Focus is shifting heavily towards art again, my little dive into SFV and the FGC is winding down for the moment I guess, its sort of tying in with the art to some degree though. I'm going to try and commit to learning how to properly color my works, I need my works to be much more eye catching. I've dabbled in digital painting but haven't really gotten comfortable with it yet, mainly because I'm trying to hold onto and figure out how to blend my traditional methods with digital painting. I just don't like completely covering up my natural pencil work. I have some ideas on how I might overcome this and will be testing it out this weekend hopefully. I did a Chun-li draw of her pro tour outfit, I was just sketching her face but then decided to add more, that's why it came out a bit "stiff", I'm trying to focus more on dynamic poses in future works. And yes I was inspired by the unreleased Yatagarasu char design Nene. Although the art direction is not my favorite in the series, it still does have some impressive visuals and I actually think a lot of the animations are very well done (I've seen a lot of neat things while freeze framing the game in training mode). I always felt that the stages in SF4 were underwhelming, and that sfv already trumps it in that department, although some of the new stage ko's they threw in to please people are pretty lame.

We haven't played in a while, we must change that. Also lots of news on the balance changes for season 2 circulating. Chuns instant air legs nerfed, no longer plus on block, but she can now v-trigger off of specials and continue to combo. Lightning legs can now be activated both through piano and input. cr. lk now cancellable into LL. I was hoping a new patch would silence the Chun hate so I could play the char in peace lol, but I'm afraid its only going to continue due to the v-trigger off of specials buff. Lots of people saying Mika got hit too hard. Mika needs to be in corner to get wall bounce. Well I'm hoping for the best for some solid new characters, I personally am ready for some new faces that I might end up liking. That's a whole season without any returning cast members aside from Akuma, that's a pretty big deal, but I'm board.

I went ahead and Pre-ordered this game since they had a Black Friday sale. Basically the kind of online shooter I've been waiting for, pretty much a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans dream except without the mutants and anomalies. It aims to be highly realistic and far more open world than your basic match based online shooters. It's being developed by a Russian studio, it will not be based on a Free to Play model and will be full purchase only. This video sums things up pretty nice. Another vid

Awesome, I heard it was shut down by Nintendo soon after its completion. I wasn't keeping track of its release at the time so I didn't catch the download. Very well done remake though from the demo I played and the videos I've watched.

That Necalli outfit is very good, and the hair is awesome in Super Saiyan mode. Also I purchased and setup a new modem/router to replace my old setup, I haven't increased my speed through my ISP yet (speed increase was not an option with the old setup since it was the bottleneck.). But I am curious to test connection in matches with just the new setup alone, so far so good.

Urien is fun as fk, finally a char I'm excited to pursue besides Chun.

What made me really love Berserk was most definitely the character development and how well each characters actions, feelings and motives moved the story along. Great for building up climactic key plot moments. I'm pretty sure that's what I kept telling Jackson when I was trying to convince him to check out Berserk. The violence and gore has little to do with why I would recommend Berserk, but it does help a lot with the overall tone for sure.

PD you deliver the best cringe stories, would've made a good youtube upload. The Final Fantasy concert I went to was great, I was expecting to see some cosplay weebs but there were hardly any at all. This game looks terribly boring, you would have to pay me some good money to play that.

After seeing more, I am honestly blown away by what they were able to pull off with Urien and Juri, very well done, they exceeded my expectations. I feel they overshadow much of the cast.
