  1. c'mon, you can't speak in absolutes like that! I've actually learned a lot since I made this thread. I know they're available on 3 services... EZWeb, i-Mode, and Y! Keitai. Oddly the games are made by FromCapsule, which I can only assume is a subsidiary of FromSoftware. I've already found a browser page for the product, and it's not the one giving information about it. It's the one used to download the game. Unfortunately it's locked for regular web browsers, but I've found the web browser the phones used and spoofed Firefox's browser string to match. I just need to find out what information is passed to verify an account. Here's some media I found on the game's website. Some wallpapers and gameplay videos/trailers. http://www.mediafire.com/file/6fm2t6iwbi0y...mobileMedia.zip I've actually never seen this one: http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/4062/ac01.jpg Perhaps I should add these to the gallery.
  2. Has anyone had a chance to try one of the supposed 5 Armored Core games on mobile phones? From the look of it, they are Japan exclusive, but look like a lot of fun. I'm looking into ways of playing one myself.
  3. Perhaps interest will increase with the NGP release and Sony Xperia Play with Playstation Suite. eh~ whatever. I emailed Agetec about it, since they were the ones that originally localized them. Doubt that will get a response. Hahahaha.
  4. I've seen that foreign PSN markets have the three PS1 Armored Core games available as PSOne Classics. Was there any word on a United States PSN release? EDIT: I take that back... it's a PS3 only release and not the PS3/PSP Classics type.
  5. What if the pilot started as an MT pilot then worked up to an AC? EDIT: I just saw how old this thread is. April? Really?
  6. I found two reviews specifically mentioning Agetec adding in the new controls for Extreme Battle. http://www.mobiletechreview.com/games/PSP/armored-core.htm http://www.dignews.com/platforms/psp/psp-r...a-front-review/ I just emailed Agetec to see if they will admit to adding them, or if they will say From Software did it.
  7. ... ....... Why is this true?
  8. Heh, wikipedia has something interesting to add: "this re-released Armored Core: Formula Front International edition is considered to be the ultimate edition as it also contains a large amount of additional battles not found in the American version of the game, and includes both Japanese and English text options (except for the tutorial videos which are only in Japanese).[citation needed]" Of course, wiki is well known for it's joke edits, so I guess I can't rely on such information.
  9. I thought I remember reading somewhere that it was Agetec that added manual controls, and not From Software. That aside, that at least confirms my suspicions: There are 3 distinct versions. So only glitches were addressed from Extreme Battle to International? Or are there more changes?
  10. I am pretty confused about the various versions of Formula Front that were released internationally. Here's what I think I know: The first Formula Front was never released in North America, and included no manual controls. ...and when Agetec localized it for NA, they added manual controls. It was re-released in Japan under Formula Front International, and included the manual controls from Agetec. If any of that is incorrect, feel free to correct me. Here are my questions. The Japanese PS2 Formula Front is based on what version? Is Formula Front International just the NA version? Or does it have additional content not available in the NA version?
  11. I downloaded the latest regulation files just fine recently. I found out why I was having trouble. Xbox Live Gold membership is required.
