  2. Some people aren't going to think that it's absolutely awesome that 1v1 is literally rock, paper & scissors now. I don't get why you have to try defending the game on an obvious flaw, because ruining any form of competitive play in that match type isn't exactly a good substitute for lack of high tier part variety. It does make the team play much more flavorful, but 1v1 has always been the main form of play until now, so it's kind of going to be a big deal to some people.

I probably could've worded my last post better, but I think it still should've been pretty obvious that I didn't mean it in such a literal way. Point is, people like me and Niji who will communicate, are going to steamroll everyone who doesn't, no contest. I'm not talking in the casual sense.
  4. ACV actually promotes and requires communication, though. You don't see all these PS3 players here hyped up for the team aspect of the game? It really doesn't matter who chooses what console, there will probably be plenty more dedicated players this time. The VoIP for AC4/fA was also garbage and hurt mic usage, that doesn't seem to be the case this time.
  5. I started playing around with HBS in FFA for the first time ever, it's been pretty good because not enough people have used Assassin. It's even better when sound whoring at the same time because Assassin + Ninja players are seemingly rare. I switch between patroling and running around, I only listen for the beeps and almost never pay attention to the monitor unless it's obviously picking up a corner camper somewhere. I don't know how much of the screen it covers when used on other assault rifles, but it's barely noticeable for me to ignore on the FAD. I've been able to win FFA consistently without having to directly abuse the spawn system, so I'll probably have fun with these lame classes for a while.

  7. Crash, Crossfire, Strike, Overgrown and Highrise, huh. It would've been cool if they planned on more than that and did have a dedicated game type, but I guess that's OK. I'd pay whatever stupid price if they do release them.
  8. The bars on the top left and right of the circle represent ammo and even have a number show up at the bottom of them for a moment when you fire your guns. I think the bars even flash red when you're almost out and the color shouldn't be there at all when you're completely out. It's not at all difficult to pay attention to ammo this way, and even then, scan mode can be flicked on/off in a split second. Start using cover more or something.
  9. I think I found a tiny glitch on the executive skin. It's in the notification options (which probably nobody uses), some of the checkmark boxes are going crazy.
  10. Well, I do now. Googled it, thermal on any LMG apparently lowers the recoil and can make it go poof if set up right. I have no idea if that's something they would ever patch, but I will be abusing it like no tomorrow pretty soon.
  11. Yup, those are always my go-to perks when I use an LMG now. It helps against any of those mobility issues and turns monsterous with the speed proficiency.
  12. It does have recoil, but it's still very little for it's rate of fire. I want to get the stability proficiency for it sometime. Anyway, here's my MOAB. Me and nob were just trying to level up our M60, I wasn't trying for this at all. When I was at about 14 kills, I was almost killed by Dead Man's Hand again and just scoffed when I looked at the scoreboard, thinking something stupid was going to kill me. It felt like moments later that I was pressing right on the directional pad and blowing everyone up. Then I died to somebody who didn't even go positive, which goes to show how sloppy I was actually playing. I think it was a lucky match, but it's still an MOAB with the epic M60.   13. I'm still getting frame skips because I get host often, I'm probably going to drop this game if they don't fix this in the next patch like they say they will. People calling in killstreaks also seems to blow my PS3 up, it's been frozen twice from stealth bombers. Everything goes perfectly smooth when I'm not hosting. Meanwhile, Dead Man's Hand is obnoxious. It is the Javelin glitch from MW2 put into scrubby deathstreak form. I didn't think twice about it until recently when I've had a 16 and an 18 killstreak ended by people who died over 30 times at the end of the FFA matches. I should have broke my 22 streak by now, but deathstreaks are always what end up wrecking my game and putting me into a bad mental state afterward. Even Painkiller wasn't this horrible. I'm gonna give up on trying hard to get an MOAB and let it come naturally.

