((basic strategies))

1000 to 700 - use a combination of both sniper weapons or sniper cannon with missiles for solid poking.

700 to 500 - alternate between sniper cannon and zook depending on the opposing frame and movement shown with left side armament best suited for the situation.

500 to In your face - time zook and sniper shots until you can escape with 2nd staged ob qb's ((Vs arena with cover greatly assists with this))

In 1.6 the only main advantage to the kraken side compared to schedar side is it's 12 QB duration, slight QB speed boost, and equip costs which get nulled in the air with its around or over 3k higher boost cost and despite 4 having no gen burst still manages to punish poor EN management leaving us with the Duration which I can hardly tell the difference. Frame looks OK, but given the weapons, you might want more out of your arms. AN03 got a boost in 1.6, but I still think they're below HILBERT/SS-A in terms of weapons handling. Plus, they'll raise your AP and over all def.

 

Y03 is a terrible FCS. Go Y01, AN05, or HOGIRE[more close range oriented]

ALIYA/B might run with SS/G, but I've never gone for it on a quad. I prefer to just dash off and recover once I've botched up in-close with a quad. And instead of getting into a long girddy fight, I'll like to hit and run. However, you've got a lot of output, and your fighting style might just match the AC better.

I like your long ranged set up, but WBP and DEARBORN seem less reliable. You don't have much to work with mid range, and vs a LW, you'll probably struggle if you can't keep away. HILBERT arms will let you run the much lighter CANOPUS in place of the zook. You won't get a massive damage increase out of your arm weapon on your opponent when DEARBORN breaks the shield, but you'll probably deal more damage overall.

 

Another option is to run rifle in place of the ANSR and a shotgun in place of the bazooka. It's much lighter and probably more effective at close and mid range.

Never tune normal thrust. Put it into QB.

Well i don't have HILBERT/SS-A but if you meant HILBERT-G7A they, after giving them a run, were a nicer fit given the speed the zook can now lock on with compared to the slight loss of turning speed.

 

on note I usually use the sniper rifle and cannon for mid range given the good overall mobility of the quad and the projectiles speed allows for solid damage through pa and a rhythm to QB with.
