Rats drop humanity but I found out it's only a 12% drop rate even with 410 item discovery.

My bad I misread it and thought you said you move faster at 25% with the ring, I what it does to below 50% and I think this ring, ring of fog, and Rin of favor. Oh ok I didn't actually check my status after I killed her but what's also weird was the secret door to Lost Izalith wasn't open so it confused me, of course I could have joined another covenant and forgot.

Hyper-bowmen were nasty in DS but there's no Morian blade so it's harder for that now. I didn't really like the darksword because of it's weird swing motions but anything Chaos +5 with 10 humanity is going do around 500 damage. Quelaag's blades both boost damage from Humanity, one just does almost pure fire damage while the other does normal damage and bleeding damage. I find the bleeding status effect is WAY better in DkS the DnS, because the max damage that can be done. I actually couldn't tell the difference when I was under 25% but I haven't actually tested it either. I killed the white spider girl and still was able to use the chaos spells? I haven't noticed a difference in my dex file it feels the same to me.

According to Gamefaqs and PtD.com Kiln of the first flame and Anor Lando are popular spots. At Kiln most people are around SL 100-150 but mosty the 120 area for pvp purposes, and most people are in the 60-70 SL range in Anor Lando. I wouldn't use the Moonlight butterfly spear either if you're already using the moonlight blade since both only do pure magic damage. If someone were to fight you with a faith build or someone with high magic defense armor(Channelers or Xanthous) you're SoL. Though having a Pyroflame +20 helps with those kinds of people and so does Crystal magic weapon because it adds physical damage to.

In the Archives is the Tin Crystal catalyst which is dark souls version of the Insanity catalyst but it half's the spell count. If you have the Crystal catalyst in one hand and a different catalyst in the other you can use the Crystal one til it runs out o spell counts then switch to the other one and you have the other have the Crystal took away so there's no wasting spell counts. You could also use the Dusk Crown ring if you don't mind having half health but double the spell count. Spoiler! --Click Here to View!-- In order to get the Crystal Catalyst you need to purchase everything from Big Hat and then he'll freak out when you talk to him again. Save and quit, then head to the spot where seath killed you the first time you fight and Big Hat will be hollowed and he'll drop the Spell white dragon breath and the catalyst will be in a treasure chest in that room with the catalyst. You can also get the rest of his armor and his old Catalyst(Which is 2nd to the Crystal) where he was selling his spells in the library. Anyone try the Great Sword of Artorias yet? I feel like it's the "Ultimate Quality" weapon in this game because it has Para bonuses C/C/B/B but you also need about 20 in strength, dexterity, magic, and Faith to use it.

Yeah you can enchant crystal weapons with Great Magic weapon and Magic weapon AND even Crystal magic weapon, which makes it even more spikey looking. PD I know you made a Sorcerer file, have you found White Dragon Breath yet? So sick.

In the early stages of the game after rescuing Gold Yurt just kick him off the ledge behind him then, quit your game and load it back up and his stuff will be right there where he was. He won't go hostile AND it won't be counted as a sin.

I stated earlier that all stamina regen equipment stacked(Mask/ring/shield), so even when using Iaito/Uchi my stamina bar flew back up so I could keep the pressure on them when I had my few days to try pvp. One of my favorite armors is Orstein's because of the good balance of defense, poise, and weight. With the Dark wood grain ring I'd be a mid weight that moves like a light weight. So I'd have good defense, poise, and move like a light weight. Another thing I've been trying is Chaos weapons and Lightning weapons. A Chaos Iaito +5 does a max of 502 damage with only 10 humanity(most people will run 99 anyway for the defense)! I could run duel Chaos Iaito +5 and not even worry about dumping any stats into strength, dex, faith, or Intelligence. I could put most of it into heath and Endurance so maybe I could have a light rolling Havel armored guy. I haven't tested it out yet but that seems crazy to me. I may use an uchi in the left hand but I'd have Iaito in the right for Fog users. I haven't really tried Lightning yet as there aren't as many things that are weak to lightning except for the drakes, the red dragon, gaping dragon, and Seath(though I might just make one especially for him). EDIT: Oh a combination I liked running was the Paladin's shield(Regens heath),the ring of the evil eye, and the Server or what ever the giant curved sword that drains health with every hit.

Some JPN players specialize in Ripostles in DS. I had the unfortunate plearsure of fighting one and it surprised the shit out of me when he killed me like that. I think shields might have a chance now because some of the shield have incredibly high stability along with the conter attack being a critical hit now to. Also armor in this game also has a bigger role and armor like havel's make tanking a strong possibility. I could being all wrong about this though because my pvp has been limited.

Mine doesn't respawn. Has there been an update besides 1.03?

I'm hoping they keep it in and not try to completely get rid of it, like Treyarch tried to do.

@Ethos The Bandit's dagger has a higher Critical than Priscilla's Dagger at 147 to 100 but Priscilla's dagger has the highest Bleed damage in the game at 500 and does 110 evil damage. Priscilla's dagger also starts with an "A" Param bonus while bandit's is a "B" and it also has higher starting damage. If you plan to get Priscilla's dagger bring fire weapons or Pyromancy as fire makes her visible after she turns invisible. @Ninty There's a merchant at the bottom of Blighttown that sells all kinds of Curved blades/katana's by the water wheel once you join the Forest Hunters. Also the merchant in the undead burg drops an Uchi which does more damage than the Iaito.

Spears are mostly used for turtling which wasn't very effective in DS and in this one it kinda feels the same way . Last weekend when I got to play some online I tore a new one in the guys that turtled. I think it's a popular tactic now because of the Lightning spear found in Sen's. I feel like it's the Crescent Falchion of DS as I've seen lots of people use it.

That's pretty fucking epic Noob. I wish I still had my ps3 so we could wreak some Havoc. If anyone else noticed the blue slash mark when you hit people I figured out it's a critical hit. They've add more critical hits in this game and I'm liking it. Critical hits are; Backstabs, ripostles, Counter Attacks (attacks right after a weapon bounces off you shield) and hitting opponents at the right time (this one is a little harder to pin down because it varies for each monster/person).

I forget the paint world is there to, I usually do it on my way back out, because I want to make the demon weapons.

I wish I had actual internet instead of an air-card it's so lonely....... except for the occasional NPC summon sign, but it's sometimes a sucky npc. Anyway anyone try out the Dark wood Grain Ring yet? Probably one of my favorite rings now, makes mid weights as fast as light weights, and it gives you a cool flip that goes farther instead of a roll. Also making a pure Dex file in this game is pretty freaking hard.
