A while ago, I decided to give away my PS2 and games to charity. Recently, I decided to play LR again thanks to John and Mike, so I decided to buy a used PS2, LR, and a memory card. I thought I gave my memory card too, but I had an intuition this morning that it may still be in my empty PS2 folder at my closet (that I totally forgot about for seven years). And as it turns out, I was right! And I have a binder for all of my PS3 games! Yay! So I boot up the game and found two saves. I love the sound it makes when I fire and the sound and splash animation is makes when hitting the opponent. It feels very satisfying. The ammo count is disappointing though. Post suggestions if you want. I am surprised that I did not find any quad or tank designs. It may be in my other memory card.

So if you backstab an enemy, another enemy will straight up merc you (but it deals less damage). Not sure how this translates to PvP yet. It sounds like a great tool for gankers. It sounds cool for PvE though.

I am still on the fence. WATCH_DOGS is the game I am really looking forward to. If it has good reviews and the PS4 version is drastically different than the PS3 version, I will pick up a PS4 at launch. I will not pre-order one though. I like people watching so I don't mind waiting in a line. If the PS4 happens to be out of stock. Oh well, I saved $400.

Lol, pretty much. For anyone who is pre-ordering the PS4, what games are you looking forward to? I am considering to buy the PS4 at launch with WATCH_DOGS as my main title. Out of all the games at E3 this year (and last year), Watch Dogs looks the most impressive to me. The Dark Souls' style invasion where people will "invade" me without my knowledge and try to hack me sounds very interesting and different. Warframe and DriveClub are free-to-play so I will definitely check them out. Assassin's Creed IV is the only other games that looks interesting to me. I never played an Assassin's Creed game before so I may give it a chance. I kind of lost interest with FPS games (it comes in phases), so I don't think I will pick up Killzone, BF, or CoD. You're this giant, one-eyed snake thingy, and you fly around worlds collecting characters as passengers or fulfilling various objectives, or solving puzzles none of which are directly told to you that they exist. You just sort of solve them organically.

I bought a 360 at launch. Then it died. Then I fixed it. Then it died. Then I can't fix it. Then I said "fuck it, I am buying a PS3". Then I bought a PS3. It never died. I really hope we are moving towards dedicated servers. Now that we need PS+ for online play, I'd be disappointed if we are stuck with P2P.

Unless MS owns the IP, it may be ported to the PS4 eventually. Look at Bioshock and Mass Effect for example. Also, a game does not need to be competitive or balanced to be good. It just has to be fun. I am still skeptical whether Double Helix can pull it off though, given their history of game development. Like I said, I like the art direction, but I am not impressed with the gameplay footage. From the looks, and from what I have heard, the game is mashy.

I wonder if you need your disc to run Gaikai. I really doubt your can stream a AAA title and for it to run well. I have a feeling Gaikai would act more like an emulator. Hopefully, we will have more info early 2014.

You can trade in games and purchase a PSN card, but I don't think there is a direct link. Like, I don't think you can trade in $71 worth of games and get a $71 PSN card.

Eh, did you try turning on Safe Mode and try to revert back to factory settings? My buddy had that same issue and it worked for him. But, too late. So I am guessing you are not planning to play Dark Souls II. lol Are you buying the PS4/XB1 at launch?

To be honest, the only launch title I am interested for the XBone/PS4 is Watch_Dogs, and I can play that on my PS3. There is little reason to buy a console at launch unless you feel compelled to play a specific game that you can't otherwise play. Those games includes: Xbox One: - Dead Rising 3 - Forza Motorsport 5 - Kinect Sports Rivals - Ryse: Son of Rome - Killer Instinct (LOL, GTFO) - LocoCycle (also on 360) Playstation 4: - DriveClub - Killzone: Shadow Fall - Knack - The Witness (also on PC) - Warframe (also on PC) Either Xbone/PS4: - NBA Live 14 And even if you are interested in playing these games, there is little reason to pre-order. I really doubt game stores will run out of stock for either consoles. But yeah, that's just my opinion. Though, I guess having it shipped to you is more convenient if you ordered online.
