  1. I'll pick it up tomorrow, since chances are if I pick it up today, I won't have saved enough time to play it. Reactions round' here sound good. I like pretty.

    Battlefield 3

The community failed me so hard today. Scum everywhere. The teams I was getting from matchmaking were ridiculous. It got so bad there was a game where I wasn't just the only one with plants/disarms on both sides of the map. When we were defending I ended up the only person with kills during one match. I need comrades man. Preferably ones with Karkland, who won't get kicked randomly because BF3 decide to pick a map they do not have. No offense Nom, but it's hard to play with you if I always gotta be worried we don't fall off the basic grid. IS there a way around that? Like if you host?

    EA Hates You

It's how my copy worked o.o All I know is, I paid standard price for what seemed like the normal package (out of the box what everyone else got) and it had a little cardboard-ish card with my code on it. It got me online, and told me I get Karkland along with for buying the game new. That's how it worked for me. Then when Karkland came out, it picked up on mah code, and started downloading at no cost to me.

    EA Hates You

I forgot that some people actually bought BF3 used, even though that was the best way to get screwed out of content possible with this game. I've got Kark because I had a code. You're the first person I've played with recently who even considered a non-code copy.

    PS Vita

Give it: A better selection (comes with time) Option to use Wi-fi instead of 3G A price drop (also comes with time, when the PSV Slim/Go comes out this should hit an acceptable price point) And then I'd pick it up. Other than that, I just don't have interest for it yet. Has potential though. And 2 analog sticks are a big deal to me, honestly, so I saw that as a major step into the right direction for portables in general. Leaving the camera up to predetermined settings, the X-circle-square-tri, or anything else is just a bad idea.

    EA Hates You

EA does indeed hate all existence, but DICE loves me so muuuuuch. So I still buy Battlefield titles. But yeah, most of your post exploded. The Madden Video was pretty eye-opening though, I won't lie. That is a truly new low, even for EA.
  7. Revelations much? I was thinking about Law being involved, but definitely not like this o:

    Battlefield 3

Haven't played in forever, but started with a single match two days ago. Won fast and ended 20/10. Feeling pretty confident to go destroying the world again. Still remember my man VicG, Ethos?
  9. And those will all be more interesting.
  10. You know, the following for this is so small that when information is not put right in front of me like this, I literally forget Virtua Fighter exists.
  11. I'll get the game soon enough, but having not played a fighting game in a couple of years, I'll probably be pretty shameful for like, the first month.
  12. NAMUUUUUU MOTHERFUCKER!!!

    Devil May Cry

Environments do not a game make. And those were the only thing remotely interesting about this game so far.
  14. So the mystery behind the incredulous weather in Punk Hazard is.... Akainu and Aokoji coming to blows. Huh. That's pretty anti-climactic, although simultaneously is says a lot about just how powerful those two are. And that's epicly powerful.
  15. He should be able to helicopter with that. Suicide in style.
  16. Does he still sepukku himself? o.o
  17. Nor does it mean games should be judged on qualities not necessary to their specific genre. Take two fighting games. One has better fighting mechanics, but a shit story. The other has a good story and "decent" mechanics. The former game is still a better game, even if the overall description, on your terms, would mean otherwise. It's the better game because it focuses on what makes it's genre relevant.
  18. @ Ninety I had a basically identical experience with Borderlands 1. I would like to think #2 is just that plus such replay-ability and shinier, more fluid animation; or basically the only two things that Borderlands was missing that mattered. If that happens to be the case it's nearly guaranteed I'll pick it up. Regardless how boring this sounds, I call Axton. He looks like just what I was looking for. Having infinite everything (ammo, health, etc.) as a soldier was fun before, and it made duels fun. It felt almost like a handicap when dueling as Soldier, what with the other three classes having abilities that basically insta-fried someone while I get.... a turret. When I look back I'm amazed I somehow won the majority of my duels. So yeah. Moar turret funzies I bet.
  19. Hahahahahahahahahaha. That dance at the end with his serious voice behind it.
  20. Eh. The island being a fail experiment makes sense to me. Of course, if the Harpy (and friends?) happen to have ice-related powers I might be inclined to believe this is a turf war. Dragon vs Harpy. with current developments experimentation seems a lot more likely. I'm interested to see how powerful Samurai(s) turn out to be, as well as to figuring out what is going on in that research lab. I'm also getting the feeling things here might be related to the Dark Doctor Law's powers. I also, for some reason, have this feeling that they might pull an odd twist, and the lab will happen to not be located on either side of the island, but in another area entirely. I do not know why I think this.
  21. Makes me think there'll be more, and then possibly an important dragon will be revealed.
  22. So much for the Dragon making the team. Also, fat people in haz suits. WHAT-A-TWIST! I guess things just keep getting crazier from here. Though, more importantly, I'm interesting how the throw down with Jabba the Hut, a.k.a. Big Mam, will go down. The little we saw of her crew's abilities were pretty interesting. Turtle Tiger, saywut?

    Battlefield 3

Conquest feels kill driven sometimes though; mostly because that is the only thing that tips the game (when you kill) I've had games where I could consistently hold a majority, if not all, of the points in a conquest game only to have people going negative across the board and losing the round anyway since the enemy unit count was really going anywhere. Obviously putting too much stock in K/D in any BF game is a bad idea, but usually in conquest when you find yourself going negative it means you're doing it wrong anyways.

    Battlefield 3

I always have access to a headset (or Skype) when I play this game. I kind of consider it a requirement, as well as a minimum of two other friends with headsets you you enjoy playing with being a requirement. And since most of my friends have been playing Ac Rev, Skyrim, and other stuff, I haven't played since before the map pack dropped. I'd love to shake the rust off sometime soon. Bug me before I've been in Skyrim longer than 5 minutes and I'll join.
