  1. Ah, okay. That sounds like it would work after a fair amount of tinkering. The reason I brought up the ACLR:P on a vita was that it's similarly emulated to allow two sticks, but remapping the buttons in-game frequently broke the control scheme and disallowed the purge command. And since this is emulation of ACLR:P, there's a possibility of weird scenarios where purging doesn't work. I've set up and used SCP and all that before, but it behaves strangely and has a tendency to break my controllers temporarily. On the other hand, xbox controllers hurt my hands. Emulators are usually pretty receptive, though. Heck, I've been able to pretty easily just plug a PS2 controller in and use that for emulated games before.
  2. How'd you get a PS2 control scheme to work? I spent a while playing ACLR portable on my vita, but the control scheme never quite worked out properly.

    gotta be shiny.
  4. Ohey, i have terraria and I can play that. didn't notice until now.
  5. I dunno where exactly to put this, since I wound up making a video both about autocannon tanks in general and also about my own personal build. So.. I'm treating it as a post for a single build. Also, my tank is dumb, I know this. Still fun, though.

    Fallout 4

Having not touched new vegas, it's kinda nice to see fallout again.
  7. White glint hard mode, so yay.
  8. Just realized I forgot to stick another vid here from before, so... HAVE TWO. Cannons and HEAT cannon weapon arms! The newest one actually has a little bit of PvP footage to demonstrate the things. normally, it just kinda converts into a player, but didn't work for some reason. having a lot of issues getting it on here for some reason.

The blind is pretty bad compared to other CC skills on other frames, like chaos, irradiated disarm, molecular prime, firequake, accelerant, tornado, stomp, shocking speed, reckoning, prolonged paralysis, or vortex and bastille. Up until javelin was nerfed, it was excal's most popular skill for farming by killing everything all at once like miasma. Kinda doubt it'd be that useful outside of a farming scenario, though. Blind is a great move to have access to, because, CC, but supposedly is based off of line of sight checks now, which is dumb and highly limiting for CC, since you have to be in harm's way to cast it. The main advantage radial blind has over other CC skills is it's augment that lets you do stupid damage on finisher attacks to one-shot most enemies in-game. Though, javelin's cost will be getting reduced soon as part of the rework, so maybe it'll become better. I personaly haven't made an excal because he looks boring and kinda useless, and I probably won't make one until he's reworked at least.

excalibur's getting changed soon. blind and javelin benefit from different mod combinations, so you'll be using one or the other more often than both together. blind also gets the awesome mod that makes all blinded enemies vulnerable to finishing attacks for stupid damage now. javelin is just damage. good when you need instant damage against stuff like infested. Slash-dash will supposedly target and hit individual enemies in a sequence instead of being a bland forward attck. super jump is getting taken out. blind will become his new 2 ability, with javelin getting nerfed and changed to a 3. new fourth ability involving some sort of super-powered etheral sword.

    Destiny

that would require getting my bro to stop playing smite, lol. EDIT: also, the X1 controllers we have are defective and don't really work properly.

end game weapons should still be good. endgame frames right now is mixed between older and newer stuff, so you should check out some of the new stuff if it interests you.

    Destiny

My PS4 disc is still broke, but I have access to a downloaded version on the X1 if I so choose. Though I'd probably be better off buying my own PS4 copy anyway, but, I still need money to buy a PS4 in the first place. I have like 200$ saved, and need a few months to get enough for a PS4.

    Destiny

Ohais again. So, getting to see the game every day as my dad continues to play it, the first DLC seemed to very much be more of the same, which was somewhat disappointing even if it would temporarily deal with the issue of lack of content for some people. Especially as it seemed to have rather little relevance to the story and added more grind without offering much in the way of unique weapons. The old weapons from the main game were often better than those present in the first DLC due to their combination of perks. The second DLC, however, feels much more like a step in a positive direction, with the ability to upgrade old equipment, a new way to get endgame equipment without doing the same level over and over again, even if it is a horde mode. Not sure why I approve of a horde mode more than replaying single player. Maybe because you can get slightly different experiences, dunno. The addition of a new weapon type is kind of small but still good, and the small changes to the upgrades for the weapons overall seems to be another small improvement. The focus on story once again interests me slightly, though I don't know if that branch of the story is any good. House of Wolves interests me a little, has anyone else continued to play destiny, and if so, what do you think about the two DLCs so far?

