You guys know how DS2 had a different director before Tanimura came out? Well, Shibuya was apparently turning DS2 into something that wasn't DS so Namco(?) or someone else in FROM brought Tanimura in. Tanimura basically just tried to fix Shibuya's mess. (Shibuya is not mentioned in any interviews after the fact, nor does he appear in the games credits anymore). Tanimura isn't too bad. He did the DLC's as a whole, of which turned out pretty solid. (Still not reaching DS1 DLC level, but still good.) As with AC... Give it at least two more years. At least.

At least Sunbro covenant is confirmed. Got that going for us at least, right? ....Right?

Honestly? It doesn't look too bad. But just... Awkward looking? Like, it looks like it's trying to be all the Souls games plus Bloodborne. Ah well, we'll hopefully get like a livestream or something to really get a good grasp on the game beyond three to five second flashes of random bits of gameplay.

Yeah no kidding. Also, Tomasi (Batman and Robin writer) is moving onto Detective Comics in October.

I would say Omega Men is worth checking out. The first twelve issues are supposed to be self contained. Will check out Hellblazer and Black Canary.

Went to my LCS today. Picked up Detective Comics Vol. 6, Grayson Vol. 1, and The Omega Men #1 and #2 for DC stuff. I picked up an Image trade, East of West Vol.1, though I was really looking for the first four issues of Invisible Republic. Detective Comics was worst of the bunch, though that's not saying it was bad. It just wasn't as good as the rest of them, namely due to it being really short. Solid art, great to see Bullock have a decently large part in it. Grayson was pretty cool, really felt like a spy book. Interesting cast of characters, and King really shows through with his writing. The Omega Men were cool too, as written by King. Love the art, quite violent too. Really interested in seeing where this goes. East of West was different. Initially, hard to follow along, but you start grasping what's going on pretty quickly. Love the world it's set in, pretty great in terms of writing. Art is a little... iffy at times, but otherwise good.

Haven't yet no. Black Canary seems interesting, same with uh... Martian Manhunter.

I can however, guarantee Bethesda is gonna hamfist something stupid into the game. Like Skyrim's leveling system. Because I didn't see any Skills tab.

It's more of an annoying tick for me. If you have a dialogue option that is suppose to be X, it should be voiced the way X would sound. I personally don't find the games immersive. I just play in first person view to see what the fuck I'm picking up on the ground.
