For the PS3, the best way to improve matchmaking would be to (as a group on GameFAQs have done for the US server) create a PSN chatroom and get the team leaders (and maybe a couple of other members) to join it. If everyone's in the same place, communication becomes easier, as does coordinating attacks with defense.

And EU has even less players than NA. I've suggested in a couple of different places that we should get as many people to post complaints to Namco support as possible, trying to get the servers merged, or at least an explanation for why they can't.
