  1. My experience with Japanese has tought me to not favor one country over the other, with exception of connection speed differences. They have done their fair share of disconnects on me before a loss conclusion, which is not exclusive with Armored Core, but with fighting games especially over the years.
  2. The idea of invading territories alone would be preferred to me. I never liked working with others.
  3. I see. I thought that anyone who knew about both games at the time, should have known by now. It's not a big deal. Anyway, I would say that Tekken has character personality with a storyline of cutscenes and more flashier, which is something that Virtua Fighter lacked on the tradional side of things. However, if you are into more of a yomi, guessing strategy, then you may like it.
  4. Why it isn't a good thing for a five version? Virtua Fighter for 19 years has been the game of choice by the Japanese from the Sega arcades. The issue is that it's a scarce case outside of Japan. So, perhaps this is not for you then? I should remind you that Tekken was inspired by Virtua Fighter, so I don't see how it reminds you of it, since Namco needed Virtua Fighter's engine for their earlier games, Tekken 2 is one of them. And whatever copies which company took from one another further, over the years is nothing new, since all of them do that strategy to create their games. Nothing is original, after all.
  5. Instead of a retail disc, it's digitial download only for the XBL and PSN. A specifc date hasn't been given, but it's set to be released in the summer. Features are online multiplayer (8 player lobby), training mode (similar to Virtua Fighter 4 evolution tutorials), replays from versus (both online and offline play), customizable characters/items (apart of sold separate content), and License mode (challenges). The game itself should be at a cheaper price, due to the age and many revisions in the 6 year period. Here are some videos from the community, if you are interested. http://virtuafighter.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/316791/1

    Devil May Cry

It looks ok to me, so I could rent it. I use to like the series, but it seems it has gone past it's prime, but I disliked the prequels after the second Devil May Cry, instead of going forward. Devil May Cry 3 should have been enough. I never really saw anything unique about both of Dante's appearances, because there are based off of one previous character to the next. In similarity, Spawn comics are much preferred to me.
  7. Yes, because I need as much creative games to replace the fighting game genre. Jeto Moto was liked by me for it's challenging courses and semi-futuristic concept. I see it as a substitute for Scorcher from Sega Saturn, because I felt that it was more in imagination. Sadly, alot of innovative games from the 1990s never was vital in the video game industry, which result in not continuing.
  8. I don't understand, but what was the issue that people had of Armored Core Nine Breaker?
  9. Honestly, I don't like balance to a degree, because it makes aspect of that particular game in less depth. Another aspect of balance that I dislike is when you are suggested to restrict yourself to one or two characters for example, in a fighting game, for better consistency. I feel as though on this subject, if you can be well versed in the fundamentals, then you are able to get by with any character. Character specifics are something I would learn afterwards. I would prefer to challenge my limits, than being confined to them.
  10. I was researching about this, but I haven't heard of it, until recently. Actually pleased that I can have an above average interest in a shooter other than Unreal Tournament. This seems like I can get into it, so I will buy the first one, second later.
  11. http://iplaywinner.com/news/2011/8/11/evo-...ter-series.html My comment from this video is that I hope for the best on the more challenging and refreshing Street Fighter games.
  12. The vast majority of them. I miss imagination, as it was displayed in the past. I didn't change the topic title, but it's more appropriate.
  13. I don't see an issue with less redundancy, but thought that this should have gone further. I haven't kept up, though. At least I will use my ps3 system more next year.
  14. Personally, the fighting games of this generation aren't of much interest and lack the reasonable range of diversity, but I have an exception for Virtua Fighter 5. I would like to see sequels to Bloody Roar, Fighter Maker, Xmen Next Dimension, Star Gladiator, Battle Arena Toshiden, and Bushido Blade. What are yours?
  15. Perhaps I should have been specific in my reply. That is an exception to me.
  16. To each their own, I guess. The purchase of something whether or not it's a living thing should be enjoyed by the owner, at least to my thinking. I don't see it as having the right (I don't believe in the term) but the freedom to do so.

    Animal Rights

Is there of any benefit from this? I'm aware that humans are animals, but I honestly think that since humans always took advantage of other animals whether it's survival or comfort, then there shouldn't be any lines drawn. I personally believe how owners treat their pets is their business. Afterall, it's their property. What are your opinions?
  18. Yes, I liked them too. I don't see the former Capcom employess of Arika working with Capcom again, which I don't think that it's another Street Fighter EX anymore, due to the bad history from the employees in reference. Personally, they shouldn't be tied to the company, especially since their characters have fans. Perhaps it's a sequel to Fighting Layer or something else.
  19. http://shoryuken.com/2011/06/30/street-fig...ighting-sample/ http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/07/0...le_not_for_3ds/ Interesting, this is. I would like to make clear that Arika company were the developers of the Street Fighter EX series. They seem to have an interest for making another one? They and Namco also made Fighting Layer, on the same game play system, which was much better in improvement to me. Characters from there should be added as well, if so of course. Show how the screenshots weren't working. Fixed?
  20. I prefer Street Fighter to have many moves and much better graphics, so I would just choose the Namco version. I'm indifferent towards consistently redundant showcase games usually, but I will make this an exception, since I'm interested. I always believed that since Street Fighter characters were changed to 3D models, it's for the best to have 3D gameplay.
  21. Maybe, I don't know. I would rather have something refreshing and underrated from psn instead of what I'm mostly familiar with, which I don't seem to be getting unfortunately.
  22. I did have a likeness of Gen more for the series, not to mention a couple of other characters, when I was playing it last year still. I hope that Street Fighter innovates itself from over familiarity, should they forward it.
  23. I would like the Armored core Last Raven portable to be for the ps3. I have not thought about buying the portable version of it until recently. However, I can wait and see what Fromsoftware will be doing.
  24. I don't actually care for guns, but learning a couple of them were needed for my job position. To maintain balance with the shotgun was troubling to the point that two people had to prevent me from falling.
