  1. Urm...There's no such thing as Cross platform between 360 and PS3, well, not officially. First things first. All the US/EU ACV review is underwraps. They can't release it online till near the release of ACV. Demo never came out in Japan till a WEEK or two before the main release, as I can see, we're on Leap Year so we're still in February. Beg Namco Bandai to localize it and release it, but does it really matter? Meh. I don't think Mechaverse (site formally known as ArmoredCoreOnline) will be going anywhere at all. Namco Bandai left it a bit late with the opening of the site, and quite frankly, doesn't really matter because it is a bit bare compared to the Japanese Armored Core V website It's a Japanese site.

  3. Because it was on before the Japanese comfirmed date and well, you know, since it made in Japan, wouldn't you think they get the game first? That's why we're all "eh?" about it.
  4. February seems realistic and EU would either be Late Feb / early march (hopefully it'll be like a few days after US release, like Dark Souls, but a man can only dream).
  5. Well, Sega is publishing Armored Core V in Japan but Namco Bandai for America and EU. (not surpised as Namco Bandai has been quite busy with the publishing games to America/Europe, even got themselves a lawsuit with the Witcher 2 Developers which they have won quite recently) I tweeted Namco Bandai's Twitter concerning the release date, however I'm not sure I will get an answer but it is something. EDIT: Okay, I'm calling Shenanigans now. Release date for ACV in UK is also the 3rd of January according to IGN.   6. Ah right. UK amazon states that it's coming soon.(which reminds me, I need to preorder it but I may wait till there's more release info and possible shop exlusive content) Still, no idea where some sites slating the 3rd of jan release.
  7. True, I have checked, but still...you have no idea where gaming sites get their sources on early release date, hell! Even Amazon (US) is dispatching ACV on the 31st of December.
  8. By the look of Amazon (US) They're releasing ACV on 31st December. What is going on? If 3rd January release is true, it will be a bit of a kick in the teeth for the Japanese players thinking that they'll have the upper hand in dominating most of the territories by getting the game before the rest of the world. Then again, it probably extactly what they want.
  9. 26th of January is when the Japanese ACV is released. Oh, my money is that you'll get murked badly if you use OW against the Big bosses.
  10. Watched the Livestream and it does show some of the Overed weapons. By the look of it. It really does require some handling and serious team work, especially the SCUD nuke OW as it got some mad cooldown, even after you fired the missile. Still, It looks as if it can take out more than one AC. The Chainsaw OW is definitely instalose if you miss. Not only you lose an arm, you pretty much lose half of your firepower. The Special beam cannon OW is probably going to be a favourite for those who like sniping and defending bases.

  13. I meant when you gain your lock target after you did a PA bomb. Allyiah have the highest camera recovery. Although I could replace it for Soldner head (the second highest CR) and some much needed defence.
  14. Noob is correct with the Generator, it is a gimmick, then again. This AC is pretty much a Gimmick and designed for fun, if it managed to take down a few AC along the way, then that's something to talk about. If I wanted a proper, hardcore design that is intent on winning everytime, I would've never thought of having zooka arms + Kamal on a Lahire legs. I did forget to add that this AC is also designed for PA bombing and that's alone was one of the reason why I picked Linstant gen and Alliyah's head, with KP maxed out, it took at least 30 seconds to get its PA back after PA bombing. I could sacrifice its high KP for a much more better Generator but it would mean losing those valuable seconds. It is true that its PA cability is not extremely high, (7300 in fact) but it still respectably high and with the Alliyah head, the AC have the advantage of recovering camera function from PA, thus having that small window of your opponent not firing at you. This AC could potentially be extremely handy in a team death match, focusing not entirely on stripping the AC down, but rather keeping their PA down while your ally can finish it off. I will follow and test all of your suggestions. Although I'm not looking forward to the Quad suggestions, I have a fond dislike for quad.
  15. I seen one used and tested the combo, but I have a limitless dislike on Raiden arms. Especially when it have something that strip PA to go with it. Raiden arms are evil.
  16. Your advice, although I'm thankful for, but I feel that it is more of personal preference. I have seen you use a sniper cannon a lot and I also know Scatter missiles are one of most common missiles in the game, and I will give it a try. I can never get Sniper cannon to work perfectly on a mid weight or even heavy weight. I suppose it is something that I should work on later. Thank you Tarurus, I will change the tuning to main to side and swap shoulder. I wanted a side that can run out at the same time (or close) as the Dearborn. Muskinggum is annoying as hell and heavy, and the spread side is a bit icky and a waste with a Dearborn. However, I will try your preferred side, NEMAHA.

