It boasts the highest acceleration of all missiles unit, say for the ones that are equal. It supports pretty much every missile unit well. It also does good damage. LATONA booster set is my favorite, and is usually standard on my ACs. It is quite EN efficient, and has ample power for my playstyle. I don't really even need that much power on this AC because the DUSKAROR legs provide a large speed boost. JUDITH is standard for my ACs as well. I don't really use OB too much, and I don't need to joust. I just need something with good static drain. It also has good active drain as well. I use OB simply to get out of hairy situations or escape missiles. I used the RIGEL generator so I can be better off EN-wise. This is a pretty drainy AC, and I want to be comfortable using it. I stuck this in because it provided good EN, and I didn't need to worry too much about it affecting my speed. DUSKAROR provides a big speed boost, and this hardly puts a dent in it. Game plan is simply to start off using missiles. I usually always use missiles first because I want to get rid of them. My style relies mostly on my playing ability. Missiles are usually put in place to make my job easier. Also, getting rid of your missiles also takes a huge load off of your generator, for most missiles are usually drainy. Getting rid of missiles is a must on this AC. After missiles are gone, get in close.
  15. Due to my PS3 being dead and being unable to replace it until next month I'll be on Xbox live for the time being. This is my first AC in a while so here goes nothing. The HW build uses the zook arms and SC combo like raiden SC. The spread missiles are there to chase people. I was testing this on playstation network before my PS3 died and it was doing well, but apparently Xbox is a different beast entirely. Thoughts?   22. Themata ACSIS > Assemble i. Frame TELLUS | LATONA | 063AN03 | ALICIA AP: 36211 Shell Def: 7643 EN Def: 7862 PA: 7042 Comments: Leg type choice basically boils down to preference. I really enjoy piloting RJs in AC4 and FA due to their ability to gain altitute so quickly. ALICIA were chosen for relative agility and EN def. TELLUS and LATONA offset drain and buffer EN def further. AN03 arms were chosen to compliment the weapons. Overall this is a balanced frame, albeit on the lighter side of the defensive spectrum. ii. Internals JUDITH | JUDITH Comments: FCS is chosen for balanced stats to accommodate the use of mid-to-close-range artillery, and missiles. JUDITH generator is lightweight and offers ample energy supply on the RJ legs. LINSTANT generator works with some more effort on behalf of the pilot also. iii. Boosters LATONA | LATONA | LATONA | JUDITH Comments: Pretty stock-standard booster setup. Can probably support a higher output booster with the RJ legs and decent EN supply. iv. Armaments KAPTEYN | R102 | POPLAR | RDF-O700 | 061ANRM Comments: KAPTEYN is chosen for its superior accuracy, and picked over PITONE for better performance closer to the opponent due to a higher melee ability. It works well with jousting, and is good at range to pick away at opponents, especially those guarding or starting with an AP lead. R102 is for spamming through the duration of the match, with little weight or drain strain. I am considering a switch to one of the BFF rifles (probably the assault version) for more reliability. Radar allows me to track opponents much easier for both offensive and defensive purposes. POPLAR has been my favourite jousting missile pack since 1.00, and the relations are for potentially scoring some big damage and general harassment, along with ammo stores to last the POPLARs. The lack of an EN weapon means this can have trouble against tanks, since their flares really hapmer my attacking power. Same for solidly defensed mids. Frame: Judith/Ekhazar/Aaliyah/Aaliyah Internals: Judith/Lahire Booster line: Aaliyah/Latona/Schedar/Judith Weapons: Mr-102/Motorcobra/0203/Travers/Beltcreek Stabilized: (0,-14) Tunes: 50 in En output, En Cap, Maneuverability, Horizontal Thrust, Vertical Thrust, Main QB, Side QB, Turning 31 in Missile lock 11 in Lock speed Analysis: Frame: Its a light mid with 40k AP and acceptable defenses. Ekhazar and aaliyah legs for AP Aaliyah arms for Weapons handling and Judith head just because. It has 8k shell defense and just under 7k en defense with decent speed. Internals: Judith is a simple to use and serviceable FCS. Since I'm using MG+AR and missiles I don't need high lock speed, 300 is sufficient. Lahire gen gives me 23k en after missiles are used/dropped and some PA which the frame has a decent amount of. Booster Line: Its fast and easy to manage En with. Not much to say here. Weapons: MG+AR lets me CQC anything slower and go toe to toe with light DRs. The 203s were chosen to kill people who fly too much. Force them to the ground and hammer them with a nade. I placed the missiles with the MG to keep pressure on and help break their PA for the nade shot when they land. Beltcreek extensions so the the missiles can be spammed quickly if they aren't needed. Tunes: Stressed mobility, come to think of it thats what I tend to do on all my ACs. Overall I think it looks cool but it doesn't really have any strengths. I've been thinking about using the Kamal over the travers but nades are too much fun vs anything grounded.
