I'm getting it on or around Christmas. I should probably join you in waiting longer though, I don't want my first impression of the game to be the servers exploding from a million players again. I'll need to restrict myself to only playing early in the morning until you get it. I don't know how much use it would be to us yet, but I think I heard something about the Elite features being totally free this time around. I have MOID registered now, but I don't know if we'd even be able to get the gold tag. Someone probably already took it, and Elite probably still doesn't allow duplicate gold tags. :[

nob, are you getting any of the other DLC? The first one seems to have a lot of neat stuff in it, I might have it soon.

There wasn't any interesting challenge about these kinds of bosses to begin with. It's exactly how it was with solo Craw, Terra will either knock you straight off a cliff for an instant kill, or repeatedly down you in 1-2 hits with nearly unavoidable attacks until the Fight For Your Life timer goes too quickly or it doesn't give you any tentacles to get yourself back up with. Either you get cheesed, or you cheese it with The Bee and/or hiding behind the rock near the walls. Or you run with a large party as intended and the boss is easy no matter what unless everyone in your group is inept. It's even easier than Craw to abuse respawn if you do happen to somehow die in a group, while getting back to Terra is faster than the elevator in BL1 that took about a full minute to take you back up.

I got The Bee in two attempts. It's a mediocre level 49 and I couldn't get a better one after probably fifty more attempts, but everything still dies quickly. I want to get Conference Call or Sledge's Shotgun now. Edit: Well, I just killed Terramorphous in twenty seconds.

Wow, nob. I was going through the rest of the game like a knife through butter, then slammed into a brick wall. I hope you'll be ready for level 52 Warrior, because it has too much health for me to solo. The strongest weapon I have right now is a 155k launcher buffed by Do or Die and Gun Damage +101% when my turret is up, I still only end up taking Warrior down to half health before I completely run out of ammo with everything. My turret is also being useless for some reason. I'm throwing it right in front of Warrior, but it keeps targeting Rakk that are on the other side of the map. I never had this problem when I was on the normal playthrough.

BO1 is still pretty clean. There's occasionally a person with hacked statistics, but there still hasn't been an outbreak of aimbots or anything like that.

Here's the MOAB I got with nob the other night. Not very impressive. I wasn't trying for it, had several months of rust, was rushing down kind of mindlessly for exp against total nubs and only three of them were left for a good portion of the match. Theater mode was also sketchy this time around, even gets glitchy for a bit at 4:30. Also, there's some stupid extra shotgun clips at the end of the video. Also also, within the next few weeks, I'll try putting actual effort into getting better gameplay, at least a few good videos. I want pistol gameplay too, so nob, remember to put things into your vault! I finally got the other perspectives up. I really underestimated how long that would take, it wasn't a smooth process since that was my first time with so many files at once. I should probably learn how to do certain things in case of next time! I was so terrible in this, I still can't believe I made it to the finals.

I forgot I posted this with it's own topic. It needs updated, I didn't even have all the FRS unlocked back then. I guess it's a good time to say that I'm considering Exor's recent suggestion in swapping the weapons so that it's PITONE / YAMAGA, and 51ANNR / OSAGE. I also have to think about keeping YAMAGA for switching speed / radius, or taking OGOTO for ammo / reload. Either one would probably work fine, but I'll really need to work on shooting around buildings rather than at them and hoping the enemy is hugging the walls.

GGs to everyone. Exorcet and TM handle rust like true heroes, I'm pretty sure I should've lost again in those second games against Exor. I'll see about getting videos up tomorrow or the day after.

At least it's only around $230 now, excluding games/accessories. I might even get a new one before my current blows up! I guess I should play some CoD sometime too, that LMG buff looks neat.

The original post has been updated! I made a couple of new emblems, but nob said he didn't really have anything else to give me. I also replaced the old images with higher quality ones. I had the in-game brightness set too high, so it butchered the details of nob's emblems in that first set of images. Oops.

Yes, the servers are apparently down again, even including the JP version. I don't know if it's the same for the 360, though.

I'm not sure which mission you're talking about, it would help if you were a little more descriptive than that. Regardless, for any mission that's against an AC or multiple ACs, you should be able to go set the Regulations to 1.00 and use dual Saline05 back spreads with 061ANRM shoulder relations. If you run out of ammo with Saline05 in any scenario, just cross-wield with dual rifles or something so that the relation spreads will end up giving you optimal firepower with their high ammo in the long run. Any other advice I can give you is either boost backwards and bait the AI towards you more, or just simply learn how to dodge their shots better. Try firing the missiles at higher angles if you're having trouble getting them to hit, too. That's about as close as you're going to get to a magical S-Rank button, unless you want to take the Regs 1.15 and laser blades alternative.

I've been playing through this game again to create a perfect default settings save file for the Downloads section. I heard about Elimination being glitched a long time ago, but I didn't actually believe it until now. I tried it on Regs 1.00, with dual ER-O200 on a cheapy GA/Tellus frame. I took 6086 damage, had 10720 ammo costs and finished at 74 seconds and got an S-Rank. I was getting much better stats before that, but I kept getting A-Rank. I remembered that damage costs varies with how expensive your design is, but that doesn't seem to be a big factor in this, either. If it is, there's definitely something else that I'm missing that's bad enough to the point a 0 damage, 10k ammo costs and 61 second run can turn into an A-Rank.

From the experience and research I've done, and especially having listened carefully to everything Niji has said both on the forum and in chat, it is definitely way, way worse than what you're trying to convey. I'll take his words over yours anyday.
