  1. LOTD..... (Legion of The Dragon) good mech gods and goddesses that takes me back to the first ACO (before the forums went to hell) at that time was an AC:SL team; I amongst those ranks. Back then, they had N "Alliance" with the Kensaya Blades. Before I end my semi off topic reply; R.I.P RJD. On topic: to my knowledge there is no such clan on the PS3 side of ACVD.
  2. So; I know some things have gotten adjusted or flat out nerfed. Anyone have links? Ahem: I would greatly and sarcastically thank all the QQ'ers for nerfing my KE blade range: now the basic KE pile, and CE pile out range these bad boys and for what.... Oh I think I know; all the KE squishy AC's and pilots who don't know how to fucking dodge Also on the nerf list is the KE Gatling guns, the Karasawa series, and unconfirmed so far to my knowledge some AC parts. I read somewhere RJ's were getting a speed boost for the heavies. That's all I know. While yes, this could be somewhat examplified as a QQ'er comment on vendetta blade arms; my point is this; if these things can get out ranged by KE and CE, not to mention out damaged by CE and TE WHY JUST my blade arms. I will listen to valid input, don't get it twisted; I am flustered a bit by it and it's not like KE blades are common OR as CoMMOn AS dual amp TE dual blade with 22 range stat base so... Shut the front door! What the truck is up with these mother fathering mass average players getting decent parts nerfed so they may feel accomplished in beating other players
  3. What they shoulda did is brought back the EO cores from back in the day; Other note; if ACV dissapointed you; ACVD is the tissues to the endless boxes wasted once ACV segregated servers

I am very impressed with what's been sad; if you go back to The AI systems of the pulverizers were similar to A) UNAC behavior B) the reptile like bird mech thing (never know the name but when I hear that sound...) on the autonomous unit you face in "Forgiveness of an Angel" mission I can't help a déjà vu. It would be interesting to see IF and/or HOW FROM WoD bring the about. Also, the "Foundation." Um... AC3; The "Controller".

  7. I've seen UNAC AC's float and fight, even THE TANK !! So what the flying flapjacks is this con flammed jack cow tipping problem is going on here?? I'm thinking it might be the booster, I use high acceleration on mine, and I sink. @Obliviondoll: Welcome to my world... And water...

  10. As posted in another thread there are confirmed water based maps; which I completely love. However; water does not like me, namely my AC Disbolus (Zanshin of ACFA). Can't float, leaving my AC a target for just about everything... Have any of you made an AC specifically to combat game elements that naturally work against your style of combat? If so, what changes did you make? Reasons? End result of modifying AC and how it affects your play style? Currently I have no experience to go about tackling such an issue above; if it's just me I must be really good at making bricks and new coral growth for the fishies in the sea....
  11. Sadist here, I lose I rage and hit harder, one thing I've noticed also with faction choices; water based maps.... My AC sinks..... Which is highly annoying. Also I agree with ManInThwArmor for Venide

