  1. WHAT? What the fuck? What the fucking goddamned cocksucking piece of little motherloving corrosive assfisting piece of shit? I thought I heard something before that ACV will be fucking region-free. Oh good fucking goddamn lord god with fake angels in heaven we've been had, that's more than fucking 100 bucks.the down the drain. Well, not that I paid for it anyway, but still; I wasted time idling in the menu
  2. Yeah. Emblem and decal-making are getting fun, I must admit. inb4 avenged AC looking through your scope Anyway, allow me to iterate; anyone know how to gain golden, sparkly twinklies? We're always stuck with one. Hahah.
  3. Alright. Thanks for that, I'll come back soon.
  4. Well, they are the Japanese community. I remember watching a SL tourney with people always slapped RF-160 and SFRL70 on their ACs (i can't exactly remember the latter's name, but it's the sniper rifle). They prolly consider the usual territorial wars in ACV as another sort of tournament match; high-tier mode! They did balance LR in their own way though, in a much slower-paced gameplay.
  5. @ Jap and western metagame: I might play DkS once in a while (i stopped shortly after they applied the patch with the twinkling titanites at hueg smith). Speaking of builds, don't we all suffer from diminishing returns at 30 cap? As opposed to DS's 40 or 50 stat peak iirc. I've always had mine on 30/40 though.
  6. It felt like getting stunlocked in Dark Souls. It's not that you'll be locked forever in that situation anyway.
  7. Sorry I didn't see this post til now. I'll try to go in anyway.
  8. Does having a strong defense against a certain projectile increase your stability in some way? Like for example about that stunlock you were talking about earlier; if someone were to hit you with a barrage of gatling gun shells and just rebound off your AC, is stun power neglected/reduced? Might help a bit when you're jammed, since stability is reduced anyway. Just had a hunch when you said that MWs and RJs can get off it easily. Edit: Btw, I've seen that you've changed your message/notification to English whenever you enter the garage, team, etc. How'd you do it?
  9. ^ Yeah, good thing I had that warning about getting jammed when I only had that ACV demo on the first few days of the retail version. Basically if you get your fucking generator jammed with that setup, you will literally be sitting ducks. You can see it yourselves when you try to boost or move while being under the effect of being gen-jammed, to see how much you've fucked up. In any case, I'm liking the Prochrnyi so far regardless of whether I have OWs or not; managing weight has never been that much of a big problem anyway, at least for me. I'll see if I can get away with the Herz and Forte GNE450 as well.
  10. From what I know so far, only tanks can't zoom with kneeling weapons but you can fire twice at the same time, assuming you have another one on your other hand. The other classes can still kneel and zoom, but are mostly inaccurate compared to heavyweight RJs and quads. Quads, while being less mobile, still have superior accuracy and fire rate on kneeling weapons though. As for either a LW anal rapist or another sniper, they might prefer the former instead unless they can cover their sniper effectively; the sniper could be done in seconds if a LW user that doesn't fuck around engages you in CQB; any short-ranged TE or KE-based weapon will kill you outright. I'm not sure if sentry guns can keep up with LWs though (assuming they know what to do with the terrain layout), but it might give you some time and increase your teammates' chance of covering you. edit: added something.
  11. Anyway, can someone clarify this for me? I was trying to finish this story mission against that gun-toting psycho with the cannon OW; so far, it has never been able to damage me directly whenever I stayed underwater. Heck, I even went so far to stay still and only had little-to-no damage, possibly exchanging its base damage for a weak AoE atk; which seems to have been applied whenever that OW's projectiles ended up touching the water's surface. I'm not sure if it's either story-related, some sort of shitty weapon inaccuracy glitch (w/c causes you to get aoe damage cus it didnt hit you; thats if the OW has aoe damage to begin with, w/c i dont know), or meant to somewhat dissipate and scatter around if it ever tried to hit a target hiding underwater.
  12. You can still be a merc regardless of whether you have a team or not, but I'm not sure if it affects getting recruited in story/free/order missions. I tried to play with a friend who isn't a teammate and told me that he couldn't find my name on the list (might be just a p2p problem, but whatever). On a side note, I guess the guides would be completed by the time Bamco starts localizing ACV. The others have already done some that should cover enough for now; it'd be a massive clusterfuck carpetbombing of Japanese Kanji if it didn't have a gradual approach. It'd also be a huge mess trying to recollect scattered info on a hundred-page thread anyway.