    Warframe

There's a shitton more weapons and some new frames/levels. If you like being a space ninja, then play it so you can do whatever you like. The main problem people have is trying super hard to grind to endgame, but there's a lot of stuff to collect and fuck around with. There's also raids now which are cool and PvP is a lot more fun. You really need to find a person or two to play with so that you can get to whatever you need to find faster, otherwise it can be confusing/overwhelming/frustrating.

Wanted to come by and talk to myself a bit about small updates in warframe. So, they've started to re-release some of the event-exclusive items, which is nice for people that weren't able to get them, but they're being re-released in events. So still sucks for people that missed out/didn't know/took a break. But if you pay attention, you can eventually pick up on things you missed out on. There was a miserably boring/shitty event a few weeks ago with a huge backlash against it and tons of players taking a break from the game afterwards. The devs went on a stream to acknowledge that, and the next event was much less of a hassle and had fuckhuge rewards, so that's nice. A lot of free stuff/new items released recently, which is also nice. The archwing thing is still kind of empty and boring, especially since you have to play archwing to grind for archwing-specific mods and upgrades. They released a raid, which is nice. They announced that a new raid is coming and will involve space stuff, which I look forward to, though I hope it doesn't require that I have a fully upgraded archwing. A lot of the new updates are focused on revamping/balancing the PvP mode, which was actually pretty fun when I tried it. Only problem is that the amount of stuff you can use in PvP is very limited, so you have to wait for things to be re-balanced so they can be added to PvP. Thankfully, PvP and PvE are entirely separate, so you don't have to worry about something being unbalanced in multiplayer and then becoming nerfed into the ground and temporarily useless for co-operative play. Many of the rewards that people commonly grind for were shuffled around and spread out to encourage people to play different levels, but it hasn't really worked yet and the devs say they intend to rework the missions/rewards system in the next major update. So hopefully that's good. So, the game had a really dark period where things seemed bleak, and then it picked back up again and things started to improve, which is nice. On a side note, maybe I should've posted this about a week ago when there were two overlapping events with easy missions and giant rewards.
  17. Was a rough half-hour of work on that paintjob, yo. Although yeah, stacking shoulder missiles and pizza missils would be amazing.
  18. It is, lol. http://i.imgur.com/qo4Dw1W.gif
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3yAulhC9Hg I made this one time when I felt stupid, was amazing. Defenses are shit, speed is high, missiles are fun.
  20. Youtube viewers are fickle as fuck, and if a person came to you for a particular video series, they will ONLY watch that video series. If the "other" videos are well-made, you might attract a second, different audience, but it's rare that people can convince someone to watch to videos for the person behind it (IE, consistent views across all videos) and not because the game is something they were already interested in. This is most of why I've been sticking to AC stuff at the moment, since I really enjoy it and it's something I can do and eventually get decent at. I knew a few other people that tried to start off with a fairly mainstream thing like shadow of mordor, and then got mad at me when my AC vids got more views. It's a matter of "how much is your vid worth compared to others like it", and if you can't put a unique spin on it to make it stand out, then you shouldn't expect to grow a large amount of viewers anytime soon. I also kinda learned that doing stuff consistently helps a little. Doing a vid on a particular schedule, like once or twice a week, means that people are more likely to come to the videos consistently and learn to like the person behind the video as well as the video itself. Uploading whenever you feel like it or whenever you feel you have something more interesting than usual means that people are more likely to forget about you if things become few and far-between. So yeah, some of my opinions on youtube stuff.
