    There you go. I don't know how mutliplayer was in Acecombat 6 so I'm not sure if it really suffered from the same problem as the older games. When two human players are facing eachother it could be almost impossible to shoot eachother down as long as they both kept the throttle up and just zoomed across the map hoping the other player would fall for a classic trap. (I've been able to trick one of my other roomates in Acecombat Zero quite easily but that's because he's a supposed hardcore gamer who is really a major noob hahaha.)

    Sorry Slaanesh, I like the game and I'm buying it unless someone already decided to buy it for me when I get back home. I became a fan when I first got Acecombat 4 so maybe that's my problem for enjoying this one so much. Thanks Artdeux, I was thinking that wasn't true considering this kind of thing happens all the time (one game shows up with just the right mix of stuff to become popular and then gets praised as if it practically invented a whole genre).

    Dave Grohl's music really works well with how I want to live my life. It's not the most violent it's not the softest, it's simple down to earth rock and that's how I like it. Even though I was only a kid when the whole grunge scene broke out I guess it must have left that imprint in me along with all the jazz music my parents listened too. My taste is very broad when it comes to music in general. My favorite song at the moment from the Foo Fighters is probably "Come Alive" from the E,S,P, & G album. It's all about his emotions when his daughter was born and I find it flat out amazingly epic. Of course right now though I'm playing "Everlong" none stop since I finally bought the Colour album. I'd like to keep this forum strictly for bands that are at least either pushing a decade or surpassing it in length of time they have remained active. As much as I am a fan of Old School stuff as well I'd like to keep this up for bands that are still active or have only just recently retired.

    I guess my Star Fox 64 days are resurfacing for me while playing this game. I'm actually enjoying the experience, and I have seen real jets pull off crazier maneuvers than what I've seen in the game. I'm surprised everyone was getting upset about the Apache barrel roll, heck attack helicopters have been able to do all kinds of crazy maneuvers ever since well they started making specialized attack helicopters. Also as long as there is a pro mode I'm happy, I want to do complete twists and turns on my own ha. ONE MORE THING: Regenerating health is a feature from the first Halo: Combat Evolved (even though health packs were indeed still in the game). At least that was one of the things it was praised for so if someone knows a game that really introduced the feature then feel free to tell me.

Now I have an ackward image in my head which I will proceed to drown out by purposely running directly into Rim Fire's fingers of death....which I now just realized sounds SOO WRONG AAH!! Come on, RIM fire...he dual wields FINGERS, No way they did that by accident. BJ aka Black Jack (His emblem is a playing card so it was pretty obvious to guess) the AC in the intro who uses the Python.

I was able to beat Lucifer with a variant of my Hindrance design. http://armoredcoreuniverse.net/forum/index...?showtopic=2374 Utilizing the Python, I guessed that the stun was adequate enough to work in a few accurate shots from the Gast to beat him. Hey if anyone beats all six playthroughs of LR with the BJ (Apparently the real protagonist of LR) design I'll eat my socks! Nah, I'd probably just get some cotton candy and make it look like a sock.
  10. That sounds good, it was rather annoying that it had to charge all the way up. From a technical aspect it makes more sense to have a sort of safety level set as a minimum power supply requirement. If there are different charge times as well that would be really cool, but if it is a universally set timer then I am happy with that.
  11. HELL YEAH, and when our energy gauge when out we were stuck till it slowly charged all the way to maximum. Though to be honest I'm kinda glad that is gone; but, I would like to know if there is anyway to completely drain all power. I like the danger of a complete shutdown it keeps me on my toes about pushing my AC over the edge. It should work fine for ACV, but imagining a complete loss of power in AC4 & FA would be frightening, imagine how many deaths would be caused by sinking in the water hahah.

  13. I made changes based on your advice and tested it. A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE I guess I just didn't trust the tuning enough before. Hindrance is a whole new a bird thanks for the help I'm updating to it's current design now.

  17. Even though I play LR the most nowadays, AC 1 has become even more fun for me than it was when I first played it. Probably how the majority of the North American gamer base probably did not look at the game, I was one of those who was unable to fully appreciate the game till a year or two after I owned it. And I was not able to beat Nineball till almost a decade after I owned it. It's not like I wasn't close, I kinda gave up too soon and was too delicate with it. The game really forced you to think like a supersoldier in order to beat it. Keep pushing forward and don't give up till your energy gauge is zero and your AC is a burning pile of metal. It is not only the game that established the AC series but it also established From Software as a video game developer. 5/5 Original giant Handgun that looks sort of like a shotgun is my favorite weapon in the series period I even beat Nineball with it haha!
  18. Ah, do they let you guys play around with upgrading the weapons too? Me being the headstrong type would still build a lightly armored unit with strong attacks even if it means I don't win face to face matches.
  19. Not auto-lock blade dash, regular no lock-on blade dash. Even in the first game, when you use your blade the boosters activate to propel the AC forward, except in flight. Though there has always been some sort of auto-lock with the blade, it's not very obvious except in certain situations (While both AC's are trying to blade eachother during flight). I know this because of the blade only duels I fought against my brother in the original AC and AC3.
  20. Yeah I'm going to preorder the game regardless, even if it bombs commercially I know that I'll still enjoy the game. So no trademark blade dash either? I'm cool with that. But the ramming/kick looks like it takes the blade dash's place doesn't it?
  21. I thought so. Oh yeah I had a question for you, I don't know if this was already answered but is the lock-on for blading still enabled? I've only seen the one video from ClericACO's channel showing a blade being used and it doesn't look like it has an auto lock or even a boost dash function. From my observation it looks like it has some vertical aiming.
  22. Hello everyone, I have been following this thread for awhile now, and have found it very helpful over the past year or so. Relating to your statement Enganacious, could you show me the multiplayer vids you have seen. All the vids I have observed appear to be inconclusive for me in terms of multiplayer.