  13. Other than jamming, here's how sneaking up on someone works too, I guess. I dunno wtf was the heavyweight doing though, he could've just looked back or at least took cover. youtube.com/watch?v=qQMipmV1pY0&feature=youtu.be&t=8m48s
  14. And here in retrospect I had high hopes for ME3. I found it quite surprising how multiplayer's a bit fun though, despite it having no other reason to include but to milk itself around with a bunch of digital face-slapping dlcs. Overall movement has become more fluid too thanks to that anyway, but I still prefer that clunky sprint from ME2. Either way I won't play it as soon as it gets released. For now there's ACV; robots & creatures irl who look like humans that communicate with frustratingly annoying symbols.
  15. Yeah. I suddenly had an assload of new parts available at the shop due to joining Niji's ACU. On a side note, there's a trade menu in the Team Menu (3rd option). It does feel a bit too convenient, but heck, I spent some hours too grinding at the demo in vain, so I might as well just get to it asap. And for all I know you will still keep all the parts you've bought, only that the items available in the shop during your stay in a higher level group will be reverted to 'locked' when you join in a lower level team.
  16. You might have a lot of trouble with a plasma rifle due to the limited range. Might not even work against players with a good sense and control of ranged battle. IIRC the projectiles were just as slow as your generic, disposable battle tanks' cannons, which can be dodged even by just running/walking from it.
  17. Cool, thanks. I could somehow adjust to ACU's average timezone anyway (if time permits it). Now I just need to refit my cannon fodder mech with new weapons. Not to mention a massive clusterfuck bombardment of new parts appeared on the shop list too and finished the rest of my cash. Talk about a HUEG level jump hahah. We need a King-Allant-sort-of boss fight in ACV too. >: ( Say goodbye to your team level per hit and welcome all the whining from your teammates!
  18. Just joined the ACU team in ACV. I'll try to donate some exp too when nobody's around/when I'm playing (hey, our timezone hates teamwork). Edit: Fucking forgot to ask something; I read something about having a limited amount of inventory on your garage. How do you check your available slots for more random stuff?
  19. They need to be randomly sent out to anyone's hard-earned territories. Or prolly just let them be accompanied by another boss. You might end up just wasting your ammo though, not to mention the time as well.
  20. It seems that they've changed it from the trial version. The territory was removed when I had my ass handed by two ACs during the demo. I wonder how long it'd take until the server resets.
  21. ACV has been shipped out. I might be able to pick it up 2-3 days at my doorstep.
  22. Just wondering if anybody has watched it. It's another real-robot anime that debuted shortly after Gundam UC0079 (after 4 years). The mechs are basically half-assed and half-sized wanzers, and most likely where Heavy Gear got its inspiration from. Although compared to Heavy Gear, Votoms (vertical one-man tank for offense and maneuvers) uses mechs in a less stealthier approach (they're standard vehicles rather than assigned to special forces and such), so expect to see a lot of mecha getting blown up in the process. Not to mention pilots dying inside even before the mechs explode, because their armors are basically origami. I guess you could say that the mechs were pretty much, realistically portrayed in the anime; impractical in general. Anyway, Roots Of Ambition is supposedly the first arc/chapter to happen in the series (storywise), so here goes: I'm not planning on watching the newer series though. It has finally caught that plague; emokids and their whiny shit with robots. Let alone in an arena lol.
  23. Something I got from Jonevangelist regarding OWs. Just look for the ACV category and parts from http://www.ravenwood.jp . I can't exactly put the exact link, as it just sends you back to its home page anyway. "入手方法:ゾディアック全撃破(オーダーミッション及びCP01、CP04、CP06×2 全13機)" ^ Only thing I know is that you need to destroy all of Zodiac by doing some sort of Order Mission. No idea wth is CP01, 04, and 06 though.
  24. ^ http://www.armoredco...sion1_0209.html The only thing I know is that per set is gonna cost for 200 yen (somewhere around 2.5 USD). Fixed weapons (Special items; DLC. Not the fixed ones you'll find in the game) don't take up slots in the garage as well. I did read some stuff about it being fixed in stats (obviously), but are generally better to use while your unupgraded weapons are still in an undesired level, which I think is just kind of like FM5's different upgrade routes for your parts and weapons. Edit: Almost forgot, the whole list should be out by 2/16, says them.
  25. Fuck waters/oceans and the office of shenanigans. The bank just called in, telling me that it'll take at least two more weeks before the renewal process is done. So that's plan B for me then.
