Well yeah. I agree. I thought it was alright on my first play through. Once you do it enough times though you realize how annoying it is. I think Cathedral is the only map in the game where I feel like I would be ok with it if it wasn't in the game.

Cathedral is dumb. Fuck that place. It's annoying. Later levels are better. I like Castle, graves, peak, archives and Valley a lot.

Yeah, the later bosses are way better. When it comes to levels, I'll prob say the same too. Dungeon and profaned capital are cool. So is valley, that place is dope. My only complaint, which is not a huge compaint, is that theres so many bonfires in castle. It's like you clear a room and a hallway and there's another bonfire haha. Beginning levels arent that great imo save for undead settlement. Fuck cathedral.

Ya I don't have issues with poise being how it is now at all. I still get to embarrass dudes with parries. When it comes to enjoying the game, I find that I have the most fun either ganking or invading. If duels seem to be getting stale for you, try out invading. Which curved swords we talking about? shit like scimitar/falchion? It's not like those weapons weren't used much before anyway. I remember Mike running falchion a lot on his bean pie guy, but other than him I really don't remember seeing those much. I ran painted guardian in ds1 a few too, but not as much as other weapons. I haven't used much of normal curved swords in this game though so can't comment much. I certainly haven't seen them being used much. I do plan to use them more often on my quality build. I'm particularly looking at carthus, sellsword twinblades and crescent sword. My quality build rocks the turban anyway, so at least it'll go with the outfit. If you meant curved swords as a whole, Katanas are still strong. Mura is strong. exile greatsword is strong.

I'd have to watch the video again, but my boy was telling me how Decapre is in this trailer. I wonder if she'll be playable again or if she'll be a story prop lol.

Personally, I think casting time is fine on grs. Everytime I have gotten hit by it, I always felt it was a result of something I did, not of how fast it was cast. If we want everything nerfed, the player base will just gravitate toward the next thing. At that point, everyone will run all the same things and we'll get even less variety.

soul level definitely does not matter. I've been asking guys I get placed in arena what their soul levels are. Lowest I found was 130 and highest was 200 so far before I stopped asking. I distinctly remember there being a 173 also, and a bunch of 150. I wouldn't mind avelyn damage staying where it's at so long as it didn't track so well. I mean, for now, I'll just deal with it.

I need to stay away from arena, my 2 other characters are not even near being done! I also decided that the brotherhood of blood is the only covenant I like. I'm gonna try to take a break from doing too much arena to level up other characters. At the very least, I should finally get the other rings I use to +2 also on my main file. At 3mil+ sm and doing arena, I should not be under equipped lol. EDIT: Mike's set up took a big hit with that patch. From totally shitted on moonlight hard. If they wanted the sword nerfed, they should've done 1 nerf, not 2. The sword pre patch was annoying to deal with for me (when it was cmw buffed), but I didn't think it was broken.

I think that spot with the giant sword in forest of fallen giants would be cool. Smelter demon area is also good. Beginning area of bright stone alcove is dope IMO, with the tents. We can fight like men around the sand whirpool too lol. There's a lot of cool places inside drangleic castle also. Dope scenery.

120 is where it's at. Only ppl that need to get higher are casters. I put down 38 points in adp initially and I was still able to kill ppl. When I lost, it's cause I got outplayed, not because I had 32 wasted levels. Something so many ppl seem to struggle with. Everyone wants to blame everything but themselves when they lose haha. There's no ownership anymore. I'm sticking with 120, unless the people I'm gonna play with want to go higher for duels.
