i heard also from gamefaqs forums for awhile certain people howitzer rushed other teams on psn which seemed very effective so it cant that bad of a weapon.
There using them for quick territory rushes not PVP. They run in blown up the 5 Helies And take the Territory in under a minute.

The reason for the views with no replies is because it's a cookie-cutter build. Most people that post(I assume) do research. If you had you'd know that heavy RJs, dual USG-23, and dual lotus are very imbalanced. The community here(and mostly everywhere else) don't like people who use them.

They need more VS's and snow. Don't integrate single an multi-player as its doomed to fail (Dark souls and Demon's souls were the only games that I enjoyed for a long period of time). I enjoyed the first one a lot and the 2nd one had its moments but lost is flair within a month.

In most cases people want this game because it's an extremely customizable mech-game. If people use the same builds what's the point of making them customizable? Comparing this to a fighting game just doesn't really cut it as there aren't 500+ characters to choose from. Even then, a lot of the times it's just different skins with the same moves/style.

There's a search bar for a reason, so use it. But since I'm here I'll answer. In game just to let you know the select/back button is your friend.
-It tells you the type of damage the weapon uses. Kinetic Energy, Thermal Energy, and Chemical Energy.

-No it's a Laser rifle. Pulse weapons shot blue shots, except Karasawa is they only Laser weapon that shoots blue shots.

Most people on here don't do blade matches to begin with so you're probably straight. But even if they were some people from here they were most likely fucking around anyway. I find pure blade matches boring anyway unless its punch tanks. Though that could be the liquor, I miss playing that with Jak.

It might be just preference but I can't use high Cap Gens as the EN output is too low for my liking, even in scan mode I feel like it takes forever to regain energy. It's probably because I played 4/FA do much I can't have a low output generator. If I had more than one CE weapon I would consider it, but also it's behind my SC so it's only useable after I drop or purge it.

RJs don't get stunned very easily like bipeds so virtually no uses anything but RJs and quads. It's not much a problem for me because quads are my favorite leg type since the early gens. Flash rockets leave your FCS broken for a good 10-15 seconds and they can just pile that with every hit. If they made it maybe 3-4 seconds it wouldn't be that bad. They're basically anti-Tank weapons to because a Tank won't be able to run away for very long til they catch up. Some people say to just run from it, but that's a lame excuse to back up using them. In a Conquest mission using it on someone means it's now 3 vs 4 or 2 vs 4 or even 1 vs 4.

Yes most do have a secondary KE defense but because of how much damage Gatling guns do plus the fact the are the fastest firing KE weapons and have about the same range as rifles makes them extremely dangerous. Shotguns do a very good amount of damage and they stun everything that they hit. Combine the too and you have a one man wrecking crew. The shotgun stuns the enemy making him immobile for a second which leaves the Gatling gun free time to rip him apart. It would make sense to use more TE weapons because most people use RJs and Quads but they're not as fast as a LW nor have the turning capability and most LWs run shotguns and Gats. Pulse guns and Plasma guns are really the only exception because laser have slow muzzle velocity unless you charge them. Pulse guns are basically TE shotguns with no stun but have a blast radius and a little bit father range. The problem with them is they can't scratch most Tanks or HWs. Plasma guns are very good against LWs because they have such a huge blast radius that its a good 'stay away from me weapon' as LW have little to no TE defense.

Gatling guns, shotguns, and pulse guns are your best friend.

There's no such thing as too much KE. A single shotgun can take out a couple AC's as long as they aren't MW bipedals, Tanks, or the occasional HW bipedal that has decent KE. Considering all the firepower you are running, a single shotgun does a LOT for you. I really don't see a point in exploiting TE weaknesses in this game unless you planned on running a LW bipedal with minimal weight in weapons.
Most people run a quad or RJ set as you said in another thread which usually have little to no TE defense. Plasma guns and pulse guns, which are basically TE shotgun, also have better range and explosions. I have an offensive sniper quad that uses a shotgun but it's not set up to push people away.

It's a Defensively minded quad with fast ground speeds to move quickly away from highly populated area's and snipe from a distance. The only question I have is what to put behind Salem as I want something Close range with stopping power. I thought about a shotgun but realize that I have to many KE weapons so maybe a pulse gun or HEAT Howitzer might do.
