  4. "Conquest is about winning" If you want to win that bad then go ahead, do whatever it takes to prove that you can win. Feel good that you had to use something out of your play style/preference. Wining is everything in conquest, I'd do anything to win...anything. So so sad. By all means do what you have to, you won't be proving anything. Why are people separating conquest with free battle? It's PvP, enjoy the game and stop trying to prove a point by being rank 1 in World Map. Whatever happen to the satisfaction of wining because YOU did it and not the broken ass build. The problem with weak minded people is that they LOVE to follow
  5. If 9breakers want the territory they can have it, but I say this to you (actual AC players), enjoy the game. Have fun and don't play against 9spammers. Make your preference build, go to free battle and have a blast with your buddies. Trust me this whole conquest thing is coming to an end soon 

  7. So I was thinking, we should start a thread where we each post our time zones and info so we can sort of get an availability understanding of each other. Exp- PSN- Ultibreaker Time Zone- EST USA Mic- Yes Available- Mon-Fri-11am-1:30pm & 1am-3am Sat & Sun- 3pm-2am Language- Bilingual (Spanish & English) Most of us in here are planning on forming a team or joining a team, ether way chances are you'll probably be in a team. Seeing how that is the case in this game why don't we do this. Please be proactive and demanding on this topic. With enough demand we might just make it happen here amongs us in ACU. Ok here I go... It's should be without a doubt that we are here in ACV to compete or unite and co operatively play the game. With that much said why don't we make (here in ACU) a league where we compete against each other (team based) and challenge one another (1vs1). This is a rough idea on how the team based league should work, also please post your feedback on how you would like the league to be. Thank you... Season- Consist of 3 months 12 games per team. Games- Consist of 1 Team based (5vs5) per week. Rank- Your team will be ranked according to victories within Division Division- 2 teams within a Division (depending on the amount of teams that are willing to participate) Post Season- Depending on amount of divisions (participants), 1 representative team (best ranked) from each division. S(#)TC- This is the championship, it's named depending on what number season you are in; exp, S4TC (Season 4 Team Championship). I'm pretty sure you guys can come up with some creative stuff for the S#TC.
  8. The only thing you guys are doing is pretty much telling everyone on this forum that uses HO gen to stop using them because of this and that. When I first read nijis post I thought "dang I guess I'll try HC or BT gen". And judging by what you guys are saying I guess your "aggressiveness" remains, but...still kind of downgrades the HO gen to like almost unusable. I really can't believe those smart f***ks in FromSoftware were that stupid to negate it that obvious where it'll be stupid to run HO like Niji stated. Soooooo if they did keep it in the game, it's safe to say that those smart f***ks in Fromsoftware have a specific type of audience for HO gen which if used to it's maximum capacity (Exogen) will mostlikely make it look....................usable

In short words what he's trying to say is that just because of the jammers, you don't neccerally have to switch your whole style which in some cases a particular style is using HO gen maximize your movement. Yeah HC gen allow you to whore QB a little longer (3-4 more QB's on max EN than a HO gen at max), but it's on how you play. The addition to Gen jammers was just added or better yet became more relavent, so yeah I do kind of see the importance of choosing gen wisely according to an opponent. Then again you really can't counter pick cause half of the time you won't know what your up against. I think Godly your basing your argument on the fact that you prefer to play with HC and it just happens that it's important and (opinion wise) wisely to be protected against gen jammers. You mentioned you need HC for your "aggressive" type of game play. Check this guy out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYDGfUWPoO8 It seems that he has HO gen which allowed him to regen to max within like 5sec and allowed him to "continue" aggression type game style. This is what Exo argues. And in the case of gen jammer the only thing actually protecting him from that jammer is skills. The ability to recognize or identify a potential threat. Put it like this, to conclude this whole HC vs HO debate. If you are very skillful (which trust me Exo is, ask Niji or anyone that played against him), you will be ok either way. Your chances of victory will not be determined by which type of gen you use but more like how well you use it.......FIN
  10. The more I think about it the more the 1vs1 do sound a little off. I like the whole 4vs4 idea where as the best team will get the spot as "Top team of the month". But that's it. I can't imagine having a different team every month. But then again as a whole unit working together that would be ok seeing how it'll be nice to work with everyone in the team(20).

