Quad concept 98g

Crimson Fury

Recommended Posts

Bored at work, started speculating about an AC concept. I have an idea for a quad that uses 98g, something I've never really used as I've generally stuck to lgl, gl, gll and geryon on quads and tanks. I'm thinking something heavy with decent defenses but maintaining mobility that's decent enough to gain the positionin required for it's cannon. Thinking standard core type.

This is the starting concept.

Eye3

U4

Macaque

Lf71 or lizard

Limpet or some other ws fcs probably, maybe f73h for range

Vulture2

G91

Ananda

No insides

No exts

98g

Hp

Hp

69h

69h

Suggestions are welcome! Doesn't have much in the means of longish range weapons but these weapons have a large capacity to fuck shit up. I have no idea how the weight is going to be on this thing and I'm toying around with dual R3 rifles maybe but dual hp is just cool and can cause some major upsets.

Anyone have success with 98g on quads? I know it's excellent on tanks but don't think I've seen it much on quads.

Your best chance at running 98G on a quad is probably having the best AP/weight ratio you could get, that way you have as much opportunity to line up 98G shots while on the defensive. Only way I see that happening is having like, 88A legs with UA core and FG arms. You'd want something light for the arm weapons like R2/HP.

Lol there was this guy I played AC with years ago AC3 era and he was so convinced OP-I was the only way to play. He was pretty pissed and confused when I kept beating him with my normal bots, I even tried to show him how much more depth the game had without it but even after all that he couldn't give up the Op-I. I've run into a few guys who liked PLOW too back in AC2 era. Usually guys who use that exclusively aren't that great, and they like to think AI is a good substitute for humans.
