  1. What makes Stealth Missiles stealth missiles? Do those missile-interceptor shoulder units not detect them?

  4. Yea, I assume there will need to be a bit of coordination. I wonder if Operators can see the charge up bar of the Overed Weapons.
  5. I love the Huge Cannon, lol. I would like to see some team work with a huge cannoneer sitting back while cqc mechs with flash rockets and movement jammers ensnare the enemy for easy aim Anyways, this vid is of me messing around with the laser blades and pile bunker from the demo. I use scatter missiles to pre-occupy the enemy, and if they hit, they do a good amount of stagger so the enemy stops for a second making it easier for me to hit.   7. Yea, energy management is one of my major issues atm; I need to work on remembering to tap it while not attacking. With drift turning I practiced it some on my shotgun/pulse gun close range mech, and it didn't seem that tough to do. However, I like staying in the air at med range it seems (so I guess CQC isn't my strong suit lol), so I don't do it often. I'll work on it though. And dual CQC snipers is pretty nice, it's like shotguns in that the fighting is "Hit & Run" style (because you have to wait a bit between attacks), but you have more range to work with.   10. Made a sniper CQC mech after watching one of Godly's vids a while back. Also fiddling around with a roxio game capture thingamajig, and I can safely say the quality isn't great (best when watched on youtube with the large player screen imo). http://www.youtube.com /watch?v=LmBK7pkO9Zg (don't want to have giant screen here) I wonder how they could balance HO gens? Maybe make them add damage to energy weapons or have them cost less (though it may end up being equivalent to the amout you have left over when using them with a high cap)? Maybe switch the resistances and have the HO ones be more resistant to Jammers, idk.
  11. Liking the banter, adds more characterization. Things like the enemy reacting to your attacks would be good, and perhaps everytime you play it could be different based on what route you take. Just random thoughts, lol.
  12. You can beat any leg type with another leg type, its just that certain legs are more suited to fight certain other legs. I assume. I don't have the game yet.
  13. How about 2 or 3 regulars hiring one recruit as a mercenary to do missions and stuff and see how they do?

    I like how it looks when not in the zoomed in mode, but in that mode it seems pretty dumb. You're being chased? Hit a button (I assume), have your plane do a flip and then the enemy is in front of you now. Whatever the story is, I doubt it is better than 5's too, lol.

The fighting scenes aren't the best, but the best parts about the show is how funny it is. Yu Narukami, the MC, is a total badass and is a hilariously indifferent bro.

  17. I have a question unrelated to the rest of the stuff you guys were talking about: Is it possible to have a quick, close range, ground based, quad-leg AC like Redrum from AC4A? Well I know you can make one like that, but I want to know if it is effective. Quad-legs seem to mainly aerial types now though.
  18. Oh so like their turrets. Sounds good. You know what'd be a nice dlc enemy? A smaller version of the Answerer from AC4A. Like LLL size, and instead of the Primal Armor explosion it would do a Mass Pulse or something when people got too close. I don't even have the game yet and I want more, lol.

  21. There will be those pre-order stock weapons still. Also, I am watching a playthrough of Ace Combat 5 (just because), and I think enemies like the Arkbird and Hrimfaxi (or any big sub) would be pretty sweet. I would also like a big aircraft carrier that sends out UAVs and things too. I feel like 4 (or maybe even 8) people vs 2 battleships and an aircraft carrier in Armored Core V would be pretty sweet. Though I haven't seen any St. Elmo gameplay at all :I
  22. ooo yeaaa, Midweight AC with hi cap gen and hi accel booster. Left arm jammer and pulse machine gun, right arm shotgun and pile bunker. This is all the demo parts, and I am having the easiest time I have ever had with the tank. I just need some better aim with the pile bunker.
  23. I've got it and AHP. I usually use the DS, LS, SA, or Hammer, though I may use others if I get bored. I basically only use full sets (not that I can't make epic mixed sets, I just don't like them). I went through the game attempting to make all the armors, and I basically have made all the normal melee sets (still haven't made things like the high rank onsen set).
  24. So would having a mech with a powerful sniper cannon of some sort park right next to a super jammer thing be an awesome defensive strategy? Seems like it would to me.
