I currently do not have the game yet, but had a lot of fun playing it at my friend's dorm, 7 hours straight, paragon infiltrator, good times. I personally think this is one of the better games to play because there's story and gameplay, maybe the jaded cynics out there can say it sucks, but I rather enjoy this fine piece of work for what it is, a space epic. I do kinda enjoyed driving that crappy cartank around and kinda misses it.

This seems really interesting, and I am looking forward to something like this hopefully appearing, but as far as I know, there are already "surviving" mods out there, maybe you can ask their author if you could borrow their stuff for parts of your mod and just credit them later. I've seen droppable bedrolls and eat/sleep mods, so yeah. Good luck with this!

The video really made me think AC4 needed a city map, like just use the map from the first map, it would make a quite interesting VS map. It wouldn't hurt to have a better replay system as well, something similar to what Ace Combat had, combined with some camera style from Fallout 3's VATS, it would have been absolutely perfect, especially for making fanmade music videos.

Yeah, I've always utilized running on my LR designs, good for fine ground control, EN friendly and, like Niji said, juking on the ground, when I played fA, I wondered why not just make ACs without legs, seems like they're useless anyways, the only walking I've seen on fA was done by Motherwill. It would be nice to be able to utilize your legs to do what nature designed legs for again. I don't think QB needs to be obliterated and cast into the depth of hell either, I think a minature version of AC4 QB is what they need, not the "HAI GUIZ PERFECT PQB CHINA IS REAL NICE COME VISIT SOMETIEMS." Secretly, I love fA as much as the raven generation, the game quenched my need for speed. I'm a little afraid from what we currently know about the game, in regards to speed. I hope this game won't be "oh look I can sit in my house for six hours and design a really good AC, winrar is mine!" I think there should be a balance of battlefield skill, reflex, and design philosophy, because almost anyone can design a decent AC if they commit themselves to it, quite frankly, dumb people tends to have more determination. To really show you are the number one, you should excel in all areas, not just design, or reflex.

It might just be me but weapons that can be dropped and picked up seems like a great concept, I haven't played the older ones competitively, but dropping a weapon at the beginning of the round to increase your speed, and coming back for it later seems like an idea similar to being able to resupply/change loadout, that's definitely something viable, IMO, but since everyone's saying it was dumb, maybe it wasn't so viable? In regards to AC5 mean, with the "overed weapons" it'd really suck, especially for the big chainsaw wielders, seems like instead of sacrifice defense for big damage(PA Terrorists), you sacrifice offense for big damage, last ditch effort maybe? It would be interesting to be able to have the chainsaw as maybe one or two use, then you can drop it to pick up your weapon again. Unless mobility is really tuned down and it's actually a fair and viable concept for someone to drop all their weapon for a last stand, no moar "autokillacrosshalfthemap" lameness anymore, hopefully

My first taste of AC was when I was with my parents in another town, we were at Wal-Mart, walking by the video game section, the rest was a blur, I remember seeing robots, being able to FLY, shooting things with a gun and a LAZER BLADE, then I remember my mom saying "we have to leave, let's go." In my heart, I whispered, "I'll see you again." That was Silent Line, as I recall, I am not even sure how I knew it was Silent Line, but I know. A long time has passed, now I'm older, and is able to buy the games I want. It's an unknown time of the day, I am inside GameStop in a mall, while looking for an Ace Combat game in the A section, I saw a familiar figure, not quite like last time, but definitely of the same origin, along behold Armored Core: Last Raven. My heart skipped a beat, I reached up and grabbed the box, it was in good condition, it wasn't a "used" game, I was excited, I knew it couldn't be Silent Line, because it's been so long, whatever, I didn't care, I picked it up, asked to borrow my parents' money. Next thing I know, I'm playing ACLR nonstop, I googled and wiki'd Armored Core, my lost dream finally found, and it was one of the best things that has happened to me. My very own customizable giant killing machine, unique to me, with my own emblem, paintjob and specialization, oh man! Then I saw KittyOnEdge's AC4 import, I was like "QUICKBOOST?!?!?!?!?!" yeah, the rest is history.

I'll get back to it after I finish this damn fallout and all the effin mods for it, thinking about Oblivion scares me though, there are SO many mods for it, more than Fallout, and it's already a time consuming task to pick and choose mods for Fallout. you might wanna check out some of the popular refined leveling system mods if you hate the "there's an effin poor highwaymen with expensive ass glass armor running around" and/or being able to be arena champion at lvl 1
