you miss a game which was saga which made final fantasy 7 just dull to me after playing it and the games for thier times were excellent graphics wise oh and the art direction is awsome its based on some french artist i believe. the scary thing is the games do have an overarching plot just the american version lost some due to translation (kinda reminds me of another series there.....) oh and theres a weird ass anime for the series that came out on a white vhs >.<

So I found a political satire anime that is also a parody of shows like Yugi-oh. only 3 episodes out though that are about 7-8 minutes each. also apparently in the manga eventually the pope and then Hitler show up.

the underwater fights are fun. while portable 3 has all the old weapons they're cutting monsters and alot of the monsters they're cutting added a new flavor to the game. Don't dismiss tri just for the portable version it is different and shouldn't just be brushed aside. Besides portable 3 wont be released till a year + after jp release if it follows any trends.

I think the problem would be if you played one of the regular mt's you'd just die from an AC and even faster against a Next. Hmmmm so straight up wouldn't probably work in the setting.. maybe Squad based? more like front mission or that 360 Zoids game

Last I heard, there was Armored Core: Fort Tower Song being under development a few years back. I haven't heard anything about it since then and seems to have just disappeared off the map.

hmmm, Might have to check it out then it'll tide me over till at least the warmachine game comes out but that is not even in alpha atm as far as I recall ;_;

I got all of mine from a friend so cant quite help you with a source. btw its all done by a one person development team. its not for profit as far as i know There is a fan made anime with one episode out with some big name voice actors. and a fighting game called Immaterial and missing powers, which will make any other fighting games characters just seem less cheap. http://touhou.wikia.com/wiki/Touhou_Wiki that's a website that has most information on the series, also several fan comics and flash animations . and for the game in the video in my previous post look for "embodiment of the scarlet devil" and I'm going to get back to playing them now since i just discovered you can beat bosses passively by dodging.

So how many improvements are there from the first game? oh, that too can you play demons or is it just good marines gone bad ? I want my flamer deep strikes and my hearlds of Tzeentch shenanigans not to be off topic too... but have you seen the space marine game coming out the alpha trailer looked rather brutal.

so just started getting into Tohou last year and was wondering if there were any more types of games in this genre . Oh and general Tohou discussion if theres any other fans my favorite characters are Yukari and Ran and for those of you who don't know what im talking about is a typical boss battle in the game.

PC mainly for the same reasons as Niji. That and customization is awsome <3 and everyone who uses a mac around here have an attitude that makes me just want to punch them. I'm sure not every mac user is like that but all the ones I've met seem to be that way ;_;.

I'm just going with the simple approach to this, I'll be sad that there doesn't seem to be any of Azula. But. it's a movie I'm fine with the special effects honestly they should aim for even more of an over the top style. Kind of given up with the plot but seems to be following book 1 relativly close barring filler (book 1 had alot of that). The action scenes will be good at least if they aim for a style from the last few episodes. Rather than that.... Iroh better be awsome.... or people are going to pay. It's a movie based on a cartoon for kids,that is influenced by anime, it's not a bad thing to take influence and they did make it a bit of a different style. barring, the at best pg 13 rating which will hold it back sadly it's a movie go and see if if you liked the series if not and your bored might enjoy it if not that and you still want to see it there's always other methods

lol that would be funny and id like to see it, XD honestly the only primarch that gets on my nerves is Sanginius, but that's more because all the people ive met who play blood angels are just ass holes so anything related to them I just don't get along with.

tri is on the wii and playing the Japanese version. I'm rather enjoying the new controls the buttons that don't usually have a function serve as redundancy for item selection etc etc etc. so if you forget one button in the heat of battle there is probably a 2nd or 3rd way to do the same thing. that and there's something about jumping into the ocean wearing heavy metal armor... to attack a giant sea serpent that uses electricity as a weapon.

So since Monster Hunter Tri is going to hit American shores in April. I'd like to start recruiting people who have played the previous titles or looking forward to the new one on the suicidal mission of killing giant monsters with over-sized weapons!

well lets see I was told by a friend on final fantasy XI, that I should stop talking about random things and make a blog So.... might as well go with it. Well lets begin with a bit about me, I sold my soul to the gods of gaming long long ago when I first heard of MMORPGs. This began a steep decline with me playing various games in that genre the main one I haven't been able to quit since I picked it up is final fantasy XI. Then came the rolepalying games.... any glimmer of hope I had of a life were cast aside. I mainly play D&D 3.5 and pathfinder.... 4th edition D&D just isn't my thing. I've also dm'd a few Cthulhutech games which in my opinion is an excellent setting and system, along with paranoia (the friend computer is watching you). Finally, eventually going to be in a Rogue Trader game in the Warhammer 40k setting... I'm the captain of a crew of 400,000 people( bets on how many survive the first sortie are open). well from that the slope keeps getting steeper and now I play wargames as well with the little metal and plastic miniatures, started with Eldar in Warhammer 40k which eventually I dropped to play Demons. Eventually got interested in Warmachine and Hordes where I've sworn allegiance to Lord Toruk the father of all dragons, and the Legion of Everblight, oh and the angry elves with gu so after all that mess I decided why not. I'll go get a job as an artist... yeah... apparently you can go to college for that. oh that too...I'm also into anime and manga with my favorite artists and authors in no paticular order are (Isuna Hasikura- Spice & Wolf), (Tsutomu Nihei,-Blame, Biomega, Knights of Sydonia), and (Mamoru Nagano- Five Star Stories) well, running out of things to type right now so that is all for this post.

naa, never had a space marine army never will.I've been slowly quitting 40k for Warmachine and Hordes, But used to play Eldar, currently playing demons though because I was tempted to get into fantasy for a bit so figure ill just play the same army for both games.

I have one question Nameless, is that an Elf or an Eldar? I know they're mostly the same thing, but I'm left trying to figure out which race it is.

I'm really enjoying your models so far. I'm still being taught alot of the modeling part and stated animation last quarter at my college but if you need help I'm willing to try. Your doing an amazing job so far so please keep up the good work

My combat style hasn't really changed from AC game to AC game. I tend to play a high agressive lots of heavy weapons on a medium to light frame with speed over defense. That usually gives me a hit and run style and if the fight drags on I've usually lost the fight. Sadly, right now I'm drawing a blank on any interesting stories.

this game is hilarious I can't stop laughing best quote I've found so far though has got to be "I'll stop it faster than a Florida recount". The weird thing is the game play actually looks fun usually you don't see good game play in games like that.

honestly its more RTS than people are giving it, the zone capturing is all they're letting you do during beta there will be more game modes on release story etc. etc.. the respawn is there but honestly it doesn't hurt gameplay as far as I've seen. The game is heavily about working together the classes just split you into using infantry (cheaper more numbers less effective alone), ground vehicles (heavy firepower slow moving) and aircraft (high speed high damage expensive but cant capture points or pick up items), you gain something but give up something so you need another player in another class to support what you don't have. It's a relativly new take on the rts genre it might work it might not but at least it's something new in the genre
