Forum post I made that includes a several part video series (Big Sugar) on the human rights abuses in the Sugar industry.
It's sometimes refreshing to get another perspective.
Remember, if you say anything against traditional Afghan culture, you are a racist. It's also probably an emotional attack.
The whole debate is too much stupid to watch, so I'll give you the highlights of my favorite Republican.

#1. I'd begin drawing down regular forces in Afghanistan. I'd put the primary combat load on U.S. Special Forces/Operations (who are more than capable of handling the combat mission in Afghanistan). I'd retain a presence of regular forces to act as trainers and advisers to the Afghans until they feel confident enough to step up to the plate, for maintaining security, and push them on getting there.
