Nomrah
I think he's showing someone didn't put on enough thermal paste, or he just toasted his ps3(?) doing who knows what, or both? Mom
Putting on too much thermal paste more likely.
Artdeux
It's not too much paste TM, it's way too little. 6 years of operation has essentially evaporated all the thermal paste from the chips. The PS3 was spinning its fan pretty hard on PS2 games of all things, so I figured it was time to open it up to see if it was the paste that was toast or if it was just dusty. Turns out it was just the paste. Edited December 16, 2013 by Artdeux
The Talentless
6 years of operation I don't see what the problem is here. At least yours had yet to ylod unlike mine. Edited December 16, 2013 by The Talentless

Pendragon
I've had mine since launch. I sure hope it isn't having the same problems. The fan is running quite loud.

SUMERIAN BLOOD GOD
MY PS3 DIED ON MY A FEW MONTHS AGO. STARTED SHUTTING OFF RANDOMLY AND THEN IT STOPPED TURNING BACK ON. I CALLED SONY AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED AND THEY SAID I WAS BASICALLY FUCKED AND HAD TO SEND THE CONSOLE BACK TO THEM. THEY SAID IT WAS $90 FOR THEM TO TRY AND REPAIR OR THEY'D SEND ME A REFURB BUT I WAS LIKE FUCK THAT I'LL JUST GET A NEW ONE LATER SINCE I CAN'T AFFORD TO DROP A FRANKLIN ON A GAMEBOX RIGHT NOW.
