Guys, this game is currently very fucking buggy(alpha build), but its also very fucking fun, seriously, play it with your friends. its not very short on content, either. http://www.youtube.com/user/Dslyecxi has a whole bunch of vids on it, hes not actually a developer, but he is doing a lot of the PR for them. Edit: cod kiddies cant stand the game, then again, its tough as nails, and most engagement ranges are between 200 and 50 meters. sometimes longer distances. and many deathmatch style games in it are really damned fast and brutal. The military shooter aspect is where the similarities end. CoD is an arena style FPS much like UT, Halo, Gears, Quake, Red Faction etc.. Stop being stupid gamers (Slaaneeeeeesh and Duro) Also, this game requires a few friends to be any fun at all. Most gamers shouldn't have a problem with that though. Raor may not like the game though since he's done the real thing so this will either be A) boring or B) not very simulation at all to him or C) All of the above. And yeah a lack of competitive scene really would turn me away from a game like this. I mean I can understand why there isn't (games probably take ages and there's no spectator appeal), but it doesn't mean I can excuse it and carry on playing. This is casual stuff, I wanted to post a tournament video, but I couldn't find it. This isn't a realistic situation at all, just fun gunfighting. I also think there is plenty of spectator appeal if you know what's going on. If not, then it's bunch of people sitting in a forest or planes going in circles, yeah. Mostly though the competitive scene in this games is replaced by a hardcore player crowd, but these groups can be plenty competitive.
