Nisoth
Are they available to 360 users?
Harakiri Tiger
I believe you need a Live Account of the Silver status and an active Internet connection. Then, simply turn on your game while you're connected to XBox Live and it should automatically search for Regulation File updates. Any that you can get will be downloaded automatically to your XBox. If you don't automatically download them, they're probably offline and not there anymore. After that, I believe you have to manually turn them on. Should be somewhere in your game options. Just look around a bit and you should find it.
Nisoth
I'm connected to live as I post this, and I haven't gotten any regulation updates. I guess if they ever were available, they aren't anymore.
Harakiri Tiger
That would be my assumption. I figure it's because of Sega. They've been a very poor distributor for AC in the North American scene. They were always late on regulation files and they rarely put any effort into the AC scene at all. That's a corporation for ya. =\
Magnus
On the bright side, AC5 is coming out soon. Atlus did pretty well with Demon's Souls and 3D Dot Heroes. I can't imagine they'll do badly with AC5.
Nisoth
Indeed, I am looking forward to AC5. I've got all the achievements for AC4 and am running out of build ideas. I'm really looking forward to working with new parts!
sim-al2
That's weird because my friend got the game at about the beginning of this year at least, if not later, and it was downloaded on his game.
Nisoth
Woah! It just downloaded a regulation file! I wonder if I needed to have the update before I could DL the Reg file?
Peffse
I downloaded the latest regulation files just fine recently. I found out why I was having trouble. Xbox Live Gold membership is required.
Harakiri Tiger
Welcome to ACU Peffse! Nice to see you around, haha. I haven't been on AIM in forever. But yah, Sega still hasn't done their AC4 Regulations. AC:fA seems to have them up, though. Kinda wierd that they require XBox Live Gold, though. Nisoth
That must be why I was able to download the file: I had a two-day gold trial going on. I'm glad I was playing AC4 while I had that.
