Sometimes I feel Berserk at this point has become a vehicle for his own unfulfilled desires in life regarding family. You could say he's married to Berserk, and with marriage you tend end up with children, so basically we start to see multitudes of kids show up in the middle of the Berserk fantasy experience, Gut's acting as the caretaker for these youth. All sorts of childlike antics, pirates and mermaids and things, the stuff you'd normally tell your children but in this case Miura's fictional children actually live it!! Now he's got little wizard girl having a bashful crush on the much older Guts, and the crews heading off to fairy island.

haha yeah cus I don't think he could handle it. Knowing Miura though something pretty fucked up could happen, unless that's the sort of thing we could only expect from early 90's Miura, he's probably got kids now.

Finally a new Berserk that feels like its really moving somewhere, favorite chapter so far since the hiatus. For two reasons, the focus on Rickert's predicament and the intrusion on Falconia.

First TRV I actually listened to front to back without skipping around, I was sucked in for sure. Man now I want to see some of these matches that were brought up though. Anyways a great listen. I'm stoked for this, setting up for the most engaging TRV easy. And It'd be great if Raor would get in on another session concerning the Midwest tournies. But I strongly agree with the others points, primarily TM on just showing up when you need something and the "huddling up" that's been going on over at ACL. The TRV discussion threads over on ACL that a few of us here at ACU noticed and contributed towards honestly would have gotten an even stronger reaction if it had just been posted here at ACU.