    Well, the few problem i have is simply due to lack of experience against ssj Ornstein. I'm working on beefing up Ricard's rapier to replace a knife and find a good light armour to replace the Elite armour. When is the patch released it getting tad annoying to see people with fog ring.
  18. yeah, for some reason 'zookas doesn't require massive stability unlike nade launcher. It probably why there's a few lightweights hybrids sporting Brocken. I still agree with bazooka getting little love on hit register and not perfect for online but it can be fun to use in player match and a nice change from raiden arms/kamal which is something close to unspeakable shenangians.
  19. That's the awesome part... you don't get stunned from from firing the zooka and kamal at the same time. I know zooka arms have hard time hitting hence why it designed to be extremely close up and personal or hit and run playstyle. I know judith side is meh, but It does work fine. I tried to find a better sides with out having too much drain.

    Nito was piece of piss. Just stand there and flail your weapon and run when he about to BLAGH area attack on you. There's three skeletons that will attack you on sight, but there's also like two big ones at the back of the room. I used Black knight Sword +4 against him (that was before I realized the sword was really shit, speed wise) I'm having serious trouble with Ornstein and Smough in my other savefile. I wanted to get Ornstein armor but no! He have to go all super Saiyan on me and kick my arse. I hate it when knives is useless against him. I don't get it! Why Ornstein go all super but Smough only got a 'meh' Lighting hammer that can easily be evaded. I kinda expect smough firing lighting spear from his armour nipples or gliding across the room like a pretty ballerina like Ornstein does all the time.

Frame: Aaliyah|Soluh|GAN01-SS-AW|LG-Lahire Internal: Judith|Lintant-G Booster: Aaliyah|Latona|Judith|Rigel/AO Weapon: -|-| Dearborn03|Kamal|Beltcreek Hanger: N/A Tuning: 50: Eng output, Eng Cap, Kp Output, Maneuverability, Lock speed, Turning, Quickboost main, Horizonal, Thrust 20: PA core Recfication 22: Load This thing designed to get right up to your face and blast you with a spray of Kamal followed by a nice pair of zooka shots, inflicting unforgiving amount of damage. Not to mention can cause a few "What the fuck!" moment in online matches. The Dearborn followed with Beltcreek assist create a nasty PA strip and meaty damage. It also got a PA bomb with 7k Pa capability which can cause reasonable damage, handy if you need to conserve your Zooka shots. The problem with this bot is the lack of Flares. It's definitely not ones for rookies and definitely not one for those who doesn't know how to evade missiles or don't know how to second stage. Granted it does have the speed to outrun most missiles, but it would put itself in a very undesirable place. Also it is a lightweight so don't expect it to be a tank.
  22. Fated, I think Rogan meant Hogire side, which is pretty lacktastic and definitely not suited for this type of Mech, if not then sorry. First thing I will say about your design is that it is overweight. If you're thinking that this mech is pure middleweight, forget it, It is heavyweight at best. I tested out the design and kept the fact that it is designed for support in mind. Sure, it won't be fast, but with the weapon layout you use this mech, it instantly loses that support motif and becomes a defensive mech. However! It is a good design and need a bit of work and I understand why you choose those weapon layout. I will start with the Weapon layout first as I find it as just as important than boosters. (which I will get to later) At first I thought you were a bit of a daredevil for using Samsara, the plasma weapons are pretty much shafted due to slow bullet movement. It doesn't mean it useless, it does have it uses against ground hugging mech, the splash unleash ECM which can easily be a set up for a sneaky Dearborn + ogoto combo. Switch the Samsara to the Ogoto side so you have the dearborn missile primed and ready after you fired the samsara. If you have a much lighter mech, I could see the potential use for this combo. A good replacement for Samsara would be a 067 ANLR laser rifle or LR02-Altair if you want something to hit along side with your rail gun. Don't bother adding PA bomb on this thing, it pretty much a instant lose button. The bot got a low energy defence and the speed that you're going, you'll be at mercy against Laser focused bots, my recommendation would be to change the Ekhazar-core for Tellus, you may lose a bit of Ballistic defence, but you gain 1800 to 2k energy defence so it a good trade off. don't worry about the stability, you still be able to fire back nade without any trouble. Boosters. I would just change the side booster for Lahire so you'll be able to keep up your QT game. All in all, it's can be beastly against ground hugging bots, but I can't see it win against perma flight.

    Okay, I've been trying out the Divine Shotel as a Dex Cleric build and I have a mixed feeling about it. Yeah, it bypass the shield with R2, but the damage it dishing out is kinda meh. I have to admit, my Dex and faith is not up there as I was busy beefing the Endurance up. Gotta admit. It works like a charm against Turtlers and heavy armour shield, but I can't see it being handy against everything else.
  24. There are a small handful that are still playing AC4, but not as much as ACFA which been spurt with people playing. I'm thinking of giving AC4 a try some day...that is I get the game again.