  15. I don't think I'm entirely done with this game, but I won't be reactivating my account anytime soon. I've been very busy, and nob quitting kind of put me off a bit.
  16. It's called spectating. There is no such thing as replay in 4th gen AC. Anyway, amusing gameplay. It doesn't look like Fated has even half the talent he would need to back his words up, unsurprisingly.
  17. I honestly don't like Recon Drone either, but it's easy to hide from getting tagged if you do happen to have Blind Eye on and they can be shot down like any other air support, fortunately. It's no hassle for me to choose all those perks and equipment for ghosting classes only because I run Specialist all day, though. I played a little bit of S&D and got pretty annoyed when I saw ballistic vests were in use, though. That was pretty evil. I also still think assault streaks are bad. Anytime I've used them against anything that wasn't a full team of recruits, they were countered by Blind Eye, usage of buildings and shot down, both player-controlled or AI, airstrikes; everything. Predator missile was the most useful one I've had so far, only because it flawlessly takes enemy support down before unlocking the Stinger and can safely blow up support like pave lows without Blind Eye, or as a buffer for anti-air in general so you can blow many things up very quickly. It reminds me of my RPD / Stinger class with Predator Missile in MW2. The enemy team could not get a single thing up in the air, ever. Not even a UAV. So, I guess it's actually less of assault streaks being terrible themselves and more of anti-air being extremely good this time around. That's at least how I feel and what I've seen so far.
  18. I wouldn't be surprised if our servers go past a million and the lag becomes unplayable. If it does, I'll just keep my playing anytime around 2:00 - 10:00 AM for a couple weeks, when the traffic is low. It worked real well with BO1.
  19. Well, that's messed up. I tested it a few minutes ago, it really does nothing. I could've sworn that the gun has been solidly performing better online. I guess I should be happy since the recoil is nothing for me either way. I'll start using the attachments and focus proficiencies later to see if I'm losing my mind or something.
  20. AK-47 has very little recoil with Kick, the visual just makes it look worse than it really is. After 300 kills, I apparently have a 27% accuracy with it. The FAD is also pretty awesome. It has a faster ADS like the Enfield in BO1 did. The 40 bullets and rate of fire make it pretty good at closer ranges, and it has a crazy good reload cancel time to keep you ready without SoH. And did anyone know that putting an underbarrel on the CM901 increases it's rate of fire to 750?
  21. This happened to me three times this morning. If I didn't enjoy the rest of this game as much as I do, I'd have already smashed it into pieces and flushed them down the toilet. Edit: Video link removed.
  22. I had the two attachments proficiency, silencer and rapid fire. I try everything I can with it though, the gun is good enough to where it hardly matters.
  23. It isn't the gun's performance, it's my inability to handle it. I haven't really done well with a semi-auto since the M14 in CoD4. I don't know what changed, but I can't multi-task the aiming and rapid tapping anymore. My aiming and reaction time have been horrible in general ever since I've picked this game up, though. I'm not sure if I'm just being lazy, or if not having the maps memorized really hits me that hard. I have to actively think hard about where I'm going, which is really taking away focus on actually shooting. If that makes sense. Probably doesn't. Anyway, I threw up a couple videos to make sure everything is working properly. Also, nob, I wanted to record you instead since your gameplay is probably x10 better, but I just now found out that I apparently can't view another player's perspective in MW3's theater mode, only 3rd person. So if you ever have a great match that you want me to record, you should put it into your vault and I should be able to do it properly from there. Edit: Video links removed.
  24. Well, Stalker definitely beats out Steady Aim for assault rifles and LMGs. I really, really like this perk. I've been using specialist so that I can get Marksmen too, they make LMGs so good. Though I've tried Steady Aim with the PP90M1/P90, hipfiring seems as great as ever with the right weapon. I also tried Marksman with a 50. cal ACOG, that was pretty great. Need to be careful about Assassin Pro folk, but Quickdraw in the same slot really helps to cut that number of people down. I probably won't even touch Sitrep/Dead Silence until I have a better audio set up.
