Master P Rayer
guys i found that the placement of weapon between left and right affects speed. i loaded EKHAZAR design from company tab. armed RA and LA with GAN02-SS-WR (first rifle by default sort)notice that you get 7750 for average speed change RA with 047ANNR (second rifle by default sort)notice that you get 7866 for average speed change back RA with GAN02-SS-WR and change LA with 047ANNRnotice that you get 7852 for average speed!!! it seems your ac move faster with 047ANNR in the right arm, while it's slower when you put it in the left arm. anyone know to explain how this works? SUMERIAN BLOOD GOD
Depends on if you were restabilizing to (0,0) for each change. Aerodynamic properties of parts also affect speed, though there isn't a listed stat for it; you just have to figure it out on your own. It's why full lahire is faster than full sobrero even though sobrero is lighter.
Harakiri Tiger
The Speed stat adds up your speed in all 4 directions, left/right/forward/backward, and then generates that number. When you switch weapons you're probably imbalancing your AC in one direction. When you're imbalanced you lose speed in one direction and gain speed in another, but the you lose less than you gain. Hence, the speed stat will go up. You'll continue to gain speed until you've gone 9 integers to an extreme on both axis.
Falco
Weight affects stabilizing, which is why heavies can have 0,0 by default and sobrero has like 9,-10 or something, weight is off.
Master P Rayer
i see so each core/parts have their own (+- xx, +- xx), even though they are visually identical between left and right?
Nisoth
Most schematics have some kind of stabilizers equipped from the get-go, so changing weapons left and right would change the balance differently. If you de-equip your stabilizers, you will find more consistency in the left/right balance of the weapons.