Well yeah the AC of your choice for a 1vs1 should be something you're comfortable and appropriate for the matchup exp-not a tank with every weapon in the game against a lightweight with just 1 pistol. Your role in a team doesn't determine what you use forever in that team. I'm pretty sure let's just say myself (prefer to be an iU) its going to have many roles according to how the coordinator sets it up. Because of my style (hypothetically) of most of the time being an iU he'll put me in as a GS (Guard/Safety) and call on me if need be or just stay guarding the pilot assigned to SA-D/O (Support Assist- Defence/Offence). Your role in the team doesn't mean what you can or cannot use in a 1vs1.
  12. I kind of see where you guys are coming from in terms of the judging. My outlook on that is you are not being judged, overall the focus is to encourage members to be better if they want a chance to be in the top team for that month. Anyone can slap on dual battle rifles or whatever they feel is cheap but actual skilled players can react and win because of their "skills". I remember I use to run 1 vertical missile, 1 rifle and 1 canon, that's it. I remember playing an obviously super fast tank (Jap) with dual Marvs, VTF missiles, and I think flares. Super f***ing Jap cheap, with 50k + AP. Yeah I lost the first 2 rounds but it was close. After altering my approach to beat her(yes it was a female Jap), I beat her 2 times and we left it 2-2. I won ACO tournaments with the same set-up against plenty of dual rifile hores or whatever. Not saying I'm the best blah blah blah, but skills consist of waaaay more than just weaponry. Whoever is on that top team won't be there because he's AC has dual karasawas or super defense everything but because he know how to use that to the finest and thats who we need in that top team to have a greater chance of victory (not guarantee). Our team will not be made over night, it'll probably take a month or 2. We are going to carefully select players not just let them join for the fun of it. I'm talking about the top team. Anyone is welcome to join in the sub teams and hopefully learn and get better with their commanders. I'm looking for that main headline top rank team baby!!! Our team emblem the second you start up your game XD lol
  13. I have a quick suggestion. Hey Niji if you can, it would be pretty cool seeing how ACV consist of teams if we had the option to add our team name in our ACU profile, you know like under your PSN/Live ID. On a side note; I have a big imagination so work with me. When I start a team this is what it'll consist of •The main team will consist of the top 5 AC pilots in our overall team of 20 •That particular team will have no leader but 3 will be the commander of the other 3 sub-teams to balance strength out. •The other 2 will be "Coordinators" in the main team, (choose who goes where and what type of gameplan to use according to the match). Exp- Let's say I'm a coordinator in our team and I see we have a Defending match to do, well as coordinator I'll appoint a gameplan. Let's say 2 iU (infantrating Unit), 1 GS (Guardian/Safety), and 1 SA-D/O (Support Assist-Defence/Offence). So according to the setup, 2 pilots (iU) will be rushing in within range of pilot #3 (SA-O) that will be "Supporting" them with Sub comp, jammers, sentry guns etc. Or in another instantce where in this case pilot #3 will be (SA-D), Assisting them with a Sniper canon, rail gun, extra backup infantry (Heavy AC or Tank), etc. Pilot #4 will be GS which he's role is to guard the SA-D/O or play as safety which is be under immediate orders of the operator weather is to flank, switch positions and help out the iU's. •The Sub-Teams can have their own emblems for their team. •Every month there will be a oportunity for whoever wants in into the top team. If a member from a sub team has gotten real good and wants in the main team, he/she must beat a member of the top team 2 out of 3 in a 1vs1. If he or she succeeded then it's a switch and the member from the top team falls to the sub-team. Do not get it confused, sub teams doesn't mean they're bad, just means that you are at a lower tier in skill level and there's room for improvement, that's what the commanders are there for. Ok so that was my little ACV Team based battle plan. Determined on the match we'll run different gameplans, determined by our members we'll have votes on whatever. Help each other in Co-op...etc WTF I can't wait :/
  14. Hot dammit people get a grip. I swear you guys worry to damn much. You'll have enough teams and people to play with. The NA server is shared with the EU. AC has never been a AAA title so don't get stupid and sit there thinking that sales will depict the amount of players per console. Yeah new commers will jump in but us old vets will be buying the game too, From never been the type of company to cancel a game especially AC just because of poor sales, there's passion in that company. Look at tenchu, shit they still recently released a PSP version despite the series being dead. If this was Activition owning Fromsoftware, then hell yeah AC would've been discontinued back in AC1. Word of mouth will sale this game even more than what Namco B is doing advertising it. People will catch on how in depth and good this game is. I have like 3-4 friends that never played an AC game in their lives telling me how cool this game is and that their buying it. If and when the reviews start popping up I'm pretty sure it's going to be like Demon Souls...Crazy good out of no where. For all you End of the World pessimist that think there won't be no one to play with, how about you just don't get the game that way your life is just a little less worry free...Gosh(Napoleon Dynamite).