  15. I haven't seen anything posted in THIS part of the forum for ACVD so I may as well jump in and lay one down. I am curious as to which faction you chose ( or would like to choose) to either win, lose, stalemate, and your reasons. aHEM: I chose Venide as my faction for the first round: Reasons? I want Australia and USA but Sirius has one and EGF has the other. Reading through I was told EGF applications were temporarily stopped... Now, I'm not one to go with the masses here; but I prefer red over blue... Heh... RvB, am I alone here as a Venide War commander?? Almost took the USA tonight
  16. I've been playing on legendary for a while and I can honestly say I'm totally one race... Argonian!!! Dragon born reptile.... I customized the head and face to look similar to the dragons and it's come out really well.
  17. So..... Besides me... Who else took the VENDETTA physical blade arms to the glint? First stage I can hit the mofo... 2nd stage it's ACFA all over again... Chasing back pedal dual rifle/ missile spammer into corners and back hoping to keep my UNAC #5 alive to mow down with KE auto cannons and pray for a victory. Side note. My mid weight vendetta AC hit the 2nd stage glint.... Had that fxcker down to 1,000 AP before I died.... No Gats or rifles or snipers just good old fashioned bitch slapping
  18. I have seen JP names, what seems to be clans, & of course the epic emblems and such; heck I found someone who lives in the Ukraine who plays this game. SO FAR it seems good old merged unsegrigated ACFA type servers have also returned.
  19. ACVD no joke; Notify your doctor if you have a re-occuring mind blown status; this game IS that Epic.
  20. There is CG, but it's more realistic to the gameplay; I found myself dissapointed when I see a full CG opening and get lack luster visuals and bland color schemes. I disliked ACV a great deal; Verdict day, much better. Don't just take my word for it P.S. God mode Glint as a boss battle.
  21. Oh yes, t re are new big baddies to fight, the weapon arms are a wide variety; Currently using the dual sold boxes wth CE and TE bac up and o-m-g I found my ACFA aggressive play style in ACVD!! This is what ACV should've been!! The gameplay is smoother, there are those weird lag spikes or building issues (mostly gone 99.9%) and the storyline, and gameplay intensity is much higher. ACVD is a saving grace
  22. Ho-ly shiet! What have I MISSED?!!? Okay so, I read through ALL five PAGES OF THIS and I have to say... GOLD!. Now, I have only heard small specularity inclinations of 'tryhard' AC's and players BUT; now that I have had some more experience with AC4A I want to enlighten a little more. My main AC is a lightweight with limited/high damage ammo (Meaning, ladies and gentleman; what I wield on my back, can kill me by splash damage alone if I am stupid while playing) So despite being Extremely reactionary and to the point of "playing without thinking" I --have-- to adapt and plan somewhat ahead. With this in mind with the lighter armor I have to be evasive (with my combat style) which means my CQC aggression tips from OMFG to almost purely defensive, you add in a laser blade on it with those high powered weapons I have great potential to inflict massive amounts of damage, even on tanks and heavyweights. When I don't have my Laser blade (most familiar with me to those who still play on-line and manage to roam JP forums etc I am not well liked in discussions, but actually playing me in both PVP and multi-player adds a HUGE difference to the dynamics of what is going on, the survivability ratio and how hard you have to try/hit me in order to either A) maintain the highest AP until the counter hits 0 B) Actually kill me and reduce my AP to 0. My style has branched out to MW and now to HW, but my style is nowhere near as aggressive with the blade (As you go 1 direction once you swing that sword and that is forward) With this in mind comes my input on "Backpedaling" In my main AC I have a simple Latona back booster system, which I don't tune so I have a rather poor back boosting system. This forces me and I cannot stress the word FORCES me to quick turn and try again. The ONLY times I personally Backpedal is to 2nd stage and stay either on top or underneath my opponent's AC (again mainly with a blade) Without a blade I incorporate the back boosting as mentioned by a few above, to maintain a certain distance so my weapons remain effective and do not become obsolete. Every tactic and every AC can be beaten, just as every player is human, regardless of the ability and prowess of the player or players at hand in the match in both PVP and multi. I've fought a few of you in my years of playing AC4A in the past, but none here I believe recent (which is sad, since Parry put my name on that old Black List my chances of having a good fight has dropped dramatically, regardless of my play style and my skill level. True, back then I had one of the worst connections, but this time around I am quite more solid. As Niji (both) have said, hate the player for using that tactic to defeat you and ruin your fun when you believed you should have won. I admit fighting a Backpedaling AC style IS annoying, BUT as mentioned above, it can be countered. I now take great joy in fighting backpedaling AC designs and players, just to see how much I can do despite their often best efforts to A) maintain distance for their comfortability B) Weapon lock on radius that is most effective and C) and this one goes to a few out there; who revel in getting other players mad with their play style of choice. I will admit I am guilty of demonizing back pedal designs and play styles because I was nowhere used to A) my own style B) that particular style and C) an ego trip. Now, in personal player customizability (makes sense but not found in dictionary) I use Type-B with Manual Aim, Purge, Boost which lowers my accuracy with Sniper Rifles and Cannons considerably, forcing me to adjust my style and the angles I am used to in order to secure a hitting blow (YES lag is such a tease, empty a FULL 061 Sniper Cannon into a JP lightweight and NOTHING) But that is only due to the limitations and fall-backs of 1) distance between players 2) the Internet connection types and 3) the game and 4) the players style. I have come across a few players both USA, EU, and JP, and ETC that I have cut with a blade (on my end) but nothing to them, maybe at the most a PS PSHHSEW (like when its hit with a SLUG or with another PA piercing weapon) Which I admit does give me a great deal of frustration BUT also encourages me to find the next angle, the next method to where my strike DOES the damage I KNOW it should, given the EN defense of the AC and with all factors added into it.   23. Why is the Eltannin under restrictions? I can understand the moonlight, but why the Eltannin? Everything can be countered, but about adds.... Adds on LW's no. Add's on LMW, no. ADDS on a tank??? Sure... Why not... Ever see a tank fly?
  24. I bladed against Hyde a while back when I was still learning the stuff and Holy shit....I got pwned by AALIYAH the good old fashioned way and I loved it. What can I say? Sadist in aggression and machochist when losing....The action doesnt stop! modded for reasons of own personal Hypracrocy of thread starter post.