  15. The only reason ACFA is dead is because 1- everyone is focused on ACV and 2- because that game sucked big nuts. All the lag and LW super fast BS...ugh. There's only 2 games in the entire AC history I've quit on and that's ACNB because of the ridiculous over heat and ACFA because of what I mentioned. I've been keeping up with this game pretty consistent and trust me ACV won't fail, it's way better than AC4/ACFA and there's waaaaaaay more community interaction, exp- "REAL" teams play, DLC, technicality, immersion... I can't believe you guys said that :/
  16. Somehow I'm excited about that . Japanese players will do literally anything to win. One or two players here and there ok, but come on!! The whole community? Americans have more flavor and pride to get that big W, I know I do .
  17. Judging by your video "Godly" you are using low consumption boosters. Yeah you can spam like that all day, which I was trying to point out to Griffon that it is possible to spam with low consumption BUT not as much with high accl. It drains way too much. Your're pretty good on that video, I play using the dual rifle because it doesn't do too much damage. I just do it so I can keep the match lasting a little longer, the AI for the tank, mid, and quad is pretty bad. You're more like bullying them with that retarded high power shottie and pulse gun.
  18. What kind of boosters? High accl, high power or low consumption? I'm not saying you can't spam QB, you can...it's just not as effective as in FA cause it doesn't have that exaggerated power. I use the mid in the demo and I QB spam with the high accl boosters but not to the extremes of FA and that's the answer I was giving Griffon.
  19. There's only 2 ways to spam QB in the demo, very light mid or lw with only 2 guns (high accl boost) with vital generator or enough weaponry but low consumption boost. OB is very necessary this time around to keep a steady fast flow, not just by QB'ing
  20. More En is good and what they did with the M Legs is good too. I can see why they did it, they are trying to make the Mids in the game more of a standard where it's fast enough to keep up but not as fast as a lightweight. Right now as it is a lightweight can run circles around a mid. Spamming QB in this game is way different than FA. FA had that crazy power where you can spam QB and end up in the other side of the map, here u can spam it but prepare to run out of EN quick unless you have low consumption boost which doesn't get you too far. If you want to keep up with a lightweight as a mid high acceleration boost would fit you best but are drainy. the nerf to shottie, pulse guns, and gats was necessary, if you been keeping up the the ACV videos online you'll see that it's being abuse cause it hurts ALOT. What needed good change got buffed, turning speed of sniper canon scope, EN weapon charge time, rifle atk pwr... Trust me this game is way far off from being like FA.
  21. Ok so all the arms got a stability buff, but how do TE and KE compare to Ce in terms of stability? Do CE arms still have the most in stability? How far off are other arms? I remember CE were like 210-240 while all the other arms were 80-130. Another thing is how much more EN did we get? Does it show in the generator stat, where for exp the UGN-70/ho Vital had 17030 and now with the patch it shows more?
